Illegal vendors did the same at the Santa Monica Pier and the surrounding area. They'd leave huge messes by dumping their grease and garbage on the ground for city crews to clean up. No matter how many times they were instructed to leave they kept coming back. Many interactions between the illegals and the cops were captured on video and their attitudes of defiance, contempt, and entitlement were on full display. Santa Monica had to fence off all but one entrance to the pier and hire private security to guard the remaining entrance but that didn't stop them because the guards weren't allowed to physically prevent them from entering. So, the city had to create a special task force which consisted of police, firemen, code enforcement, and county health inspectors to routinely patrol the area. After a couple of months of citations, seizures, and even towing away a couple of the vendors' trucks, the illegal vendors finally gave up and left. However, the cost of this effort was in the millions.

@@omarvaquero4672 I've seen the typical obese "fruitas" vendors scratch/pick their wedgie of the leggings while preparing the drink. I'm even afraid to eat at most tacquieras now as the cooks are mostly illegal aliens who don't care about food safety.

See how business wants to pit employees aginst each other to 'compete' for our wages but they start crying woes of indignation about the businesses having to compete with other businesses..hypocrisy is thy name

The street vendors are not taking away customers from the restaurants. The prices of the items in the restaurants are pushing customers away.

Yes they are. These restaurant owners have to pay a lot of fees, taxes,, & follow health department with food safety rules & regulations. What these street vendors do? They hijacked the customers without being penalized for failing to follow the city ordinanances.

Yup, customers would rather risk food poisoning than take out a bank loan for a hot dog.

I will stop going to any business that doesn't support the sidewalk dog. Those are the most exceptional glizzies imaginable. I am willing to fight for this cause until I die. I stand with street hotdogs!!!!!!
