I think it has alot of potential for fishing in Missouri where I am. But if you live near oceans an if you do crab fishing you can store the traps on top of roof, an put crab puller off the walls. Just put down non skid and tie downs on roof. The forward cabin down below, I have to admit I really wasn't a huge fan and it hurts me to say that about a Bering boat. Great speed and fuel per nm, that's a big plus today with fuel prices and the sea trials watching the water spray from under the front a forth of the way back. You know that boat has it where it should be and well thought out. Just needs a better cabin layout and please make more room for it if possible. I noticed that the kitchen table drops to make a small bed. But I don't think if you take 3 or 4 fishing buddies out for a over night due to lack of beds they will be to happy. But for a couple with a skinny guy or kid sleeping on the table, it's perfect for that. The helm, great layout with that seat, I didn't see anything I'd change an the protection for switches on right of steering wheel is nice to see. An great to see a port seat for extra set of eyes to sit for spotting hidden stuff under the water surface. The older I get the more I need extra set of good eyes to help me see things in the water. Growing up near the Mississippi river, you want a steel hull on your board. My buddy, his dad an uncle were coming back home and he was task with watching out for floating logs under the water surface and all of a suddened a huge tree trunk 30 plus feet long pops straight up from the muddy Mississippi water and barely missed punching a 3 foot diameter hole in the front of their boat and then it got sucked back down just as fast as it appeared an the prop found the top of the limbs of that huge tree and it bent a couple of their blades on prop. With it shaking bad they reduced the speed an finally got back but my buddy didn't ever want to be the bow look out after that night. They all seen that tree pop up and got sucked back under the water. I'm sure it wouldn't make much difference in the metal against a full size tree like that and it would have sunk the boat if it got hit by flipping boat over. Scares me to think about it and they was trying to get back before storm an flood got any worse. The Mississippi river and Alot of other big rivers like this around me here deserve full respect and I can see myself on this boat fishing that river just south of St Louis where the Missouri river adds to it. They have monster catfish right there and if you don't have 300lb test or better on your pole your line will snap, just saying. That river has huge fish and in past few years bull sharks are swimming up from the gulf of Mexico all the way to Chicago area. I love fishing for the big ones, an you truly need a fighting chair hard mounted to the back deck for when you get hooked up on one of the 600 lb monsters because they are there. An I appreciate seeing the 7 pole holders off the back upper roof deck. Sorry this is long but I had to add the Mississippi river story in because alot of us don't live close to any ocean but we sure have some great fishing in our big rivers and smaller ones too. Depends on weather an how far your willing to drive from your home, an how bad your wanting to fish. I've fished from an all aluminum boat with lightning hitting all around on the land. We were catching crappie so fast we was tossing them in the floor to cast again and bam got another one within only a few seconds. We had alot of people yelling at us to get off the water now. We stopped few minutes later to find out we got our limit and we only got there 30 minutes before that and half that time we spent getting to that spot. I Love Fishing, they always said I'd die holding one of my fishing poles in my hand and I hope they are right. Take care my fishing and boating brothers. Take care of each other and share the love.

To give the alumium hull extra protection, with a waterline equally provided with 20mm thickness of Stainless Steel Ice Protection belt around the two hulls of the Catamaran too. It would be interesting, to knowing Bering Ychat Builders, could built a BM 34 Catamaran or 46 feet Catamaran Explorer Cruiser. That is for light (5 inches to 15 inches) ice covered inland waterways and coastal waters, whether in Northern Europe or North America too?
where id HOT2LIVE errr HOWE2LIVE 's cat KRAKIN goto??? is this THAT??? or is this something else??? is this the SAME BERING that NAUTIpeeps gettin their new boat from??? ALEXI (sp?) over in TURKEY??? ??? sure is a neet little boat...
I want a small affordable boat that can take it like a man - IOW's cross the ocean safely with full provision space and a water maker -------> these are little boy boats just barely able for a week long vacation
Could the BM34, be fitted with Electric Outboard Motors, plus rechargeable battery energy packs, replacing the fuel tanks, with maybe a backup diesel electric generator to recharge the battery energy packs. Though with Solar Electric Panels, equally recharging the battery energy packs, maybe a VAWT's to recharge the battery energy packs as well?
