The various feelers covering Crassigyrinus's body are fantastic speculation, especially considering the murky freshwater swamps and marshes it lived in. Would have certainly helped to be able to feel your prey moving around you in the water as you swam.
Thanks so much for the kind words! A bit more context is written in the description! I don’t know if this will be a series but I’d love to make more Paleoart in the future
@@minthantlin9168 I tried to be as accurate as possible buy including 3 animals found in generally the same area/formation at the same time. I have no formal education in paleontology though so I tried my best!
@@romanwetland You seem to be pretty accurate, although Phragmoceras and Nerepisacanthus are from different formations within the Bertie group. The Cameroceras might be too big though, but I can't tell exactly.
The art, the presentation in combination with the music, the true glimpses we get .... this is honestly museum exhibit worthy and I'm truly impressed! To know you are such a talented yet hardworking young artist mkes me truly excited over what you can do with your future! Definitely got a new fan right here! My fvourite might be the Carboniferous display and the Silurian Display, the animals and scenes work so well in them!
This is an Epic masterpiece! The music is perfection and artwork amazing! It brings it all to life. What a beautiful display of creativity and imaginative expression of life through time!
such an amazing video! all of these illustrations are gorgeous, although if i had to pick a favorite it’d probably be the permian :). the atmosphere of all of these is so striking and the way it slides between scenes brings back memories of the train ride at disneyland when you get to look at all the ancient life. i loved your art!
I SAW THIS AT THE SHOW THINGY IT GOT ME SO EXCITED MY SISTER WAS ONE OF THE PPL THAT DID THE SHOW THING U DID GREAT THIS STUFF HAD ME SCREAMING ON THE INSIDE

Thank you so much! I feel like it was one of the bigger leaps I took in terms of speculation
The music and the drawings are epic. This era does not get enough credit. Is this like a series or something?

@@romanwetlandanother thing I also like is that you included species that I myself have never heard of before. And I know a lot of extinct animals.

Thank you! He’s one of my favorites!
0:19 That is the most gorgeous rendition of LUCA I’ll ever see in my life.
We owe it everything so might as well give it a glamor shot
1:32 Bertie group finally gets a mention
Silurian Stan!!
@@romanwetland Yep. One of my personal favourite formations.

The Disneyland comment really made my day, to even be compared to that is an honor! Thanks!
Lovely
esto esta super épico, quien diría que alguien que dibuja hombres chichones en Twitter también podría dibujar animales para un libro de prehistoria
Very cool

Amazing, what can I say more
Life did not begin with LUCA, but FUCA (the FIRST universal common ancestor). But the art looks great!
Thank you for the feedback, I don’t have any formal education in paleontology so I try my best 💀
Cool!
Impressive
Woah
An the end you shoulder have putted “Life found a way”
Wow did you make all the illustrations?
The drawing application procreate!
Oh come now, not even a mention of the Ediacaran? :P
Sorry, this project was just focusing on the Paleozoic, as much as I love the ediacaran!
@@romanwetland Yeah, I figured. It's just that the Ediacaran really takes the cake for wild-looking animals. Great video!
