I use the Samson Q2U for my podcast without a xlr and have been very satisfied with the sound.

@@DoubleAction357I just received the same microphone, do you use USB? I’m thinking of making videos in the middle of the woods with it connected to my iPhone 12 Pro Max recording me. I don’t know how good this mic is outdoors
@@soulja617 while I do use it connected via USB to my PC with no issues. The cable provided is only USB-A to USB-B I do not believe it will connect to your iPhone. (To be fair I do not have a iphone though)

Rode Podmic served me well for the last 2 years. Just recently upgraded but if your main goal is podcasting/radio, it's a great starting dynamic mic. If not for my needs shifting and my skills maturing, I'd still use it

I'm planning to get the Q2u...but the Rode sounds very good.
Behringer xm8500 is 20$ and i think its awesome for the value the problem is you need a boom arm and audio mixer but any audio mixer will work with it
It’s like the conversation was getting so good between them 2 and then these 2 goofs that can’t contain there emotions and be respectful! couldn’t just realize that those 2 was havin a fire convo and kept getting in front of the camera and being disrespectful 🤦🏾♂️ what a shame!!!!
If i was too make one today I would go with the audio technica I don't like the q2u and I do have a podmic but has a love hate relationship with it
Guys, both mics are still giving 'plosives...the 2100 and q2u still need to be angled 30-40 degrees...NOT directly in front.

how did you get your mic to power on using the xlr hook up
i have xlr but when its plugged in, of course to power, there's no green light