Planing, foiling cats need to be kept light. 600HP diesel generators are anything but. Even in the Turkish summer sun, it would take about a year of solar charging per nautical mile to power this at 40 knots. Hybrid solutions, which allows for emissions/soot free travel within a certain range of "populated" shore, just about may make some sense for dirty-as-a-coal-mine commercial ships. But for already clean, modern leisure boats, faffing about with battery weirdness, is just a complete waste. ICEs are already efficient and clean burning, at the sort of constant, high'ish load common in marine application. Dense-city stop and go car traffic is a different matter. But for boats, just stop the madness already.
I was a little disappointed as I thought this was from the same company that makes the explorer yachts but still a cool, rugged and useful concept all the same. I could see these cutting into the likes of what the Scandinavians have to offer in their purpose built boats from Sargo, Botnia Targa and Nord Star to name a few. This one looks like it could use a bit more refinement in its materials but maybe thats what theyre going for. Bigger fridge would be better and the layout of the main cabin could have a little more thought put into it other than just a big mattress but thats just me. Otherwise I love the concept of the boat and the little platform out back between the motors as well as the catamaran styled hull. Thanks for bringing the content to us living vicariously through you! Cheers!
The most immediately obvious benefit of cats for leisure "cruising" boats, is they roll less at anchor and low/trolling speed. Easier to fish from, among other things, in any kind of sea.
I think the Scandies will want water tanks, plumbing and appliances below, or close to it, the waterline, during winter. Cats; doubly so light, aluminium, ones; aren't really ideal for cold climates. I don't strictly think must-be-kept-clean foils are ideal in the marine growth sludge that is the Eastern Med/Turkey either.... But for Western Med, and Atlantic European use; I can totally see this having a niche. Water Temps and conditions (in Atlantic Europe) being closer to South Africa (Hysucats birthplace, unless I'm wrong), lends some credence to such suitability as well. The South African Cape is not a forgiving place for light boats.
Good job Yacht Buoy, the perfect little boat for my neck of the woods, the Sacramento Delta to the San Francisco Bay Area and up and down the California coast. I even think I could single hand this boat. Even though I was on a US Navy cruiser for two years I was a radarman and have almost no small boat handling experience. And as a former radarman, I agree, raise that radar up on a mast for better results.
I hate yamaha... when I was 15 years old I bought a yamaha dirt bike a DT 250 - it ran like gangbusters for 2 miles, and then it died and I had to push it 2 miles home - multiple times. I would never trust a Yamaha as my main engine 500 miles out and your POS yo-mamma-ha ha ha dies?????????? And it is aways stupid shit like a wire that was not routed right and vibration wore a hole and it grounded out - sure it is an easy fix, but still your engine dies at the worst time - in a storm This is 1970ish Yo-MammaHAHAHA, but it tells you honda and suzuki focused on reliability - never a problem with stupidity or cheapness with other rice burners
Bare with me, another 3' beam and 4' length. And a very, very secret, well hidden weapons storage, compartment, airtight w/Febreze or Ozium shot when certain radio frequencies are detected. And panic button. Safety first. Long range, multi bladder fuel tanks fitted, smallest MTU multi-fuel oh yes! Small mast with crows. Huh? This is greatly designed for anything the Sea throws at her and ports of call also with my upgrades. Walk around with a stern anchor too. Super flippin' nice boat = endless adventure, fun, and in all weather, anywhere, any port. Just dreaming and you provided the boat. 🤔🏴☠
John, that is a nice boat, however, I would be incredibly hard-pressed to look anywhere other than aluminum boatbuilders in the US Northwest and Canada. One example is ACI Marine located out of Port Towsend Washington and their 34 cat that boasts a 12' beam and unique hull features (check out the chines). They are builders who make offshore capable Pacific battlewagons. 🙂
@@vandijk1698 I agree that the Dutch are world-class boat builders, however, I have never seen a 10-14m aluminum cat out of the Netherlands built for offshore sport fishing.
