AEV bumpers are amazingly engineered. Maybe not the quickest to assemble/disassemble, 😅 but crazy well made. And that winch is awesome! Nicely done gentlemen!
Interesting new winch! Looks like a premium tier product that tries to rival the Zeon Platinum. I like it has a smaller body than the Zeon! Is there any meanings/implications to the name SOLO?
The Zeon is a great winch. A few of the things that sold me on the ComeUp are the external brake and the thermal warning when the winch is becoming too hot. During long trips with multiple days on the trail, I cannot have the winch fail.
I believe you are right about being the most expensive bumper on the market, but it is the only non-Mopar front bumper that you can order your Jeep from the factory with. Maybe another brand bumper will be better in a single category, but overall this bumper has great clearance as both a stubby and full width, it offers protection for the radiator, is the only bumper made using hot-stamped Boron steel, and is designed with safety in mind to perform great in a crash.

I asked Jon. He assumed the name is possibility referring to “solo” recoveries. Nothing technical. 👍

It fits very well. I would like to change the hook so it will fit behind the front plate. I am told ComeUp is working on a solution.
