The box included everything NEW they dropped at ICAST 2023. We are excited to put these lures and tools to the test for 2024! In this video we take a closer look at the following new products: Chatterbait EVO, Rattle Snaker, Mulletron LT, Gobius, TRD GobyZ, Chatterspike, and the 4 inch Hellraizer!

That's awesome that Z-Man sent you all that with no caveats! I would like to eventually be able to do that same thing, where I can show new stuff from brands, but without taking sponsorships!
Just need to keep posting content and then ask brands for stuff. Most are open to the conversation. You don't have to guarantee them a positive video. In fact, most brands WANT you to be brutally honest.

Z-man baits are my go to choice. Just really discovered them last year. The elastic stretch is a game changer on not losing baits

I got a chance to use those trd gobyz in sept-oct on lake Ontario and the smallies smashed it like crazy, outperformed the standard trd for me

Anxious to try some of these baits when the weather cooperates. I intend to use the chatter baits way more this season than I did last year. Thanks for the video guys.
Those goby baits are nice! Like you said they can immitate any swiming baitfish. I think these are gonna work well for the walleyes near where i live in the spring. The Deal being one of my fav colors! The baby goat rigged on a 1/4oz-3/8ths oz football head jig. Try it!! Its a crusher! So its got me thinkin when the bite slows or the waters really murky pop a rattle in there and get a few more walters! But i would def cut that dorsal fin off the goby before fishing it. Dorsal fins bug me on minnow baits. They only get in the way of the hook. Although zamn baits are naturally squishy. So it may not be a factor on this one. Thanks for the break down fellas! Fish on!
Love all zman baits and for my fav I got to say the zman frogz. Just because it’s my first zman bait that I used before zman got big. I still have the original packaging of frogz and the were green not blue. Zman = 🔥
Looking forward to hearing more on the cost/benefit ratio of the EVO compared to the Jackhammer and the hellraiser seems like it would be an awesome bite, but I’m a little leery about a low (even for treble hook baits) landing percentage. Don’t mind me while I wait for that vid to come out before investing in the appropriate setup 😆.
Heard alot of boos about the hellraiser,but when you showed the close up maybe if youadded another split ring or swivel and ring to the rear treble that might help increase hook ups

I love the evo and looks of the chatterspike cant wait to fish them in the spring
Z-Man naming convention is almost on par with Reaction Innovations.
You can take the split ring off the line tie on the hell raizer and add it to the other split ring on the rear to have that rear treble hang down lower and get better hook ups

Of course as soon as you 2 start playing hard to get they come running. Good for you. Got to love free stuff and Zman is great stuff at that
I use the gobies in salt water. We actually have saltwater gobies in Florida. I catch em in the cast net all the time.

Keep plastic on the gobius while it’s on your pole as well, that tail gets kinked up if it’s really hot in just a few mins if. Ent and left in direct sun, there’s a way you can use the clamshell and put it on your hook keeper on your pole- on all of their swimbaits that come in individual clamshells
I've been throwing the coppertreuse goby on a ned head the last couple of outings. No hits yet here in wintery New England, but that thing looks like it should get me SOMETHING sooner or later. No one can resist coppertreuse for too long.

I like the zman bait I have got and trying to get more just hard to get around where I live so I have to order some of the bait but I just like being able to look it in person
I wanna pick that rattle shaker up but I wanna try to push the rattle in but take it out to put that hole in the tail say like a trick worm to see if it’ll help float the tail and get a bubble trail

The tail of mulettron looks like an exact copy of savage gear pulse tail.
Close, but again, it’s a wedge tail. So anyone who makes a wedge tail is copying the first wedge tail. Savage Gear has a channel in the middle of the tail.
You know the jackhammer also had the weight on it ? Right? It may not be as bold- but it’s there

We are not… at this moment. It sounds rad, it’s just a little too specific for us. BUT, we have been known to change our minds 😂
I sometimes shy away from Zman because they don’t play well with corkscrew keepers.
Shove a toothpick or spinnerbait hook in first. Goes in like butter after.
I just bought some of those Chatterbait EVO; wondering what you guys think is better for them…ChatterSpike or RaZor Shad?
Haven't fished the chatterspike yet, but I can almost guarantee it will be my go to this year.

I know some guys in the tourscene that soak finesse trds in scent. Not sure why powerbait would be any different
If it’s water based then no. Elaztech wont accept water based scents. That’s why they use Pro-cure on their baits. It’s oil based.
Awesome that zman sent an awesome box of goodies. I've got a spinner bait that has grey painted and glitter blades and have caught a lot of fish on it.

I know, im used to it in plastics obviously, not on blades. But we will flip around and find out this year!

Z-man Hellraizer is caca bait. When it first came out, I bought all the colors. Used one and never caught anything. Im now selling them on ebay unopened.

Why does evergreen get zero love for the chatterbait, why does everyone say Zman chatterbait when it’s Evergreen who makes the components, the swim jig itself..they make arguably the best swim jig I believe Zman just took that and put a blade on it- correctly me if I’m wrong. I just think evergreen should get a lot more spotlight than they should and I’m sure they’re a little fed up w never getting any recognition when people discuss the jackhammer- if they had just 10% of the recognition I think it really would’ve boosted the company’s growth the last some 10odd years the jackhammers been out
Not a big fan of Z man soft plastic baits because of the melting other soft plastic baits I bought Z man baits one tim and only one's z man are not for me I prefer Ozark trail baits and lures and StrikeKing and zoom and big bite baits and yum yum soft plastic 👍🎣
