A friend of mine does the opposite. He likes taking a black marker to the chatter bait blade. He said as a avid fisherman that he's had fish attack the flashy blade and he'd miss those bites. He stated this stop happening once he took a marker to his silver blades.
Black n blue evo and chatterspike is killing it for me here in FL. Broke off because I didn’t retie and bought another. Not happening with a jackhammer. Love the blackpack but man I hope to never have to assemble another one lol.
I picked up some of the Ned Gobies. Check this; wacky ring right behind the bulging eyeballs and rig with your favorite Neko hook. I like the mono weedguard wacky hook for dropping in on branchy laydowns.
Glitter Blades! I love glitter blades... Here's why: I often think that having a big, smooth, shiny blade is just too much flash. It's the same idea as hammered blades. I have a bottle of clear nail polish that has a variety of glitter sizes in it, from super-fine almost powdered glitter up to about 1mm pieces. I put that nail polish on all of my smooth, shiny blades. It not only "scatters" the flash, but it reflects a rainbow of colors. In my mind, this causes the bait to have thousands of tiny, multicolored flashes in all directions like a Disco ball rather than looking like a single massive strobe light... It keeps the bait from being too harsh on brighter days, and you never know which little flash of orange, purple, or green is the one that gets the fishes attention.
I picked up a Gobius and some Jackhammers for Black Friday. I didn’t know about the smaller Hellraizer! I have the OG one in black. That bluegill EVO looks too good. Might have to get one a some point.
I've had my Berkley Nessies on order for few months, sort of similar to Cullshad, sort of not. Haven't thrown my Evo's yet, looking like 2024 unfortunately. I can't wait to hear how those goby work for you, they interest me since we have an overabundance of goby in our waters.
Solid haul! I picked up a bunch of the Evos. Can't wait to put them to work next year. The Gobius intrigue me but I'm curious how they'll need to be stored. What's your plan for storage with them?
You arw more than welcome. To be honest, I dont know which one that is. I never saw any difference between V1 and V2. I went to gin clear water and rigged them side by side. They perfeomed exactly the same. What that may mean is, both of them were V2 which was a possibility. I may have bought them so late, I got lucky and got 2 free perfectly good baits! Yay us!
Didn't buy anything during any of the sales. I have found that the magnet in the spro meglajon is worse than the magdraft. Many times I saw the hook flopping around when while the bait was in the cast.
Nice beautiful baits I love them accept for the zman baits I don't like Zman soft plastic baits because they melted with my flukes and ever since I never have bought Zman soft plastic baits
@@aaanglers Its the new z-man creature flipping bait. Looks pretty sick in the water, found out that they're a great jig/chatterbait/spinnerbait trailer as well. I would say I use z-man stuff 75% of the time I'm using a plastic and 50% of the time there's a single hook involved I use their terminal/baits as well. It is durable, it gets bites and not many other people are using it outside of ned rig baits.
Have you picked up any of these products? What are your thoughts?

You should try the z-man bass pro chatter bomb

Good to know, Thanks for sharing the info!
brb bedazzling all my buzzbaits 🎉
@JamFlexx yeah, I do my buzzbaits (except the black blades), chatterbaits, spinnerbaits... Anything with a shiny metal blade.
Caught a musky first few casts with that 8inch cullshad up here in Canada !
Nice!!!
I bought a few Z-Man Jackhammers. And the nose and eyelet had rusted in s short period time. I only used it for this 2023 season.
Havent tried yet, but most of these are on my spring stock up list...

the Berkley Nessie a soft glide bait with good action could be an interesting choice for you to get for the upcoming year.
The Evo chatterbait is every bit as good if not better than a Jackhammer, they start up immediately and look awesome!
"shes a gosh dang'd megalodon" had me rollin 😂😂😂 great baits!! Makes me wanna order the hellraizer
Belly weighted hooks are my favorite way to fish soft plastics, especially in clear water. Going to have to pick up those Z*Man ZWG hooks
I mounted my Visipole to mine to give it an extra foot or two of elevation.
Half hour sweet hack on line lol
I got a 20-3/4” on a 1/2oz spot remover EVO. Safe to say, I’m really excited about them. The chatterspike pairs really well too. I highly recommend.
Nice!
Ya chatterspike is my go to now love the spunk shad but not durable at all

Nice. Thank you. BTW, that display you have there is pretty sick. 👍
Thanks!
Some great looking baits! I don't have any of them, but seriously thinking about getting some of them. Thanks for sharing!
I was gonna buy an Expride this year but American legacy had the imx pro MBR discount to same price so I scored that thanks to you guys.
Do you like 4 carrier or 8 carrier braid for BFS when using 10 lb braid? I see mixed opinions on this subject.
10lb I like the 8 strand personally, I like the 4 strand for 4lb typically
Like to hear about the results. Don't have a yak, so I don't know if it be 8nyetesyef in a backpack. It looks doable.
I’m not sure but I wonder if zman renamed that bluegill cuz I think they had it but it was called goby
Goby looks a lot different compared to this color. I have some
@@aaanglers does it idk y I thought it was like that copper top and blue bottom
I’m fired up for the Chatterspike. I used Hog Farmer Spunk Shads last year and I liked them but the tails break off way too easy.
Solid haul! I picked up a bunch of the Evos. Can't wait to put them to work next year. The Gobius intrigue me but I'm curious how they'll need to be stored. What's your plan for storage with them?
Keeping mine in a zman bag with my plastics
Didya order any of the mulletrons yet?
Not yet…

been wanting to grab a cullshad but still haven’t
