:-) Thanks. I know... it's been a year. And I have a lens comparison video about 90% complete and just waiting to be finished and uploaded, and I haven't had the time to do it. Right now I have a lot more video ideas than I have time. *sigh*
The ATG AK1 Un-Tethered System is simply the best. This has been around for over 10 yrs. It works with many brand of cameras. I returned Case Air back because it's simply DID NOT work on our Hasselblad/Leica/Phase One/Sony/Olympus/Samsung cameras. Even Camranger ($300.00) will not support those cameras listed.
Hi Matthew, A question for you: I see in you video you just tap where you want the camera to focus then the focus box moves there and stays put. On my Canon 60D, I tap where I want to focus, a green focus box moves there momentarily, then a second or two later the focus box moves back to the center of the frame. This happens when I have the AF/MF switch on the lens set to AF. If I switch it to MF (manual focus) the focus box stays put where I tap it but then I can't use the app focusing chevrons on either side of the shutter button to change the focus. I have version 3.0 of the software. Any ideas about why this is happening or any comments on any camera settings that must be setup to make the tether work properly?
Hmm, that's odd. Unfortunately, I haven't upgraded to v3.0 yet, and it wasn't a problem that I ever experienced with my gear during testing. I'll let you know if I run across something while playing around with it, but you'll probably get a faster response from the company itself. Good luck!
Looks good but I've been unable to connect to Case. Error comes back saying SSID not known on their database. Emailed support but as yet no reply which is now three days. Very poor on their part.
Matthew Gore I am looking forward to your reply. can I send live view from my 5dsr to androidphone, with HDMI port and usb3 port, Can case air remote connect my canon eos 5dsr ?
By the way tank you very much for this and all of your videos. I do appreciate the content and quality of every single one of them. You are an inspiration and a huge help for us.
No, as far as I know, these are only Canon and Nikon compatible.... but you might want to check with the manufacturer and see if their updates have added functionality for other cameras since I last checked.
Yes, in theory a good device if you ever receive it I have been waiting for 2.5 months after the dispatch. Been getting the run around "Wait some more" They charged US$15.00 freight for a 0.25 kg consignment , sufficient to cover air freight. They will not advise me who the carrier is. BEWARE !!!!
Rami Daoud That's a good question, and I'd guess that it does, but I don't know. I don't currently have it installed on my canons, so I can't test right now. maybe Monday.
Welcome back to RUclips Matt. You're insane in a positive way for doing these! Thanks heaps mate!
I'm not entirely certain what you mean by that, but I'll take it :-) In fact, I'm pretty sure that I agree. Thanks!
Is the video recording option avaliable for android and tablet or just computer?
it's been so long since you uploaded the last video! welcome back to RUclips haha

Very useful tutorial and very useful that you compare how the Application works on different devices and OSs. Great Job
Thank you !
Glad I could help :-)

Case air with usb3 type cable for eos5dsr,could i buy?
This could be awesome for macro stackers if there was an "infinite" or at least broader number o focus stack shots...
Agreed. I intended to say the same to the manufacturer, but I think it slipped my mind. Will pass this along now.

Do it work with Sony?
No, as far as I know this is only compatible with Canon and Nikon, for now.
Thanks, Do you know when they will come up with Sony?
No, I'm afraid that I don't know when or even IF they will come up with something to make it compatible with Sony.

good review.
Thanks! Didn't think anyone would actually watch this one :-)
