@@hanna4107 from what I have been learning about Islam is that in a Hadith it states that music & songs are Haram. Meaning it is forbidden (not permissible) to listen to. The only thing that is allowed to listen to is Nasheeds. Nasheeds are like songs but they don’t have any musical instruments all it has is lyrics that resembles hymns that praise Allah (God):)

I heard so many awful things (many of which turned out to be false) but as I have seen your journey and educated myself I have come to realize how beautiful it actually is. My 5 non-negotiables are : - Reading 1 juz' (part) from the Qur'an everyday. - going to the mosque for Taraweeh prayer once a week (as I'm extremely introvert). - Doing a number of zikr everyday (to train myself on not forgetting them after Ramadan or being lazy, zikr is highly important). - watching an Islamic/historic podcast or a lesson/lecture everyday. - training myself on not putting even one drop of makeup while I'm out the house 🗿which demands sticking to a really good daily skincare routine. A little piece of information. Scientists today have discovered that fasting is a cure for many diseases, such as cancer that feeds on sugars. Doctors today offer intermittent fasting as a prescription for treatment. In addition to this, scientifically, the stomach needs to take an annual rest from food, and the wisdom of the month is that this period is sufficient for the body to heal. I am talking about the blessing of Islam❤️🕋
I will make sure that I’m still making every prayer time & just sitting there and making dua ❤ try to keep the same routine, but do very light movement and try to eat lots of nutritious meals and hydrate!

Yess I agree our parents have always taught us Ramadan is not only for our souls but for our bodies.. but they would always focus more on their prayers and soul related worshiping but totally ignore their bodies and that taking care of their body is a great type of worship too!!

Great points. Also worth mentioning the significance is we believe it’s the month where the Quran was revealed that’s why it’s a holy month for us. All other points good about remmeberance and betterment
Music is not Haram in Islam. If it contains a positive message and not the tyipical lust inducing music. But in Ramadan, you shouldn't listen to music nor do activities that create a lot of dopamine. Because to fast in Ramadan, is not only about food.
Ramadan Mubarak! I’m so glad you mentioned not giving up your daily life while fasting/getting closer to our lord. Last year I wanted to continue to go to the gym during Ramadan but I felt pressured to solely focus on watching lectures and making prayers on time. This year, I’m dedicated to incorporating both fitness and religious goals in my day to day routines P.S guys please listen to Leana and do NOT train while fasting 😂 go in the morning or after your break your fast.

Hi, I am from India. How do u manage your sleep routine or resting routine this month? I want to know when u will train and when u will take a rest ( I will share my experience during Ramadan 1st I used to train before Suhur and I used to offer my morning prayer after that I used to sleep for some time but it became tougher for me to follow the same routine for the next Ramadan and I started to train during fast that's when I woke up after having a sleep after fajr for some time and I used to offer my johar prayer followed by reciting of Quran) and I used to train at a minimal level during Ramadan I will not go heavily on my training. At night will get 3 to 4 hours of sleep.
Last year i decided to wearing hijab and prayer. This step of my life made me being closer to Allah. Alhamdulillah every Ramadan will remind me how i won victory over my nafs🤍 Ramadan Mubarak my sisters and brothers!🌙

I think you need to fast for at least 24 hours to achieve meaningful autophagy.

Great points. Also worth mentioning the significance is we believe it’s the month where the Quran was revealed that’s why it’s a holy month for us. All other points good about remmeberance and betterment
Music is not Haram in Islam. If it contains a positive message and not the tyipical lust inducing music. But in Ramadan, you shouldn't listen to music nor do activities that create a lot of dopamine. Because to fast in Ramadan, is not only about food.

Ramadan Mubarak! I’m so glad you mentioned not giving up your daily life while fasting/getting closer to our lord. Last year I wanted to continue to go to the gym during Ramadan but I felt pressured to solely focus on watching lectures and making prayers on time. This year, I’m dedicated to incorporating both fitness and religious goals in my day to day routines
P.S guys please listen to Leana and do NOT train while fasting 😂 go in the morning or after your break your fast.

How do u manage your sleep routine or resting routine this month? I want to know when u will train and when u will take a rest
( I will share my experience during Ramadan 1st I used to train before Suhur and I used to offer my morning prayer after that I used to sleep for some time but it became tougher for me to follow the same routine for the next Ramadan and I started to train during fast that's when I woke up after having a sleep after fajr for some time and I used to offer my johar prayer followed by reciting of Quran) and I used to train at a minimal level during Ramadan I will not go heavily on my training. At night will get 3 to 4 hours of sleep.
