I think it’s really crazy how rl esports is at an all time low. Players can’t make a living out of it anymore and on top of that, like you said, orgs can’t get good/enough sponsorships. Epic games needs to clean all this up
while it doesn't make "moral" sense, if you will, it 100% makes financial sense. Customers are coming to Epic to get that player anthem. Epic has to attract sponsors to endorse the game. They cannot be seen openly endorsing items that have harmful effects on children, but they can allow children to indulge in less-savory music. It's all about money.
Words and thoughts cant hurt you, legally speaking. Gambling and drugs (caffine) can. Thats what sucks about this terrible rule system, epic could change the rating to E10+ instead and fix so many problems
Coco they don't support energy drinks because caffeine is a controlled substance technically considered a drug. Ice spice, although vulgar, has radio hits, and art isn't held to the same standards and consumable ingestible products.
Caffeine is not in fact a controlled substance. Is caffeine healthy for kids to consume? No. Is the things Ice Spice sings about healthy for kids to be consuming? Also likely not. While I understand that the long term effects of exposure to overly sexual themes cant be measured like the effects of caffeine can, I still believe its extremely hypocritical of them to tout their E rating as a reason why they cant have energy drink sponsors, then ignore the adult themes of the music they put in the game. Maybe im just a boomer but I dont see why we dont have both of them or neither of them.
@JamaicanCoconutRL loose use of the words controlled substance I agree it is a drug. Promoting any drug verse promoting a song with censored lyrics is bit of a reach. I agree with the sentiment, but the energy you brought with that came off misogynistic. Art can not be quantified that way, and when you do is when you start policing freedom of expression.
@@chasedaknight this is saying you’re okay with you’re daughter listening to pimp cultured music where they talk about sex trafficking and degrading woman but as long as it was bleeped out it would be fine. I’d rather my daughter have a redbull over listening to someone degrading themselves constantly on a music track or exposing herself
@jomo_rl ahh yes the grand old argument of I'd rather my child take drugs than dress a certain way. I assume you don't have kids but just a FYI kids don't buy their own clothes, if your child has to look up to an outside role model, one needs to reflect on why your child doesn't look up to their own parent.

there is nothing more infuriating than being on a loss streak to go back to the menu and hear ice spice orange ahh.

shoutout coconut for mentioning dance with the devil, crazy song
"If you haven't heard of Ice Spice you must be living under a rock"
Or we don't seek out or tolerate garbage.
If Epic Games was a person, they'd be at Chuck-E-Cheese putting roofies on the pizza in order to get them to buy time shares in Belarus.
Couldn't you say the same for Snoop Dog?, love you videos coco.
yeah but that isnt the current culture war people care about so...
Best video to listen while making homework

I’d rather my daughter drink redbulls at 14 then dressing like ice spice and aspiring to be anything like her
