Well it isnt too difficult to assume that, after fredbear's shutdown, the company still held on to the fredbear suit and had it as a spare in the newer freddy locations, much like the spring bonnie costume. Also, in the TV easter egg in fnaf 4, we see the fredbear and friends commercial, where Fredbear is shown alongside the 4 other animatronics, suggesting that fredbear was a part of the animatronic show at freddy fazbear's pizza, but may have eventually been retired and is only used as a spare following the bite incident at fredbear's family diner and William eventually stuffs cassidy's body in the spare fredbear suit at some point, thus proving that golden freddy can still be fredbear despite the closing of fredbear's family diner.
Cassidy was the final kid to go missing during the Missing Children Incident, which had taken place presumably in the fnaf 2 location, or an unnamed location. At the FNAF 2 location there is no Fredbear suit, only a Withered Golden Freddy suit which has a completely different design from the canonical Fredbear. I believe Fredbear was REQUIRED to be destroyed after the bite of 83.
@@jokuh2286 I don't think that golden freddy from fnaf 2, is the SAME fredbear who was responsible for the bite of 83. I believe there were at least 2 fredbear suits. The one in fredbear's diner, who was responsible for the bite, and another version of fredbear, who we come to know as golden freddy, who was at the freddy's location with the other OG animatronics who would eventually become the withereds in fnaf 2. I believe this version of fredbear, or golden freddy, was likely decommissioned following the bite of 83, possibly because the company wanted to disassociate from the bite incident, and that would mean, decommissioning the fredbear suit from the main show, and instead only have it as a spare. I believe this is the fredbear that cassidy was stuffed into. As for the design changes, I doubt that really means much, given how the series is very inconsistent with its designs across minigames, which brings me to my next point. We have technically never seen what fred-bear actually looked like outside of minigames or the fnaf 4 gameplay itself. The minigames arent consistent, and fnaf 4 was possibly a dream. Neither of those are accurate representations of fredbear. However, by broadly going off minigame design, we know that fredbear looks a lot like golden freddy. And in fnaf 3 we see what appears to be golden freddy, or fredbear, performing alongside spring bonnie in the stage 01 minigame. So for all we know, fredbear's true canonical design simply could have been that of a yellow colored freddy, or in other words, fred bear is essentially golden freddy.
@@freegracetruth77 In Ultimate Custom Night Fredbear's design was shown to be Golden Freddy with a purple hat and bowtie. I doubt there was more than one Fredbear animatronic, but there was likely endoskeletons for it. At most there was spare Fredbear suits to wear. I see no reason as to why they would create a different model of Fredbear to be a sloppy recolor of Freddy Fazbear. When it comes to the FNAF 4 minigames being a dream that is unlikely, judging by the private room's cameras in sister location's secret fifth night it's safe to assume William Afton had some sort of involvement with it.

For instance, In fnaf 4, when the crying child is bitten by fredbear, we see a brown variant of spring bonnie, and earlier we saw the traditional golden bonnie suit in the parts and service room and in that one scene where William is seen putting the golden bonnie suit on an employee. Who knows, come to think of it, maybe, after the fred bear suit was put out of order cause of the bite, golden freddy was originally going to be used as an alternate version of fred bear, or maybe it was the same suit redesigned, to look less like the old fred bear and more like regular freddy Its really all up in the air

could endo 02 be made for spring bonnie when the bite of '83 happen so then fredbear and the main gang was modifited to have a permant endo in them already so only springbonnie needed the mod but will took springbonnie and use it to kill the kids and because of the suit movement and blood being on the suit they decided to scrap fredbear, springbonnie, W.Freddy, W.Chca W.Foxy, W.Bonnie and then make the toys and was gonna have an investigation on why there was blood on the suit but decided against it thinking some teens could have entered and put the suit on and one of them got spring lock partly but their friends were able to remove the suit before anymore when off so the classics were scrap for the toys and then the toys were scrap for a newer model using parts of the classic suits they made the FNAF 1 models without a huge jaw other then foxy who need it to look like a fox this would explain why will got springlocked if the suits were ment to be made to have a permanent endoskeleton in them but spring bonnie was just scrap completely and moved to the backroom and they couldn't find fredbear and the withered would move around in the part's and service room
