What is the music in the background? It has been years searching it and I still can't find it lol.
I recently got back into minecraft playing with kids, and I wondered what ever happened to William Strife, and if he was still doing videos. Was delighted to find he has kept up with the guide series, the ones from 8 years ago inspired a lot of my Minecraft builds. Good memories
The 2014 version is what originally brought me into minecraft. I cannot put into words how excited I am for this to be happening.

So glad you're back with these guides Will. Would be nice to go back to the old Minecraft Guide to revamp some of those for current versions (since Villagers has changed, as well as Guardians and Phantoms have been added, not to mention, once 1.17 comes out, we will have all that new stuff as well)

The diamond pickaxe is not necesarilly needed. As theres good chance for finding obsidian in these chests for enchanting table.
You can build a portal by making water touching lava source block and "carving" the shape for portal that way.
Flint and Steel is still reccomended but sometimes you can find Fire Charge which functions identically to F&S when interacting with blocks including ignitjng a nether portal.

Why was the diamond above the netherite ingot in the intro?
Because diamonds are just more recognizable. Netherite also doesn't visually pop and has a boring color when it comes to graphic design and placement.

You either get one hour long guide that 99% of viewers won't watch because it's too long, or I break it up and reference to other short videos that get into the fine details of each topic.
If you want the Minecraft guide definitive uncut extended directors cut edition, AKA Lord of the Rings style, look elsewhere.
