Can you make more videos of your sonex? Also if you ever get a chance to talk to the guys at sonex, ask em about a tandem 2 seater or side by side with folding wings? I would love this option and idk if others are in this boat as well! Awesome videos btw!
Thanks! Mark did say there were more designs coming out in the next few years, no telling what. The Sonerai 2s were tandem, so maybe a modern metalized version? The Onex has folding wing sections while the Subsonex and High Wing have removable wing sections. As far as fully folding wings like a Kitfox, no idea.
Definitely more coming on my Sonex. I had a 2+ hour conversation with Mark, only about half way through it. Anything in particular you'd like to see?
@@LeftSeatAdventures I was hoping for a oneX design with the semi folding wings but for 2 people. If i could just store the plane at my house instead of worrying about a tie down would be the best thing ever. Then i save money there and I can fly more lol.
@@LeftSeatAdventures I am honestly not sure what kind of content I would like to see but sonex content is definitely missing from online. I know you bought you's second hand but going over the panel and if you plan any upgrades would be cool. I know some people choose hand held radios especially for those small panels but some get one in the panel. as I come up with ideas I'll let you know! nothing comes to mind right now but it has in the past when going into the sonex rabbit hole lol.

While I too am looking forward to some more videos on your Sonex, these have been just as informative and entertaining to watch. Doesn’t hurt that Mark is a fabulous representative for Sonex, seems like a real easy person to talk to and deal with.
Yup, it was a great conversation with Mark, I'd do another one anytime. I actually have about 3 more segments coming including one on buying used Sonex aircraft. Trying to get the rest out this week, starting to get a backlog of content.
