Very nice review! You pretty much hit all the points. I give it more credit for originality though. And this is just my personal take on it. To me, I think it is far more "original" than people credit it for. I guess that's because it contains "farming". I see it more as a survival and legacy builder game if you want to play it that way - and that's also an originality point to me. How many "cozy farming games" allow you to increase or decrease difficulty on the fly? Or give you the option to play several saves at varying difficulties so you can turn everything off and focus on the residents of Honeywood or make a new save with everything ramped up so you are challenged to survive in this 1701 era with all the hardships life can throw at you. Basically, I love this game and I'm so happy you checked it out! Take care Jade and thank you for all you do!!
I wish more games had the generations system, it's one of my favourite features but it's so rare 😢 thank you for the review, definitely made me want to try the game!
Love your review! I think it's always important with new games to acknowledge that many parts of it will change, especially with this one as the devs are very active communicating with players and are already working to implement things players want. If you look at any other popular cosy game like stardew valley or even the sims the first released version is almost unrecognisable to what it's like now. I've got big hopes for this game!
Thanks i do like the graphics & and it looks fun but havent bought it. I am still on my 1st playthrough of stardew valley & after that i will need something today different
Now that's a very interesting bug! Be sure to report it to the devs. They are very responsive over on Discord and take care of things pretty quickly. ;-)
I was on the fence about this game, but your review helped me decide to go for it! 😍 I'm really looking forward to trying it out and I think since it's essentially 'early release', they'll work out any bugs soon. Added bonus that it's on sale with Steam at the time of this comment so yay! 😄 Thank you 💖
Graphics weirdly make or break a game for me. This one doesn't seem up my ally, especially with so many other cozy games out there. This one looks like a skip for me. Thanks for the video.
Definitely not weird for graphics to make or break a game for somebody. It's only natural to want to enjoy something with good graphics and if this one ain't it, then it ain't it. ;-) Thanks for dropping by and showing some love!

It's rare that I see a game that's so goddamn cute. It's giving Paper Mario a run for its money, as far as I'm concerned!
This is the most in depth review I’ve seen of this game yet! Gonna check out the rest of your vids. I love your style of reviewing 👍🏼
Thank you so much!!
I started this last night and I’m really enjoying it! I agree with your assessment. I’d add that I wish the world were a bit bigger.
I just started this game and I agree with all you’ve said! Just a few hours in but I think it’s great!
I’m sooo glad we can turn off hunger. My character was constantly about to die of starvation 😂
Looks like it's worth getting this since there's a summer sale.
im late to the party but the poison cake at the end won me over. i need this game.. :P
Lol The Death Cake is definitely a selling point. hehe

Couldn't agree more! I'm super excited to see how this game evolves. 💜🥰
I would love to see your score for Little-Known Galaxy and Little Kitty Big City
Great suggestions!

I have had a bug of the lavender or crops dropping as a baby chick icon and glitching occasionally

I bought it before i finished the video, oops!
This looks amazing, definitely another game to add to my "wish I could, alas it probably wont happen" list
Im going back to watch those VODs

Graphics or art style? Because those are two different things.
That needed to be announced for what reason, exactly…?
I totally get that. I like the art style because it gives me paper mario vibes.
Seems pretty dark for a cozy game.
Nah, not at all. It's actually quite cozy. ;-)
