I've done this kind of replacement installation and the wiring is not such a problem(for me)and I was tickled to see how you attached the wires together. Fact is, I did the same thing. I was not about to bother with soldering when a little attention to carefully twisting those ends together works well. Although I admit electrical tape(depending on the brand) can be a pain. Sometimes I use blue masking tape. It doesn't dry out crack and fall off the way the older beige-ish kind does. Anyway, it cool installed and working.
IS there a link for the radio? this is what i need in my car, i hate those large display units with android. Does Carplay disconnect from time to time or refuse to connect?
