So I screwed up and added the distilled water before charging it and mine batteries have been leaking. So what do I do now? Do I have to replace the batteries or?

My Crown Deep Cycle golf cart batteries started leaking 18 months after install. I have had golf carts for 15 years and have not experienced this before. These are the first Crown batteries I've owned. I think I'll go back to Trojan Batteries.

Hi Jon, were they being charged at the time? In most instances water can come out of the caps if the batteries are being overcharged. If in doubt, please call our customer service team on 1300 361 161.

It'll depend how much acid leaked out of it - which can be tricky to ascertain on modern sealed batteries.
