  • Excellent Roots Reggae band MERGER performing live version of Biko on UK TV's Revolver in 1978. Great dancing from the (mainly punk) Revolver studio audience.

The first time that i heard this song was around 1982 and now 25 years later i see the video. In that time in Belgium the governement paved the way to allow and legalize private radio stations.. THANK YOU for sharing this video.

Thanks for this live, I'll upload the 12" version soon, got it for a very cheap price but had to wait a very long time before finding a copy :)

Bloody hell! Where did you manage to get this from? I have one of their albums from 1977 but I didn't know anything about the group. Thanks to youtube I am finding out more and more about this much underrated band. It's nice to be reminded that people once played live instruments. I wonder where they are now? Thanks

@kalcidis thanks for your answer!! i found it as a 45 rpm, i have to flip it if i want the second part.i would prefer a 12" with the complete song on a-side and the version (i guess it is a killer) on b side.

the lps i know from this band are some of the best militant roots reggae i never heard....check them!their titles are armaggedon time and exiles in babylon...but the song biko doesnt appear on them is it coming from a third unknown album or was it just a 45's??
