Great video. Rain, slick asphalt, insecure load, Bear's is awesome, Yellow Lake - sometimes it is a Yellowish-green, it used to be even more so before they put in the aireation. Glad you corrected yourself on the Martin Mars. She is an awesome plane. I was living on Yorkton during the Garnet Fire in '94 and the Mars would come over us at less than 100' dropping down to Skaha Lake to scoop water. Very impressive.
@@JuanRempel I remember her being based at the north end of Osoyoos Lake for a bit. Can't remember what fire that was. Driving south on 97 I remember my first thought on seeing her tail sticking up over the brush was, "When did they put that building there?", then I realized what it was. The tail rises nearly 40 feet above the surface of the water.
At about the 19:30 mark there is a really crazy steep logging road heading off to your left. You can get right over to Hedley on it now. Its closed right now because of the fire hazard. Several mines up there. Marble and Jasper too!
Interesting. Look up "oral allergy syndrome" if you haven't, certain pollens, like birch or grass, can cause it with kiwi ..would be curious if you had it with a few others they mentioned.
I ended up being okay with blueberries. The first time (in video) had quite the reaction. Then next 2-3 times I had them less and less reaction, until now there's nothing...took time for my body to realize blueberries can be friend.
There is no stone fruit grown in British Columbia this year due to the previous terrible winter. No peaches, no nectarines, no apricots. Those are all imported from the good old USA. The other fruit is available here such as cherries, plums, apples, pears has made it from surviving the winter. I went to school with the creator of Bears Fruit Stand, he is now gone and there are new owners. Keep those videos coming.
I’ve stopped and gotten apricots twice there this month, and although they are orange, they have little taste, some are “green” tasting, and the crazy $7.99/ small basket. The blueberries are good though. I just got a 10# bag of Sunrise apples from down across from Sanderson’s fruit stand, and they are quite mealy, for new crop apples. oh well. Lucky to have so many fruit choices here. 🤙
Very enjoyable video thankyou 😊

Good morning Juan and Jess, it's not a hard rain, just a mobile truck wash.
A free one at that
8:53 I willing to bet that's the Highway contractor going to clear that chair.
The apricots look yummy. I saw some munchies food. You'd find me there.

I remember seeing her fly in and out of Osoyoos lake while on vacation many years ago

I've gone up that logging road with a quad. The logging road was deactivated, we detoured to the peak of Apex mountain.
The Martin Mars was not originally a water bomber.
Oh really, was it a passenger plane originally?
Morning, the fruit looked delicious! And for corn, have you ever had Taber Alberta corn? Again delicious
There are a lot ,4 lanes on this stretch of Hyw the last time I was on it. Nice!
No, I don't think I've ever had Taber sweet corn
36:56 Left Merge Lane👍 finally. Hopefully thats properly posted for right lane traffic.
I look at Pendicton weather today it said heavy rain!
It sure is, and really cool
38:22 Jess, I have the same reaction with Kiwi fruit.

I'm glad it was a lounge chair and not an animal. Hopefully someone did stop and move it, otherwise it could cause a bad accident
34:30 Spruce Goose the Howard Hughes plane.
It was also a name for a smaller Albatross in the TV series Tales of the Gold Monkey. 80's.
Which was based on a 1939 movie Only Angles Have Wings.
Yes, that's it
7:13 blind hill too
I sure hope no one hit that
See you again in a while crocodile 🐊 👋
I am in the Keremos area 😊
Nice weather too
Had an uncle that was Postmaster in Keremeos prior to 2k for about 30 years as I recall. Visited a few times.
Hopefully Jess video is on UTube as i dont have TikTok.
