It's still really hard to consider the sheer skill it takes to *fake* a ceiling shot, and still save that dodge to get it past the last defender. All with so many layers of pressure on him.

The dodge is always saved in a ceiling shot, but that fake was Calculated!

Dude, you're killing it with these videos! I absolutely adore the mini-doc approach to game defining moments and I hope you continue to make these.
God your editing skills are so damn good. Who would've thought that a ten minute video, about one goal, could be so entertaining. Also, Fluump recently uploaded a good Squishy-related video. This is getting me pumped that maybe, just maybe, this will finally be the year that C9 takes home 1st place in the RLCS championship!

i was at this rlcs and let me tell you, the atmosphere after he hit that shot is the most hopeful i’ve ever seen a group of people. in dc everyone wanted to see cloud 9 win.
I can't tell you how much I love this video, Sunless.
Everything about it. The choice of the shot itself. The thrilling and rousing narrative. The giant build-up, that enables anyone to relive what people who followed the scene at that time, experienced. The really detailed analysis of the shot with a sensible focus on the fake, all while everything looks like a fucking cinematic high-end slow-motion montage, that took a year to make. To a music choice that couldn't fit better if you ask me.
It's just beautiful. And at the same time, because you explain everything so well and build in all these old moments and comparisons at the right times, it represents an easy glimpse for people who don't play Rocket League into what the game and even e-sports in general is about.
I don't know how long it's been, since I had that much fun in rewatching a video over and over again, but I want to say thank you for this and hope, that you put even only half as much effort into the next episode of this promising format.

Appreciate the content you provide. As someone who just started the game and hasn't even unlocked a title yet, I can respect all the players of this game. I used to think this was a kids game, now I see it in a while different light. My journey may have just started, with the basic of basic car control and fashion. But I appreciate your videos for helping me learn as I start my adventure into RL.

ik this was made 2 years ago but i feel like you should do more if these, to me they are like watching rocket leagues history. Like a documentary on 1 important part that leads to more stories making more documents on other legends that followed in there foot steps to get to this level of greatness.
I come back every now and then a rewatch this just to remind myself I'll never get out of platinum or get better. Which for some unknown reason bring along relief since Pros are pros for a reason.

I just wish you would have mentioned in here the hours Squishy spent on stream practicing shots like this. One of the few RLCS pros who will stream themselves just sitting in freeplay practicing shots and mechanics for hours. Showing the rest of us what kind of dedication it takes to play at the highest level.
