A tip for dealing with hoglins, or just with doing stuff in their biome: they are afraid of warped fungus, so if you bring a few with you, you can plant them around where you are working or building and it will keep the hoglins away.
Pro tip: The Hoglins are afraid of the warped fungus (blue mushroom) when placed down on the ground. If you have one chasing you, you can place it down and they'll back off. This can also be used as an opportunity to get in a couple hits with a sword or shoot at them with a bow to get some pork chops
Also, you can put the potion for 3 minutes of fire resistance from the piglins into a brewing stand with Redstone to make them into 8 minutes of fire resistance.
Little advise about securing a portal. I know a lot of people like to secure it in overworld as well. Make sure you can easily escape if anything bad happen after you go through portal back to the overworld. My portal spawned me literally in a fortress but it was in a soul sand valley. I didn’t notice that a wither skeleton go through, so when I came back he cornered and killed me. He went through the portal in a first few seconds after I came to the nether I think. That was unfortunate also because the game lags a bit when you switch between worlds and my reaction time is not that great. Lost my hardcore world because of that. Beware.
Same happened to me on my first trip to the nether, got attacked and damaged badly so decided to retreat back through the portal and died from a skeleton the instant I spawned in the overworld

biggest tip i would give is to tunnel your way around instead of travelling above ground normally, even with iron picks you can clear through netherrack fairly fast and random inconspicuous holes that fall directly to a lake of lava are a big hardcore run killer if you are travelling above ground, mobs themselves aren't very dangerous if you're well equiped, until you got fire resistance armor and potions you should be very paranoid every time you step into unknown ground in the nether

Scaffolding is a way better block for reducing fall damage. Not only can you carry it in stacks. You can place it over edges where you need to fall. And it makes mining ores on ceilings 10x easier.
Not to mention that scaffolding is also lava proof, so once you've built far enough for it to start dropping like sand, keep on doing it and you'll have a safe way of getting into and hiding in lava lakes.
Navigation tip for Java edition, if you have multiple locations in the nether you want to use as a base, use banners and maps. You won't be able to see any details on the area but you'll have an idea of your location relative to the banner
@@cinnamoncat8950... Offhand maps are good for navigation. Or one handed I mean since I use a shield offhand. And yes, you do need to be careful about cliffs, lava, etc.
I swear I remember that back in the early days (1.2/1.3) maps use to ignore bedrock so they'd be all red, makes no difference but I wonder why the change
It's been made possible to light up a portal from the nether without a flint and steel for a long time ! But it used to be much more complicated. All the ingredients to craft a fire charge (blaze powder, gunpowder, coal) are possible to find in the nether by killing mobs
Consistently well done tutorials. Plenty of information. Stays to the point. I love that I know what I'm going to get before I click on the video. In a 10 minute video, I'll get 10 minutes of exactly the information I'm looking for, clearly explained, not 7 minutes of fluff and 3 minutes of confusion, like so many others. Stopped playing Minecraft for about 5 years. Just got back into it and boy was the Nether rough 😂. I just wanted to get some blaze rods 😭. Thanks for this man ♥️.
The Nether definitely is when your minecraft character starts feeling less like a normal fantasy warrior/nomad and more of a wizard. Teleporting around, making potions, and trading with extra-dimensional creatures (culminating in summoning the ultimate monster) all make the nether feel like the jump into something ostensibly much more magical than the normal world!
Honestly I wished potions were easier tho since the only time I ever really use potions is for villagers, wither, mining netherite and the ender dragon but asides from that I've never really used potions much
@@chitosetakaki9385 Yeah, I will admit that potions are often not powerful enough to warrant their functional cost. I've thought about maybe one day figuring out how to make a very simple minecraft RPG mod that basically does nothing except create a "Warrior" class and a "Spellcaster" class - the warrior is default steve, while the spellcaster deals reduced weapon damage but bonus damage with flint and steel and has a "philosopher's stone" implicit to their character that lets them make potions without netherwart, and instead their potions are just upgraded with netherwart. No need to touch the crafting system otherwise, I have often found most RPG mods were way to restrictive for how much Minecraft prefers that you do little bits of everything. Just changing up combat would be enough.