@@duncanjames914 You might be right, my friend. I know they do build a lot of alu cats for offshore work. (Lot's of offshore activity in the North Sea) but I couldn't find a purpose built fishing cat. Have a good one!
its more speed boat and day cruiser then overnighter/weekender. 350 knot miles is fairly short range considering is speed. its pretty much 1 day of fuel so you are planning day trips between harbors. leaving one, traveling for a day, putting to port and refeuiling. when you compare this to something like a Nodic 35, same size, but not a fishing boat or speed boat, the nordices 600 knot at 8 knot cruising. Sure you may be only logging 100 miles a day... but thats 6 days of cruising up rivers before you need to refuel. This feels more like a hybread, looking to appeal to fishers, day cruisers, and speed boaters without really optimizing for any of them.
She is a breakthrough in design and ride dynamics. The DP system is long over do. No need for costly stabilization system. Perfect size for many coastal operation in Alaska. She is tuff and small enough to trailer. Small beam means regular slip cost. Designed for cold water and the choppy conditions in Cook Inlet. She can go on the hard with ease. I love the design and wish that we could set up a building operation in Homer Alaska. Bay Welding is one of the top aluminum builder in this part of Alaska. Business is booming with a 4 year wait for one of the progressive aluminum cats. Carl Nostrand
Bering is doubly hard: People used to expect substantially lower prices in Turkey, vs Netherlands etc. With Bering, that difference is not nearly as obvious anymore. OTOH, they seem to be developing a reputation for boats of pretty much "Dutch" quality as well. But still; it's often a bit of a slap in the face to realise you're no longer getting a boat for half the price of the top end Western yards.
I'd rather have the OXE Hybrid 450 as soon as they are avaiable (with sharrow marine props) for more torque (horsepower is irrelevant unless you are racing), more range and the option to go in full electric mode in protected areas where others are simply not allowed...
I do believe that Shoulder/Lap Belts for the seats should be a Must....Add Solar Panels to the Roof....I think this could also do with a Scale up to make the Bedroom a full stand-up room....Remove the Wheel outside with a mirror of the cockpit Joystick....
What ship do you know that has lap/shoulder belts? I’ve seen plenty of boat tours and not once have I seen one with seat belts, also this isn’t the only size cat that Bering are building, they’ve opened up more shipyards to make these and to keep up with demand for their expedition/explorer yachts
Love outboard boats. Can't imagine going back to inboard. BTW...the only mistake i see in this design is the bathroom. If a woman is on board...and don't we sometimes wish for that upgrade?.....That bathroom, frankly, sucks. Too much design area was given to other things. A decent bathroom with shower and a reasonable sink is a must for me. I am sure they can plumb in fresh water r/o systems...but really...that bathroom is a mess.
Still a great opportunity to experience the handling of the boat and how she performs at various speeds on various turns etc. But yes, I would love to take this boat out in the gnarly stuff 🌊🌊🌊🌊
I notice that the engines are tilted toward one another at the top -- I've seen this on Hysucats before (smaller, perhaps 28' models). Does this change as the models get longer, or is this done for the same reasons it's done for the smaller versions? Why the change from fiberglass hulls to aluminum on this one? This one seems a bit barebones. Is that for weight savings or just because it's a first-hull sea trial version?
Doesn't Mercury make outboard evils that are about that size cuz that's what I would go for it would be to outboard diesels and the reason for that is less volatile that gasoline AKA petrol
On a short, lightish boat, doubly so a foiling one, minimising weight at the extremities is even more important. Get Merc Racing 450Rs if you absolutely "need" speed. You may scare away the fish, but you'll fly....
Always add the price of this boat approximately the way it is shown so somebody can get an idea because I just walked in. It’s hard to find anything out.
