*He pushed me (lahadani) in the chest (fi sadri) with a push (lahdatan) that causes me pain (awja'atni).
Although this pressing of the chest has caused "Aisha, may Allah bless her, some pain but it was not intended as beating before, it was only to ward off the wrong thought that had come to her heart.

I advise you to read the Qur'an to get to know more about this wonderful book. . Regardless of whether you are not a Muslim, this book can change your whole life for the better
I grew up Christian and I’ve recently started researching Islam because I’ve always been curious about the religion. I grew up with kids that were Muslim and I’ve always had mad respect for the religion and community. If you are wondering how this makes Allah a Mushrik and a Kafir, the answer is simple: By accepting Muhammad’s Intercession Allah is actually encouraging his followers to turn to a Creature for Salvation, thereby violating his very own instructions as found in both the Quran and specific ahadith.
In other words, Allah is actually encouraging and promoting shirk!

I just want to add that this is one of the main tenants of Islamic life philosophy. The idea is to keep striving to be better everyday using small but consistent efforts and to not let setbacks torment you as human are not perfect beings by nature. Secondly and most importantly is to be grateful for all states that afflict you whether good or bad because you will never be burdened with more than you can bear. To have mercy and love for yourself as God has mercy and love for you.
As a Muslim, Hijabi, and Athlete I am super proud of you, and may Allah continue to protect and guide you to the straight path iA!! This clearly contradicts the assertion of the Christian Fathers that women do not possess souls and that they will exist as sexless beings in the next life. The Qur'an says that women have souls in exactly the same way as men.
Additionally the Prophet said:
"The best property a man can have is a remembering tongue (about Allah), a grateful heart and a believing wife who helps him in his faith." And again: "The world, the whole of it, is a commodity and the best of the commodities of the world is a virtuous wife."
These are the proof of the importance of women in Islam. Please share real sources..

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. This pastoral office of Peter and the other apostles belongs to the Church's very foundation and is continued by the bishops under the primacy of the Pope. (Catechism 881)
The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter's successor, "is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and of the whole company of the faithful." "For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered." (Catechism 882)
Jesus is the Rock, As Peter Believed he was the Rock that the Church is Built upon:
To whom coming, as unto a living STONE, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief CORNER STONE, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the STONE which the builders disallowed, the same is made the HEAD OF THE CORNER, And a STONE of stumbling, and a ROCK of offence. 1 Peter 2:4-8
Paul also believed Jesus is the Rock that the Church is Built upon:
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that ROCK was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:4

And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. Acts 10:25-26

Also there is no such thing as a purgatory Catechism 1030-1031 says:
All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven. (Catechism 1030)
The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. The Church formulated her doctrine of faith on Purgatory especially at the Councils of Florence and Trent. The tradition of the Church, by reference to certain texts of Scripture, speaks of a cleansing fire. (Catechism 1031)
Only ETERNAL Hellfire:
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with UNQUENCHABLE FIRE. Matthew 3:12
And Celebratung Mass (eating Jesus's Flesh and Drinking his Blood) is not necessary for Salvation as Catechism 1406-1407 says:
'Jesus said: "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; . . . he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and . . . abides in me, and I in him" (Jn 6:51, 54, 56).
The Eucharist is the heart and the summit of the Church's life, for in it Christ associates his Church and all her members with his sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving offered once for all on the cross to his Father; by this sacrifice he pours out the graces of salvation on his Body which is the Church. (Catechism 1406-1407)'
As eating his Flesh is only Spiritual as Jesus said:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. John 6:47-48
Because The Flesh Profits nothing:
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth NOTHING: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63
Also Bowing down and Venaratung Images is wrong which you do according to Catechism 2132:
The Christian veneration of images is not contrary to the first commandment which proscribes idols. Indeed, "the honor rendered to an image passes to its prototype," and "whoever venerates an image venerates the person portrayed in it." The honor paid to sacred images is a "respectful veneration," not the adoration due to God alone. (Catechism 2132)

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me Exodus. 20:4-5
Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 26:1
Prayng to Saints is also wrong which you do according to Catechism 956:
The intercession of the saints. "Being more closely united to Christ, those who dwell in heaven fix the whole Church more firmly in holiness. . . . They do not cease to intercede with the Father for us, as they proffer the merits which they acquired on earth through the one mediator between God and men, Christ Jesus. . . . So by their fraternal concern is our weakness greatly helped." (Catechism 956)
Because it is Praying to the Dead.
It is Necromancy:
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a NECROMANCER. Deuteronomy 18:11
And only the Spirit makes Intercession for us:
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27
To put in a Nutshell,
Being a Catholic is Antibiblical.

Lo! your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then He established Himself upon the Throne, directing all things. THERE IS NO INTERCESSOR (WITH HIM) save after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Oh, will ye not remind? S. 10:3
But Mohammad is also your Intercessor:
When I see Him, I will fall down in prostration before Him, and will remain in prostration as long as He will, and then He will say, ‘RAISE YOUR HEAD, O MUHAMMAD, AND SPEAK, FOR YOU WILL BE LISTENED TO, AND INTERCEDE, FOR YOUR INTERCESSION WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND ASK, FOR YOUR REQUEST WILL BE GRANTED.’ (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 97, Number 532

If you are wondering how this makes Allah a Mushrik and a Kafir, the answer is simple: By accepting Muhammad’s Intercession Allah is actually encouraging his followers to turn to a Creature for Salvation, thereby violating his very own instructions as found in both the Quran and specific ahadith.
In other words, Allah is actually encouraging and promoting shirk!

I'm a revert (born and raised Christian) and immediately starting wearing hijab and dressing more modestly after taking shahada. It was an adjustment weeding out certain clothes, shoes, etc, but ironically, I feel so much more liberated and at peace in my hijab, still 3 years in, Alhamdulillah. @@lindamakhoba Honestly, as I got older, I started seeing a lot of holes in Christianity, and no one could confidently answer my questions I had about those discrepancies, but that wasn't the case with Islam. Fundamentally, there's lots of things that didn't make any sense in Christianity to me, so that was a big part of it. That, and Islam just felt so all encompassing and solid as a religion and a lifestyle. Hope that answers your question!
