Cities Skylines Industries:
In one of the most in-depth expansions in Cities: Skylines history, Industry becomes a larger and more meaningful part of the game with this expansion. Players can customize their industrial areas with supply chains for the four different resource types and unique factories. Well managed industry areas will level up and become more efficient. Aside from production chains, there is a new city service for handling mail and the cargo airport eases import and export of factory goods. There are FIVE new maps, new policies, new city services, new buildings (including resource extractors, manufacturers, warehouses and unique factories) and more.

Follow your products from harvesting to processing, storage and production, then transport them to commercial zones or export to other cities.
- CAPTAIN YOUR OWN INDUSTRIES
Define an area with the industry area tool and place highly specialized industrial buildings to build and manage the production chain from raw material extraction up to final end product. Industry Areas are divided into four types based on the natural resource they are processing: Farming, Forest, Ore and Oil. These areas can level up upon reaching productions goals and staffing requirements.
- BUILD IT UP, BUTTERCUP
New industrial buildings include Extractors, Warehouse Facilities, Processing and Auxiliary Buildings, Industrial Props and Roads. Unique Factories, such as Food, Toy, Furniture, Car and Electronics produce luxury products, and require a large number of workers, water and electricity as well as input from your industries.

Manage traffic and logistics with industrial warehouses and the use of the new Cargo Services including a cargo airport.
GO POSTAL
Boost your citizens’ well-being with mail delivery and collection services. Post sorting facilities handle mail between outside connections and the post offices, and new Post Van and Truck vehicles enable the carriage.

Three new Industry Policies and four City-wide Policies, including Workers’ Union, Sorting, Tolls, Wi-Fi, Logistics, Work Safety and Automation.

Which mod did you use to place the trees in lines?
Can you do this without mods?
Just wondered if you had a guide for introducing mass transit into a city as I've been trying to fix one of mine. I figured seeing I had a freight line for my industry if couldn't be that hard,but looking at my layout,mass demolition would kill my budget. I posted my city on your April 6th video.

i've spend alot of time on this city as a one tile (with only office buildings) untill i wanted to make it self sustaining, but the expansion made my roadwork and layout messy as hell. not sure how much you'll be able to do. but i'd love some help :D im a new player so forgive the new guy mistakes, and ofcourse any tips for future expansion or future cities are always welcome. learning how to handle everything is hard
This is definitely more relaxing than fixing horrendous traffic. I dig it if this becomes your next series

"The Traffic is fine". That's not a line I've heard from any Cities: Skylines player before
Traffic with de-spawning is rarely ever a big problem. Worst I've ever seen in my own city was 75% and that was a single ramp change. Delete'd the change and it went back to 90% :)
I’ve just started playing, but traffic is always a top priority to deal with. I’m surprised to see anyone thinking it’s ok to leave their traffic below 70% :p
@@codeman99-dev I play vanilla on PS4 and when ever I plop some high density down, my traffic will plummet to about 50%. My roundabouts will only ever not queue up if they lead to a low density area. My traffic starts to become a major problem after 20k population, well for me anyway.
@@samantharichardson6956 Make your blocks bigger. More distance between intersections.
I also play on PS4.
The builder is really good as planning the placement & usage of the various intersections, great work👍
13:42 The water physics doesn't like interacting with those boulder assets. You have to use Move It on the rocks with the speed up high and just toy with it until the water finally forms around it.
This is great, I've got a similar situation, 250k population, no problems with traffic but park areas aren't properly gated and needs beautifying throughout. I also have a disappearing tree issue I need to sort out first.
Might be some termite infestation 😂😂😂

I had the same problem. Found out it could be lightning causing small fires that go put before you notice them. I built a fire watch tower in the area and haven't had that problem
I love that concept of vanilla "upgrade" for Cities Skylines. It's interesting and involves more creativity to do something both functional and beautiful from simple vanilla assets! Thanks Biffa!

IRL having huge trees blocking your view of an intersection would be such a bad idea... especially considering typical no-traffic light Skylines intersection.
But it doesn't seem to have any effect on the traffic so YAY for drivers who can see through trees!
This turned out amazing. The city was already one of the best looking cities I've seen submitted. Somehow you made it even more beautiful. The water features were a nice touch.
Would be awesome to have a ctr-z in this game.
There is an undo-it mod, you can set how many undo's it remembers...mine is on 2.

Good heavens, Biffa, he asked you to do the //fun// part of making a city! I would definitely recommend the detailers' mods to any player (I see you using them), even if s/he didn't want to take on transportation mods or the like. MoveIt, Prop Line Tool, the Fine Road Tools and Fine Road Anarchy, Prop and Tree Anarchy, Quay Anarchy, Unlimited Trees, Elektrix network tools... don't really affect gameplay but make it easier to construct a nice-looking city.
PS - Ground level roundabouts were just MADE for gardens and heroic statues! :D And we always need Moar Gardenz.
If u think this is ugly....just wait till u see the Cities that RTgames & Isorroproductions made

This city is amazing! I liked the first park thingy you did biffa, the one with the little pond and that oriental park. The rest I found a bit overdesigned, these roundabouts and that confusing lake near the beach. Again, great city with amazing walkways, looked like something from a very utopic sci-fi.

Holy crap that was a super sexy city! All it needed was some filling in and detailing from the master. But seriously props to the creator and you too. definitely would love to see more pimping vids or maybe even some cities spot lights

There do need to be more roundabout assets! Some sort of adjustable platforms to fit.
I just downloaded solar power highways from BadPeanut. That guy's assets are AMAZING!
Those should be super expensive to maintain and provide very little power, to make it more immersive. ;)
I really like the assets from BadPeanut, too, but the solar power highway....
I have then then videos by thunderf00t about this topic, couldn't make myself download that crap. :D
Bet the solar roadways are 4x the maintenance cost and only a fraction of the capacity! XD

Beautiful city, and nice seeing you working with it to make it even more beautiful.
What bugged me though is that this is a tropical map, and conifers seem out of place. I would use something more tropical like palm trees.

What is the mod/asset you use for all the different roads? I only have the main ones, I don't have any dlc though if that's the reason why. Mods I have already - TMPE, Roundabout builder and Move it. I also have everything unlocked that the main game has to offer.

Nice!! In my present build I'm using the concept of linking different parts of my city with parks... nice to see the people walking around! In my first build I used the space around train tracks to make a park to connect different parts of the city... visually it's amazing!!
But I have a problem in my cities.. it happened in 2 of my builds... the population drops insanely from 150k to 60k... from 110k to 50k... and then, without any income, I have constantly battled against bankruptcy... so I decided to play with unlimited money (which I don't like, but it's the only way I can play without having this issue)... even though, it's sad to se the skull signs all over and abandoned buildings everywhere....what can I do to solve this!?

Maybe you can make more like a tutorial how to use the tooling to do things.
I know some basics of the move it mod, but I also saw you draw a line of bushes like they were a road of something including bends.
I actually tried to slow down the parts that were speed up, but even with 0.25 speed, it is still going to fast.

which road mods do you use? tried to load maps on steam but kept getting half the roads missing, i have NE2 and TM:PE
None of the roads in this save are through a mod. They are all individual assests. Most of them are done by BadPeanut on steam work shop

Its long donn but i sill have an idee to get it a bit realistic.
All the parks you have builded are cool but have you thought about a gardener or forester should have a meeting point for their work. A small parking lot with a storage box would be a great gimmick.