I guess we could option up a wee bit. Ideas: Stretch to 45 Increase lounge kitchen area commensurate with length / beam increase Full fridge / freezer Re work the interior a little if a stretch can happen - interior design matter Offer a work model + weekender model If stretched redesign master cabin - interior design / shower etc Generator Solar and wind on roof Yes, raise the radar onto a mast with antenna + white light flood IR camera A/C for weekender Cockpit bbq station/ draw fridges, freezer for weekender And so on It’s a great platform. Well done Alexsi. (Fellow Australian - thinking of Reef, Sydney, Fraser type weekend destinations, mate)
I would love to see a 48 footer for cruising and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico off thr Louisina coast or Alabama coast, fishing the oil rigs and camping nearby. Add in a Sea Keeper gyro stabilizer and Dynamic Positioning system to stay put in place without anchoring. Add a fly bridge dual steer and GPS, radar, fishing sonar and searchlight fish sonar. Flood lights to illuminate entire rear deck to allow night fishing with red LED option to save night vision. Maybe consider diesel outboards for better fuel efficiency for longer cruising. If I can afford a 48 footer, I can afford diesel outboards.

Some solar panels on the top of the house, plus some more AH of battery storage capacity would go a long way in making the boat complete.

6:17 Would make sense to have joystick at outside helm too.
That roof top looks like it could house several Solar panels. That would be the first thing I would add.
where id HOT2LIVE errr HOWE2LIVE 's cat KRAKIN goto??? is this THAT??? or is this something else???
is this the SAME BERING that NAUTIpeeps gettin their new boat from???
I am sure that Bering Marine would take a serious look at this configuration 🫡
But for boats, just stop the madness already.

i love it ..everything you want in such a small compact boat
Is this boat also made at the Bering Marine shipyard in Turkey. What's the list price in US dollars?
I've been watching your RUclips channel for a while and just found out that you and I have the same first and last names.😂
Looks like a good candidate for a pair of COX 300 diesels.
Why not just go all the way, and have it modified for extremely proven inboard diesel, if diesel's your thing?
Wrong diseel outbard best yanmar disel outvsrd
That would be great up in the Puget Sound and up into the San Juans.
Maybe even a little bit larger.
I agree with you a 3 foot bigger transom and a perfect boat for the san juan island chain
How many Coca Cola aluminum can’s, does it take to build this fish machine?
Cheers!
Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment 🙌 Bering Marine is owned by the same people behind Bering Yachts ⚓️
@@YachtBuoy Then I stand corrected and happily so. Thanks!
Put some Sharrow props on for better performance and range.
Nice boat. Cox diesel outboard option would be good for Europe
Yes they are
Why this boat needed a carbon monoxide detector in the cabin and the boat only have outboard engines?
Good job Yacht Buoy, the perfect little boat for my neck of the woods, the Sacramento Delta to the San Francisco Bay Area and up and down the California coast. I even think I could single hand this boat. Even though I was on a US Navy cruiser for two years I was a radarman and have almost no small boat handling experience. And as a former radarman, I agree, raise that radar up on a mast for better results.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment, shipmate ⚓️ You could definitely operate this boat single handedly 🫡
Perfect sled for the Bay Area!
There's no helping that boat that's ugly..
And it is aways stupid shit like a wire that was not routed right and vibration wore a hole and it grounded out - sure it is an easy fix, but still your engine dies at the worst time - in a storm
This is 1970ish Yo-MammaHAHAHA, but it tells you honda and suzuki focused on reliability - never a problem with stupidity or cheapness with other rice burners

Why is the head missing a coin-operated telephone?
Have you ever heard of a little country called the Netherlands? They are by far the best boatbuilders in the world
Thanks for being a channel member and thanks for the heads-up 🙌 I will check them out 🫡
@@vandijk1698 I agree that the Dutch are world-class boat builders, however, I have never seen a 10-14m aluminum cat out of the Netherlands built for offshore sport fishing.
@@duncanjames914 You might be right, my friend. I know they do build a lot of alu cats for offshore work. (Lot's of offshore activity in the North Sea) but I couldn't find a purpose built fishing cat. Have a good one!
@@vandijk1698 And they know it too, going by their pricing.....
