as someone with their first yeast infection and who just bought vaginal cream, thank you so much for this video! was really worried on how to clean the applicator since the box said there was only 1
I can not use soaps as they have fragrance in them which gives me yeast infection, If I use just hot water I end up with bacterial vaginitis, So another solution please
If you are using a new applicator, do you have to wash the applicator before using it? My applicators are placed in one single packaging bag, I am not sure if its sanitary. Thank you!
You insert the plunger into the barrel and snap in place. To which end you insert the plunger? The barrel has a flat end (where you insert the plunger into) and a rounded end with threading marks inside, which will screw on to the tube of preparation you use.
Any soap?? Can I use Dawn Ultra dishwashing liquid? I saw this on a women's forum site where a woman washed her applicators with Dawn, because the estradial cream was difficult to clean and Dawn cleaned her applicators thoroughly without any residue.
@@TigerEyes360 Excluding detergents, a mild dishwashing soap should work. The key is proper brushing of the applicator's barrel to remove all residue, and to properly rinse out (and brush a bit more) to remove any soap residue. No need to scrub or sterilize, only to thoroughly clean it.
Hello so after placing the applicator inside. It says to put it in as far as possible and push the product in. Should I slide out the applicator while doing this or do I just push everthing into one spot?
Saurekatini Tangi On my medications instructions it says squeeze the medication into the tube until the plunger stops for itself and that 5g but it looked like a lot but then again I’m not good at eyeball measurements, hope that helps, if you find out let me know lol
S Baso Mtimkulu my doctor told me to do it half way, it’s enough for the tube if you use it full and when you go toilet in the morning some of the cream would come out. Which was true because before I went doctors to tell them I had no measurements on the tube I’ve been using it full and when I go bathroom in the morning the cream would just come out. But after using it half way it was good. So half way is the perfect solution.
does anyone know if this estrogen cream balances out the ph level of vaginal itching ? first in the beginning I had symptoms of infection. They tried 4 antibiotics and none helped .I am almost 53 but still get my period .this started 4 months ago and the antibiotics took away some symptoms but the itching still is going on its driving me insane so my obgyn gave me an estrogen cream to try. anyone know if it works?ty
Best if you discuss your questions with the attending OBGYN as medical advice is not available via this platform nor are diagnostic tests possible. That said, vaginal estrogen may help with some itching due to dryness after infection/antibiotics. YOu may also want to consider/discuss with your doctor probiotics and/or vaginal moisturizers.
I couldn't use it because I thought the applicator was too big for me. I really struggled trying to insert with the applicator. I experience some irritations. Is there something wrong?
I agree. She may also need to try holding the applicator at a different angle, &/or putting body in a different position. For me, laying down helps relax the muscles & makes the insertion less painful.
Stop being condescending and just answer peoples question. I think a more informative approach would to be to ask what is she referring to, and if it's the aftermath of reusing a washed applicator, let the women know as long as it's washed thoroughly than it will not.
This is a video of how to use an applicator, not a patient demo (or we'd use gloves). Genital hygiene and common sense should always be exercised when managing the genitals.
I have a question. On my first day using it, it’s also my first time putting something in the vagina. It hurted. Second day, it went in easily and made no mess, third day it hurted again. Am I doing something wrong. Did I insert it in the wrong hole?
Dear MidnightFrost, if you know your anus (back hole), then you know not to insert it there. The 'other' hole is the urethra but it is too small to accommodate the vaginal applicator so it should not be a concern either. That leaves you with the vagina, the 'right' hole... That said, consult with your obgyn if in doubt, and also to find out if you have vaginismus that would prevent easy vaginal insertions.
I struggled because I haven't inserted anything there before. I thought the applicator was too big. I also had irritations and I ended up not using it.

Glad to have been of help.
How much have to take for once?
Thank you so much! There were no pre-filled monistat and I had to buy the tube with empty applicators; I was wondering how I was going to fill them🤣👍🏿

Where can I find a small brush for the cleaning? Thank you
You can just get an eyebrow brush from wherever you they sell cosmetics, cheap and simple!
Hi can I help you
Get some drinking straw brushes to clean your applicator. You can get them online. I use one & it works great.
An excellent idea as well. Thanks.
Thank you so much 💛
Thank you.

CAROLYN THOMASON hello me too i use dr bronners unscented pure castile soap it has no dyes or frangeances it’s natural
Use unscented, hypoallergenic products. And note that you need not wash the vagina itself, only the vulva (between the genital lips).
Dr. Bronner is one of the recommended products.
How do I know how much to use? If the applicator doesn’t have the number measurements on it .
If it is medication, speak with your doctor/prescriber. If lubrication/moisturizer, follow box directions.
If you are using a new applicator, do you have to wash the applicator before using it? My applicators are placed in one single packaging bag, I am not sure if its sanitary. Thank you!
The vagina is not a sterile environment (the penis does not wash before intercourse) but, never hurts to wash the new applicator beforehand.
Nice video😮😢
Thank you. Please share.
How do I rejoin the applicator after washing?
You insert the plunger into the barrel and snap in place. To which end you insert the plunger? The barrel has a flat end (where you insert the plunger into) and a rounded end with threading marks inside, which will screw on to the tube of preparation you use.
thanks for this video. now i can use mine without any problem
You are most welcome! This was the reason behind posting the video.
Looking for a mild liquid soap that is mild to clean this applicator. What brand are you using?
You can use any soap provided you rinse it off promptly. The plastic applicator does not absorb the soap thus the indifference. Hoping this helps.

Thank you
Please refer to the product's instructions for how to use it.
If I use a new applicator without washing? Is this right ?
If it is sealed, then yes. Otherwise, suggesting you wash it first.

Deposit the content all at once into one spot, then pull out the empty applicator.
Mam can we walk and pee after insertion of the gel immediately
Yes, you can.
best video
Thank you. Please share with others.
does q tips work too?
Yes, a Q-tip can work too but may call for a bit more scrubbing to get the applicator properly cleaned.
My doc said to take 5g of it ... how do i know till what quantity it is 5g as no numbers have been mentioned on the tube
The applicator should be marked. If not, speak with your doctor.
Sumaiyah Sultan I don’t have a mark on mine and it said use 5g as recommended as well
This is what I want to know too

You need to ask your doctor about it.
Only 1 time.only in night
Can we use this in periods?
An applicator is safe to use during the period unless your doctor told you otherwise; check with them.
No
Yes

Can I wash mine with dial antibacterial soap?
Any soap will do as long as you rinse it thoroughly.
Do you ever use alcohol?
Hi. Before each application do I wash out my vagina (stick finger and clean out the rest of gel before applying new)
Thank you
There is really no reason the 'clean' the vagina. It will absorb what you insert, and the rest will eventually come out of you.
I have too much irritation... Can I use it??? Becoz my doc remomeded during pregnancy but nw m not pregnant!!! So I use it???
Ask your doctor what to do.
Dr i have a doubt dr prescription this but i don't know where to use .the cream should be insert the vagina?
Please discuss your questions with the doctor who prescribed.
Thankyou but please don't waste water

I did all the steps and omg its burning bad i cant stop touching cuss it burns what does that mean ?
Our video explains how to use an applicator. For medication management/reactions, please consult with your healthcare provider (doctor).
@@Womentc If you have burning, maybe you have scratched the effected area previously and the skin is broken.
@@SharleenParker Even if you scratch the area, it should quickly heal. And, an applicator rare scratches being that its tip is smooth and rounded.

How to insert? Just slide it into your vagina. There is no other way.

Can i use it in pregnence
That will depend on what your OBGYN says so speak with him/her.
