2008 MERCEDES BENZ C300 FRONT SAM FUSE BOX REPLACEMENT

In this video I had a friends Mercedes Benz c300 that had a electrical issue with the lights staying on while it was parked and locked. He told me to replace his fuse box under his hood because the way they are designed, they get wet do to the drains getting clogged. Hope the video helps.

Can you open up the old SAM and see any corrosion on it's connections or on PCB board. See if there is any conformal coating on the old PCB board. Thanks.

? How did you connect the cables to new fuse box they look complicated do the colour match !?

Thanks for the tips. I replaced on a C180 W204 with the exact same part number, but windows switches are now inversed (the left one controls the right window), and some dash lights are on such as Pre safe. It apparently have been programmed but still have these issues. Any idea ? Can we program it without mercedes software ? Thanks

How did you remove the drives side blades without nuts?

Future reference you dint have to take the cowl or any of that out at all it can slide out of where it's at just have to be gentle

Where's the front sam control module is it connected to the fuse box

I have a 09 I think it’s the same under the hood, problem is I can’t find the part. I took it to Mercedes and they said the units not Available anymore

What you need to do is removed en clean it Opened . You don’t need one . Why do you go to bad. Because water goes under when you drive the car or when you’re rain, but clean it inside and it’ll work again the same one you have