Looks a bit bow heavy in the first seconds of the video?
Penso che quei motori sono piccoli..lì ci vuole almeno 2x200hp
its more speed boat and day cruiser then overnighter/weekender.
Wrong 2 ti n es searay sundever
I would like to see a single walkaround for us 60+ so you get both extra cabin space and a safe walk to the front!
Two variants. There is a walk-around option.
Does Bering provide an option for diesel outboards? I could see this also used as a tender for their larger explorer yachts.
With pair of 425’s yamaha on it , it probably could do near 50 knots ? That boat would be a killer setup on Great Lakes in Michigan
Perfect size and super Nice aft
Looks like a great vessel . For chasing fish , but becomes obsolete with outboards .
. Super cool fjord hunter
I hate how the manufacturers never state the price.
The joystick could become a grab handle in rough seas
Can you put Mercury 450R on it? Just for the sake of better soundtrack (V8 and compressor) :-)
I am sure that Bering Marine would accommodate this 😍
I'd rather have the OXE Hybrid 450 as soon as they are avaiable (with sharrow marine props) for more torque (horsepower is irrelevant unless you are racing), more range and the option to go in full electric mode in protected areas where others are simply not allowed...
That's what chief use 2 450 hybrdd disels
Amazing evolution for Bering
U failed. Didn’t show the most important bit. The under side of the boat. 😊
I need to take my snorkel next time 😂
I do believe that Shoulder/Lap Belts for the seats should be a Must....Add Solar Panels to the Roof....I think this could also do with a Scale up to make the Bedroom a full stand-up room....Remove the Wheel outside with a mirror of the cockpit Joystick....
That forward berth has all the appeal of a cardboard box.
☝️☺️,, I like the design... It's not a show boat, practical, compact ..
This phone is fine like just like it is but just add a lot more horsepower like the 600s demand recommended and at least 500 gallons of fuel
Boat 60 hp outbards 500 Gao bus ful last long beeping tjne range
Nice boat, though not much point doing sea-trials in a power-cat when conditions are canoe friendly
Still a great opportunity to experience the handling of the boat and how she performs at various speeds on various turns etc. But yes, I would love to take this boat out in the gnarly stuff 🌊🌊🌊🌊
Be awesome if that could be made to have a much larger cabin and small cockpit area. It's aluminum so I'm sure it can be done.
I’m pretty confident that they would accommodate this 🫡🙌
I'd probably go with the smallest engines and get the fastest speed with the highest lift hysucat mod available.
I'll bet you could reach thru that window and steer the boat while you're taking a deuce.
😂😂
I thought he said it was a 2-cabin layout, but we only saw 1 cabin. Or did I misunderstand?
Inboard diesel option?
A very impressive thirty-four footer.
Hope to see in the future a double cabin version for recreational purposes for families with the sane BERING quality.
All Berings it seems are innovative and smart. Great video - thanks!
Thanks for watching!

Yamaha 425 all day, there is no replacement for displacement 😊
On a short, lightish boat, doubly so a foiling one, minimising weight at the extremities is even more important. Get Merc Racing 450Rs if you absolutely "need" speed. You may scare away the fish, but you'll fly....
Wrong displanct sucks
I go with twin Cox 300 diesels
How many recycled aluminum can’s, did it take to build this?

Let’s see proper sea trails in rough conditions take it out in a following sea state see how it preforms.

And do what? U Need 3 ft more beam and $500k
I guess we could option up a wee bit. Ideas:
Stretch to 45
Increase lounge kitchen area commensurate with length / beam increase
Full fridge / freezer
Re work the interior a little if a stretch can happen - interior design matter
Offer a work model + weekender model
If stretched redesign master cabin - interior design / shower etc
Generator
Solar and wind on roof
Yes, raise the radar onto a mast with antenna + white light flood
IR camera
A/C for weekender
Cockpit bbq station/ draw fridges, freezer for weekender
And so on
It’s a great platform.
@@ms.annthrope415 "Add in a Sea Keeper gyro stabilizer" Sea keeper on a cat??