@@chitosetakaki9385 i think it's better to keep potions as a tool needed for niche tasks like boss fights and such. they fill their purpose very well in my opinion. the fact that they're kind of complex to concoct is not necessarily a bad thing, it makes it feel like they require preparation so you would only use them for specific objectives, i think making them easier would take away from this. they're also very useful on multiplayer servers from my own experience and are very much worth the hassle
Ohhhhhh gonna use that from now on. 3:13 Also tips from my experience: If you go to the nether either place a chest near the portal or don't take valuables like enchanted stuff. This one time I got killed with an enchanted sword and rage quit the game. Also hoglins are afraid of warped fungus so one placed on the ground might calm them down. Also use a shield to deflect arrows and attacks as it will help a lot while dealing with blazes, skeletons and ghasts. Be calm if you see a ghast don't panic stay calm and deflect their attacks with the sword. Most people mess up when they are panicking. Piglings can open wooden doors but not Iron ones so dont use wooden doors as security. Always note down the coordinates of your house in the overworld and the portal in the nether as some lose their stuff because they dont know their houses location. And water buckets don't work in the nether so any of you who are water bucket trick masters thinking no one can stop you, RIP to your stuff.😔
I prefer the soul campfire to cook the porkchops with, as it's easier to make and is good for nether survival. Plus, it will drop charcoal like a standard campfire and is a great way to more or less generate charcoal in a world where stems cannot do that
In bedrock maps are really really op because when you go to nether with a locator map in your hand it will actually show you the overworld location of your player in nether which is very useful for portal linking and also you can just go back to your portal from any direction because the cursor actually always points to where you are looking compared to in java where it only shows a little dot basically maps are F3 for bedrock
Additionally, you can place soul torches/soul lanterns or zombified piglins trapped and give them armor to scare away piglins if your gold armor breaks then you can run away to your base and they’ll run away because they’re afraid of them. You should also place Warped Mushrooms around to scare hoglins as they’re very powerful early/mid game.
Thanks for all these tips, as well as all the others in the comments. I just started playing a few months ago with my daughter, so these are super helpful!
(guide to not just survive but thrive) -On bedrock if you jump out the boat right before you hit the ground you wont take fall damage, -You can bone meal the mushrooms in the nether when they are on nylium giveing you some more building blocks and a vegan food source if you choose to use it if you dont want to kill skeletons you can compost the nether wart blocks and warped wart blocks since they have one of the highest chances in the game to fill up a composter, -If you are in java you can get a zombie piglen chicken jokey to spawn and get chickens going and if you want a good source of iron without tradeing you can get zombie sieges to spawn from haveing zombie pigmen angry at you (use looting from zombie pigmen gold swords for higher chance) I DO NOT HAVE JAVA I AM JUST A NERD but if anyone could test giveing a zombie a fire res and putting it in lava seeing if it turns into a drown OR pushing a zombies head into a water filled cauldron (you get bottles of water from piglin trades) to see if it turns into a drown it would be awesome to know
As always, very useful information. Did not know about using the vines as a freestanding ladder, that water levels in cauldron depleated a level with each use, about the lode stone, that furnace can be crafted with black stone, bowls crafted from nether woods. I should probably call you Mr. Mojang 😉👍
Great video, but you forgot ONE thing! Hoglins are terrified of warped fungus which even grows in crimson forests. So if theyre ruining your day, use that trick. At least on Bedrock, they will even flee from it despite you still attacking them. It's saved my butt many times and helped me hunt them while having a circle of them around me. I thank my friend Lee for telling me this!
14:53 you can also tower up like 3 to 4 block or go somewhere they can reach you then place the bucket of lava and set the hoglins on fire then last hit them so you can get the cooked porkchop instantly 16:22 not convenient way but it work I always carry a splash potion of water, you can you use splash potion of water to put out fire ; )
That is possible, but how many planks you would actually need to craft multiple boats if you're being attacked by multiple endermen? And you can't even stack boats!!
@@syedfardeenahmed2592I know this was 11 months ago, but if you plan on using boats you should probably just... kill them 1 at a time? I feel like thats pretty obvious

I just got minecraft last week and know little about how to play. Watching videos help a lot but I've noticed videos come into two categories. Very beginner and very expert. I built a Nether Portal and died immediately without seeing anything because I apparently tried to swim in lava. I lost a lot of stuff and am now afraid to go back.
the first few times you go to the nether, only bring things you can afford to lose. (like stone tools and leather armor) dying isn't a problem if you're not carrying anything important. Later, you can have an Iron farm and exp farm, so even iron armor and enchantments will be easy to get. at that. Don't bring diamond or netherite equipment there until you know what you will find there and you're confident that even if you die, you can at least reach safely the place where you die to get your items back.
Really helpful stuff here. This whole time I'd been planning to craft fire resistance potions from scratch. Never occurred to me that you could get them from trading with piglins. Much easier.
Or just know what Minecraft RUclipsrs your watching. Not every mc RUclipsr plays both versions. This guy will never differentiate between the two versions because his older viewers already knows he's exclusively Java edition.

