This channel is very underrated you should definitely collab with another RUclipsr to grow a little more I love all of your videos and have watched pretty much all of them!
i love the smell. My area doesn't have emissions inspection. The cats removed dont make it that much louder but it makes it pop and bang when removed. the muffler probably has the biggest impact on sound. without the cats and muffler the turbo spools soo much quicker and hits peak boost really fast
If you want the car to be quieter while still maintaining the performance of a straight through exhaust, then you could put in a straight through resonator or 2 with the same bore as your exhaust pipe.
i have the same exact car and same year... but mine is an auto :( I also live really close to PA. I never could find any reviews or videos on someone doing what you are doing on your car so its awesome to see someone that wants to do the same things on the same car as me. keep up the good content man
after owning so many subarus and different exhausts the best combo is catless down pipe to high flow cat no resonator and a big oval muffler ont he back. loud as fuck rumble and none of that raspy ricer shit you get with no cats and a fart can.
Like the the vids. What's going on with the turbo?? Status of power and reliability of this on an NA subaru. Did you get it dynoed to see what power are you making? Zero to sixty, quarter mile, etc to see improvement?? Have you pulled on another car like a wrx or gti or something? Thanks for the 2.5i vids, keep em comming.
Like the vids, been following the NA turbo mods. To point out, you cut out the resonator which is like a small muffler on that midpipe helps with drone. The cat is supposed to be on the downpipe just after the turbo where it heats quicker. Thats where its at on the Wrx and Sti on those years. Is it throwing a code yet?? Personally I have an 06 2.5i (not a daily) no cat, UEL modded stainless headers and I love the smell of carbon and gasoline in the morning..;) Trust me dude you aint saving the earth from anything (yawn...), enjoy your combustion engine while giving the finger to these glorified golf carts on the road...
Don't you need back pressure for n/a cars, I have a 99 subaru legacy with 2.5L with the 1320 headers and original cats and muffler delete, I want to get the 1320 mid pipe that gets rid of the 2 cats but I'm afraid to loose torque or hp, any facts on this?
The cat on turbo Subaru’s are supposed to go in the downpipe not the catback that’s why it’s called a catback because it’s after the cat. What is in the exhaust should be a resonator. Love the videos keep up the good work
Sounds better after imo a cleaner rumble 👌🏼 nice vid

No way!!! Hibachi Moto! I love your videos man!
Hayden bolton:3 he should get down with @garagesideways both in same state
It sounds much better with less emissions.

Great progress!! Started watching when you turbo charged your subey!! She sounds great😤
Me to im doing this to my none turbo 09 subaru impreza hatch
So much better with Catalytic Converter :D I personally have OE Cat in my Subaru and it rumbles so well.
Glad to see you back

Fuck yea bro
The turbo sounds happier too
Nice work, sounds much better with the catalytic converter
Personally, I like the sound after.
Can you help me build my turbo 2010 Subaru legacy non turbo
Sounds better with it
Actually sounds better ! I would love to own a wagon subaru but in europe it is pretty expensive and rare ...
Dude where have you been! Good vlog mate 👍
So I have basically the same car but Saabaru but would love to talk about turboing mine. I’ve priced it all out. Just looking for advice
I've also got a 2005 saabaru i was wondering what parts you have in mind for to turbo it
Look me up on fb and message me
Yoi could just drilled 3 holes 1/2 inch in a triangle sl flow would was better but still burn gasses
where did you get your exhaust from ?
I would of kept the converter off but yet its better you put it on. Here in the uk its illegal if you take it off because of the fumes

Nice vid
what subaru is it
Nice intro and you should just straight pipe it. You know, remove the muffler.
Sounds waaay better after..
No it's unique to the spend headers only
i liked the before sound better tbh. but now you cant shoot flames :(
I like it better before.
Oh I can still shoot flames
So it’s straight piped + a catalytic converter? Idk I might plan to do that to my 2020 wrx rip. Haha
Hey man have the exact same car, curious if you know if there’s a cat back exhaust available? Want to keep mine stock no turbo tho.
Lol picture of Notch 😂
Where did you've been ? Post more videos !!
I'm working on it!!!!
Where and how much did you get your subie for?????

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAW
@ goldguy is your engine sohc or dohc
You moved the position of the meter from before and after. That's not very "scientific". You need to measure from the same point. 😉
It did change up the tone just a bit
I don’t want a catalytic converter but I need one because it’s illegal to remove it!
Cats are a waste of money. I dont know why people insist on adding them. Makes zero sense. They just get stolen instantly.
i prefer the before
So raspy
After
They sound like $#!+ when catless. And mufflerless.
