So I was having trouble with my 09 Mercedes Benz c350...no turn signals, or wipers, nor high beam. And my fan ran on high just as you said. I changed the SAM module with one that has the exact same part number. Now I have no cruise control and still no turn signals or wipers or high beam and my fan still runs on high!!! Could it be something else?
Thank you so much for your video!! It helped a lot. I'm changing my front SAM module, but I can't seem to get those two full power wires out. The ones on each side of the SAM.
Hey I just got used Sam module with same part number and diagram number do I need to get tech to program the used Sam or it safe to plug and play , only asking because I don’t wanna lose functions I have in my car thank you

Good morning to you. 80% of SAM issues are due to corrosion caused by condensation moisture & dust?. If yes, how about taking out SAM still in good working condition, to be cleaned, dried out gently & then spare with a thin layer of CRC urethane spray just onto the PCB board. This would be like a PM. Too thick a layer of urethane spray might trap more heat in the PCB board?. For each cleaned up terminal connection will a drop of WD40 or thin application of dielectric grease be advisable?. Regards.
Yes, it's true that corrosion caused by moisture and dust is a common issue with SAM modules. However, it's important to note that the process of cleaning and applying protective coatings to the module can be tricky and should be done with care. In regards to your suggestion of cleaning and applying a thin layer of CRC urethane spray, this could be an effective way to prevent future corrosion. However, it's essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully, as applying too much or too little could lead to issues. If the layer of urethane spray is too thick, it could potentially trap heat and cause issues with the PCB board. Therefore, it's crucial to apply it sparingly and ensure that it doesn't interfere with any airflow around the module. For each cleaned-up terminal connection, it's advisable to apply a small amount of dielectric grease to help prevent corrosion and improve conductivity. WD40 can also be used, but it's important to use it sparingly and ensure that it doesn't cause any issues with the electrical contacts. Overall, it's important to consult with a qualified technician or specialist to ensure that any maintenance or repair work is done correctly and doesn't cause further issues with the SAM module.

If your 2006 Mercedes C180's SRS module is not communicating, it could be due to a few reasons. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you could take: Check the connections: Ensure that all the connections between the SRS module and other components are secure and properly connected. Loose connections can cause communication problems. Check the wiring: Inspect the wiring leading to and from the SRS module for any visible damage or breaks. A damaged wire can cause communication errors. Scan the system: Use an OBD-II scanner to scan the SRS module for any error codes. This can give you a better idea of what is causing the communication error. Replace the SRS module: If all else fails, the SRS module may need to be replaced. However, this can be an expensive repair, so it is best to exhaust all other options before considering this option. It is important to note that working on the SRS system can be dangerous, as it is responsible for controlling the airbags in the event of an accident. Therefore, it is recommended to have a professional mechanic diagnose and repair any issues with the SRS system.
