Thanks for another good year of Beautiful Rockhounding on the Yellowstone. Can't wait till next year.
I found this episode very relaxing. Love the mix of rocks, a bit of everything.
Thank you for taking us along with you!
That agatized coral was definitely my favorite from this hunt!
I just started my rockhounding because of wonderful people like you !! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Wow Katy, you find the most beautiful rocks. Love watching you hunt and cut. Much love to you and your family.
Wow Kate, you found the elusive pig nose rock!!🤣😂 Nice haul!!👍😎👻🌶️ The fossils were really awesome too!! Thanks!
Katy, not all of us can enjoy a fun hobby with our spouse!!! What a blessing to see a couple enjoying a wonderful day together!!!
Thank you for sharing your adventures ❣️
Thank you! I am lucky indeed. Jim really didn't have any interest in rocks, but he IS interested in me, so he came along - and learned to love it.
Fantastic video! That last pet wood looked pink and the agatized coral was gorgeous ❤️❤️. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much I appreciate you and Jim and Kava. I enjoyed the trip. Keep on doin!!!👍👍😊
If it’s going to be the last boat trip, at least it was a good one. Right on Kate. 😎😎
Rock hunting is addictive!
I really like Jim’s bucket wagon! ❤
October is my favorite fall weather, not hot, not cold, the colors changing, waters down and nature at it's best
You both did very well on the last hounding trip, it seems like the summer just flew by though..
Thanks for bringing us along ..😎😊
So many beautiful rocks!
Another boating/rockhounding season done 😢. I anxiously await the spring.
Im so happy u make these videos for us To c❤. I love the nature In there. And the rocks. Above all, the rocks❤❤❤
Thanks for taking me along!! My rock beds are beginning to freeze to the ground....😢....waiting for next spring....
Great finds and enjoyable day before snow flies!
Oh Katy, thanks to your videos and book, I know exactly what you meant when you said rockhounding is so much more than finding rocks. Montana’s blue sky and fresh air on the rocky shores is incredible since I traveled to and rockhounded on the Yellowstone River in Montana.
So glad you could get out here!
Ok, that green Jasper was outrageous!
beautiful finds! I am especially fond if petrified wood.
Looks like a really fun hunt.
Beautiful day too.
Great to share it with your hubby.
Look forward to your future hunts.
Love that agatized coral.
FUN! Thanks for taking us along!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I just adore watching your videos!!!! I also learn so much from you!!! Thank you so much!!! Keep doing!! Lol
So funny, I was thinking jasperlicious just a few seconds before you said it😂 That green jasper is fabulous. Hey, finally some coral, I would love to get some.

The iron stone is fascinating!
Fun hunt. We are having a beautiful Fall. Can wait to see some of these cut. Thanks for sharing ❤

It is!

Nice jaspagate!
Thanks for sharing! Interested to see your winter rock projects!
Awesome finds again
Bucket list! Maybe next year! 🤞
That was an awesome hunt
I wish I could come along just to find some petrified wood.
Hadir menyaksikan🎉
At 2:10 - I think that's a petrified pig snout. 😄
Without a doubt! LOL
That was an awesome last boat trip out for the season! Wow! You just got a ton of great stuff! Ok first lets talk about that huge fossil conglmomerate! That was awesome! And i assume that is going to Theo! But oh wow! And then there was that stromatolite! I love those! Are you putting them in your etsy store. Because i collect them and would love some from the yellowstone! They are so different from each place ive seen them and i would love to buy some more. And then there is the huge amount of cool agate and the pet wood, and jasper! Just a bunch of really amazing finds! And i keep checking your etsy store but there doesnt seem to be anything new in there! Lol! And then jim is becoming as much of a rockhound as you are! Thanks Kate and Jim, for this last boat trip of this year! ❤❤❤
It seems, after watching a bunch, that the Treasure State agates are the rarest.
I know it’s chilly now…but you might get a break or two. Meanwhile…let the slicing commence! Thanks.
Snow is melting as we speak!
If you slab that coral I’d love to see it!
This was a great video. I loved it all. And, I spend enough time outside, I could feel your warm sun and smell your fall air.
4:00 Looks like a DOG!! 🐶
A river boat, a pile of rocks, and thou; Sounds like a perfect day. You'll have lots to keep you busy this winter. Please show us what you do with all those beautiful and interesting rocks.
😕😳🤔OT (off-topic), I see a lot of people using the expression "OT" in their videos, and though I've tried to find what it means, it seems to have many definitions. Since you used it in your video, could you please tell me what you mean by "OT"? Thanks for another splendid video. Keep doing.
I think you found a petrified pig snout 🐽 at the beginning of the video 😂
😂 love the 'stats' for this vid...shows...
3.3K views, but 261K thumbs up 🤣...anyone else noticing this...this is 2nd channel...first noticed on Agate Dad's video 😂🌻🦁
:D It shows 396 likes when I look at it - 261k would be people liking it A LOT!!!!
Hi, I would like to come visit next year when the rocks come out of winter hibernation. I have a Roadtrek camper van and one small dog. I would love to meet up at a campground along the river and go walking with you to find some rocks. My favorite thing is walking on the beach in Washington. But I love all the pretty rocks!
The Washington beaches are definitely different from the Yellowstone - but both are beautiful!
Nooo I missed it because of the clocks. 😔 😩 😭
Boo!
I want to hunt with you!
What do you do with your bigger rocks? Do you cut them? As an aside I would enjoy coming to Montana and find agates.
That looks like a pigs snout!
It does!
Katy, are you and Jim married? You two are an adorable couple. I have been watching your rockhounding vids for a year now; quite relaxing with your choice of background music. Also, can you share a link or give a name of those squirt bottles, as they look really efficient at cleaning off specimens. I hunt a lot in Southern California. If you're down here, check out the Hauser Geode Beds and areas like Acton Canyon.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos. Jim and I have been married for nearly 40 years - so all the rough edges are worn off. :D
How old is the coral?
Petrified knot from a tree?
I'm in Arizona do you know if we have agates?
Oh, you sure do! Buy yourself an "Arizona Rockhounding" book, or Google Arizone rockhounding - you'll be amazed!
that might have been a primitive tool
Maybe - but I don't know what it would be used for!
Looks like a pigs snout
at 2.17, must be some fossilated bone, do`nt you think? have you seen Botswana Agats? Those is THE most beutiful I have seen, have bought some here. About Agats, have you watched Gravelbar hoppers videos? I am wondering where he found those huge and nice Agats?? He have not been online for a very long time, so I hope someone can find out where he picked up his Agats? He picked them along a riverside it looked like, but I do not know where. Just when you was saying this is something for Theo, I was thinking that too🤩You really did find a lot of gemswow, that green Jasper
