    it seems like higher AC frequency settings have a similar effect as high speed pulse does on DC.
    In this video, I show a few different welds using different AC frequency settings and also compare clear cups to pink cups.
    I used the primeweld TIG325x for this video and am really enjoying welding with it.

    Hey, Jody. Fantastic live event you did on WelderSkills app yesterday with Brad. Really cool how the Australian listener was able to interact so much. He sounded just like a welder I’ve seen on YT and wonder if it’s the same guy. The two most memorable parts was the detail (or caveat) about using rolocs and the way to cool while cutting aluminum. I fully intend to ask questions once I get a little more welding practice under my belt. I’ve just finished getting my garage set up with practically everything I could need (including PrimeWeld Tig) and I’ve been watching tons of videos whenever I’m free and can’t be in my garage.
    By the way, I’m also a huge fan of TimWelds. He has some great courses for when you’re just getting started. My other favorite is “The Old Tony”, mostly because the guy is a gifted comedian.

    Hey Jody - Will you ever be featuring your Miller 220 in a video ever again? I know you're trying to sell the PrimeWeld machines, but I miss seeing your Miller 220 in action. If I'm not mistaken, I think you have two of those machines.

    Only tangentially related to this video, but I use a refillable spray bottle for acetone.
    I’ve been told that this is a bad idea.
    What are your thoughts on this?

    How can the cup be ac or dc?

    • @that.chill.speedsofter1445
      @that.chill.speedsofter1445 23 дня назад

      I don't know if this is serious or a joke. But I'll respond as if it were serious. The cup is not running any kind of current. You switch you machine as normal, and that cup may be better for the conditions and material you're working on

    • @weldingtipsandtricks
      @weldingtipsandtricks  23 дня назад +3

      Some cups are not recommended for AC due to diffuser screen arcing
