Thanks for the review. I liked the ability to remove the screen, but the way that the wire is connected looks like it would be quite the hassle to install every time I wanted to go out in the car. Seems like the only use for sticking it to the radio slot is to use the steering wheel controls? Any other benefits I am missing that just using a tablet as a screen
In a previous video you mentioned that with android auto you could play videos while driving, will this radio do this? I've never messed with android auto.

Hi, i bought the double din version. Having lots of issues. First it stopped opening netflix, youtube, prime video. It worked for a week or so but then i think something updated and locked me out of everything except pandora. Next i just want to complain about front and rear speaker sound quality is poor. Like a duel deck from walmart. Not even close to pioneers adjustable sound crossover, db, and levels adjustments. Lastly how do I get rid of thay huge two tab calender clock on the homescreen. Its very ugly and annoying. Removing the radio one to would be nice.
This kinda thing i wasn't too put in my 68 camaro, and if you've seen where the radio goes the dash slopes up forwards, i feel this kind of adjustable screen would work. Position wise.

There might be a setting for that in the system settings. I have a similar unit to this one and there was a setting that let me use the radio and back up camera at the same time.

Hello good video, are you able to extend cable connections from unit to screen? I have a 70's truck and radio location is not ideal, located under steering wheel. I wouldn't say it's simple but it is doable. So first, off, figure out what kind of cable connection it is. Either contact the company or buy it and Google it till you find it. The 2nd harder option is to make your own wiring harness...cut the cable down the middle and count the number of wires. Then get a similar amount of wires size (doesn't have to be the exact same wirein terms of looks) and Solder the wires together so that the extension is between the display and radio. I know my explanation is a bit tough so if you want me to draw it out for you let me know!

I have a Vanku 7 inch with the exact same 20 Pin Wire Harness, but I can't test it on a battery. I'm assuming red ignition and yellow battery wires are connected to positive (red) black ground connected to negative (black). Any other wires, because I can't make it work?
Mine didnt come with the male end of this so called "Iso" adapter you have there. I noticed you have it and its plugged onto your battery. Where did you find it? I dont want to cut this harness in half incase I want to return it.
@@AllThingsCool I just ened up cutting mine. I couldnt wait. So playing with it a little I really wish I had a remote control for it. My car doesn't have steering wheel controls and I hate reaching for it as I drive. Also I wish it had front and rear speaker frequency adjustments and gain controls. I cant tune my rear, front, and subwoofer at all like my 1998 Pioneer deck with the dolphins. It sounds ok, and not ad loud as my old deck either. So sound quality is ehh, but overall it's just like a android tablet under my dash with not a very good quality sound output. Something like a cheap $20 dollar Duel deck from Walmart. It is fast and does have subwoofer outputs which is halfway a plus. And netflix, RUclips TV, Pandora, Showtime, all work great on it. It's a challenge to type emails and passwords though.
@@blackterminal Na. After replacing this deck 4 times because they built so cheap they all gave out within 4 months. I left bad reviews every time and they sent me there px6 high end model for free for no cost. Just to remove my bad reviews. They sent me a used one that didn't work. I was like WTF. Then they sent me another that worked. But same, within 4 months the sound is turn off randomly. I use my SD card loaded alot with mp4s. Then after 2 weeks of this no sound thing it is powering down randomly, no sound, then sound. Not a good deck at all. Cutting corners on hardware and quality. The andriod 10 software good, but to many bugs. Don't buy if hate rewiring each time and hate returning stuff. Each of there models have different wiring plug so don't cut the iso if you want to avoid rewiring when getting replacements.
In running 2 10s with a punch 1000bd1 off sub rca's and sounds pretty great. Some songs sound way better then others, but i think is because im running everything off of pandora ap off of it, and sound quality is different per song stream. The front and rear speakers are just allright. Not as clear as my old pioneer.

QUESTION: Does the locking mechanism allow for adjusting the screen's up/down placement? If so, by about how much? I ask because I only have a few inches between the top of my single DIN and an overhang from my dash. So I need to place the screen as low as possible.
Sounds like my crown Vic. I have an overhang and don't think I could get this screen on or off. I do have a 10.1 inch now single Din but space is double din my radio fits fine but the screen doesn't rotate or detach
@@mikeeyg1977 Mine is a Lincoln Town Car, which has a similar dash to that of your Crown Vic. At least in my Lincoln, the radio is an odd shape: double DIN toward the front, but with a strange recess reducing the space to single DIN about a few inches from the opening. I've considered buying a shallow double DIN, but I think a single DIN would fit better. I'm between this Vanku and a cheaper single DIN Binize. The difference in price is small and not the main factor. Rather, I just want something that fits properly.
@@gizmochicken5424 Yes Sire pretty much same car except yours is a lot nicer and comfy to drive...haha mine is a 2011 my brother has a 2004 TC I would deffinetly by one, these Panthers are amazing. I have 10.1 binize now the T3 I believe. It's actually pretty nice my LG 40 doesn't mirrior properly but my wife's 1plus7 phone works great on it. Im not liking the eq it has built in. The binize has a great screen and is pretty responsive. I have a few weeks to send it back so im going to mess with it a lil longer but keep looking for a better one. If my phone displayed correct on the binize I would keep it 100% when I'm watching a video and I flip my phone for full screen it also flips on the radio but only does not expand to fully. My wife's phone works flawlessly. Binize said they will try to address it with an update.

Not to be paranoid, but is my personal data and information secured if I sync with this unit? Or is my data, passwords, etc going to be sent to hackers around the world?
Not great but it does have a sub output with separate power adjustment for it. Ive concidered returning mine because sound on front and rear speakers sounds like cheap dual deck from walmart / autozone. Only thing i really use on it these days is my Pandora radio ap, but i always have to turn on my mobile hot spot. Also for some reason. It takes like a minute to start up and start the pandora app and connect to wifi. Gets a little annoying. But sometimes it fires up instantly. I think its a power wire issue for me. Need a better constant.
I just installed the same unit except a double din, the screen and power goes out over every bump... the harness that plugs to the din itself never seems secure... is this common??
haven't had that problem... check the wires in the harness if you might of pulled on them at all when connecting or disconnecting it u might of pulled a wire out of the pin hole
@@AllThingsCool I re checked everything, I guess it's going into some safe mode and needs software work...smh a day off and 7 hours docking around haha... but I'm sending it back... looks great and the removable screen is awesome for ease of install...

Very poor. And every replacement they sent broke withing 4 months. Some just wouldn't turn back on, sound went out randomly, sometimes updated it and couldn't use Netflix anymore and Amazon. They need to use higher quality parts.

no unfortunately I didnt have a vehicle that would accommodate the single din
My only concern about these android stereo is that the tablet do have their own internal battery will it explode in an extreme temputure?

Yes I ordered this system, and installed it on my Harley Davidson. The screen is a rather large, but the unit works as advertised.
