The ROM sounds - the stock sounds that cannot be replaced - YES - you can edit them on the pad/bank of a project and IT WILL SAVE TO THE PROJECT - but it won't overwrite the original sound in the library... If you mean the demo songs (also ROM - long audio loops), I don't see a way to do that.

man these instrumentals sound really fun to mess around with on the go but i do worry about the lesser user sample memory space and the versatility. do you have any recommendation for which EP to purchase as a starter or are the differences for the most part negligible, having the same workflow? thanks for the video 🙏🏼
I definitely recommend the "less opinionated" EP-133 as a starting point... I've had lots of fun with that device and take it traveling now every trip... it's just easy and inspiring. The differences lie mostly in the core sounds and the EP-133 not only comes with a more general set of samples, they can ALL be switched out, giving you more memory to decide which sounds matter to you.
100% go with the EP-133
@SONWU has spoken! (nice to see you here!)
thanks for talking some sense into me folks, the thoughts of a bardcore gimmick impulse buy were frankly perverse 😂 finally pulled the trigger on the K.O. II and having the time of my life 🙂↔️
It's cool! but selling another nearly identical hardware mostly based on the sound set is a wasteful precedent. The "Candy Store Synths" trend shouldn't be encouraged. 4:55 "Need to Own"? No, if you already have the previous machine.
The “need” part is definitely tongue in cheek… GAS issues for the collector
It's fine. If you want to blow 300 bucks on a new colorway and sound set then good for you. I would if I had more disposable income.
I heard an interview with the chief designer of KO2 over a TE. When talking about the OG Ko2 he mentioned there is a dual core MCU chip inside the OG version which is half used out the box.. and I assumed then it would be for nice big updates of software over time. Can anyone else confirm I wasn’t tripping when I heard this? And that indeed there is an empty chip waiting for firmware updates which may add some of the new features this new medievil on has? Otherwise that’s super disappointing from them
For context the interview is here and he mentions at 13:00 mark the Dual Core MCU which is only half used here.

hadn't heard this... but interesting if true
Stonehenge by Spinal Tap Medieval disco cover anyone?
Oh please! So many medieval remixes in the works I hope!
This should've been released on 1st April 😅
I'm just getting around on EP 133, now a Benny Hill series.
Ha! Hmmm. Maybe A Benny Hill themed EP is an idea 💡
This would be a cool sample pack. But they've put a sample pack into an instrument and put a $299 price tag on it. That's devious af
fair, but if you don’t have the EP-133 it certainly has some fun features
im just gonna rip all these and put them in a REAL sampler. Thanks!
Don’t forget the rooster
Cute idea, but for that crazy price they should have included a larger memory for user sample, I mean seriously it's 2024
takes you back to the middle ages
@@Neoplasma I do kinda klike it, but it's crazy ha ha
hmmm concerned about the companion app issue
All Good! I just didn’t have access when I recorded the video…