Wiki is still useful , you should definitely consider reading 1 full article every now and then. You'd be surprised the amount of useful information that hides there !
Just wanted to mention that 3 pieces of fire protection IV will max it out, and you can actually get much better protection with three pieces of regular protection and a single piece of fire protection, as it will put all your protections one piece away from max and max out fire protection.
As of Jul 18th on Xbox One S, putting on a piece of gold armor while being chased by piglins will not make them instantly passive. You have to leave their sight line and then they will turn passive
Wait omg these are some really good ideas thank you so much!! :D I am a scaredy cat lol and I really appreciate this video so much I will be doing these!! :D
0:15 if you are going to attempt doing this make SURE to have it so that the otherside of the portal is ALSO covered as i have just died to a creeper explosion because one of the creepers wandered into the nether and woudn't leave the secured area and ended up automatically exploding the moment i loaded in (no time to react) as well as destroying my portal with all of my stuff (would not reccommend)
You know i love how in detail you go in is clear and coherent if i wanna know things about Minecraft i always go your channel i subbed awhile back im going to click on the notification bell because these videos are great keep it up im always listen to this stuff and work and it drives me crazy cause all i wanna do it play 😂
I can't stress enough. Build your safety houses and safe spaces out of glass (to see) and use half slabs of all that bedrock for paving stones and in the air tunnels.
I was unlucky enough to have my portal spawn in a soul valley. I couldn't approach the hoards of skeletons because of the soul sand and there were always 2 ghasts fireballing me. Even with enchanted armor I barely lasted more than a couple of minutes while trying to set up a safe box. I eventually managed to tunnel to a wastes biome and there was a crimson forest nearby both of which were much more enjoyable. Just that initial start was one of the worst things I've experienced in a game... ever. As long as you aren't in a soul valley, exploring the nether is one of the most fun things in Minecraft in my opinion.
@@taniaphillips3124 piglins don't spawn in soul sand valley, so if your nether portal takes you right in the middle of a soul sand valley, it's difficult to get out. One of my survival worlds was completely ruined by an unfortunate soulsand valley nether portal, very high up and suspended over a massive ocean of lava. After tunneling for a while in both directions, I had nowhere to go :D
0:57 i think a lever would not be very helpfull. use a button instead becuase a lever you have to flick on and off and when there are 10 zombie piglins after you you simply dont have the time for that. the downside with the button however is that it stays active for a bit allowing maybe 1 or 2 piglins to get inside. this only happens after they are right behind you, which i doubt since you are probably running for your life when you need your portal panic shelter (sorry if there any typo
I’m so glad I was finally able to like… build an actual base around my portal, because every time I’ve spawned in the nether it’s in a completely uninhabitable area 😭
I picked up playing Minecraft about a month ago, at the young age of 32. I didn't know anything about the nether other than how to make the portal and there were some enemies down there. Made portal at my home base, spawned into the soul sand valley biome, right in the path of a lava flow that chased me off a cliff into an ocean of lava, and lost all my diamond stuff. Went through a few more times until the game found a portal location it liked, and i just kept getting insta-killed by ghasts and skeletons. I thought the entire nether was that brutal, the change of pace shocked me. Turns out I probably had the most unlucky introduction to the nether for an unfamiliar player. Thanks for the video my dude lol
I lost like over 3 stacks of diamonds and more valuebles in the bassalt deltas biome There is very rough terrain and lots of magma cubes which deal LOTS of damage and if you kill them it gets worst because they multiply and harder to deal with also ghasts
That definitely sounds very close to the most unlucky nether portal possible, yikes. One trick you can use to deal with flowing lava : dig a 1 block hole next to your feet. The lava will flow into it instead of into you
I lost my hardcore earlier to the nether. while gathering blaze rods after finally getting the courage to visit a nether fortress i accidently hit a zombie piglin and then killed him to get him out of the way. I looked around and I thought I was ok but all of a sudden about 12 zombie piglins came up the stairs and were aggrod and i had no way out. lesson learned was if u hit one of those guys, get out of there or build around you asap.
Btw there is a simple way of dealing with the zombiefied piglins when you need rotten flesh. If you can kill the mob in one hit, the rest do not become hostile
That was the case in early 1.16 snapshot as well, it seems to be a common issue where bedrock developers don't listen to feedback. The phantom for example was nerfed following unanimous backlash, but on bedrock the phantom still deals massive damage
always carry lava and water bucket with u. In nether lava bucket can help since u can go 3-4blocks up make 3 more block there and pour lava on 1 and kill those piglins.
Pro tip. Always bring a ender chest if you can get access to one. And you should probably bring a silk touch pickaxe to be able to pick it up without breaking. Cs looting nether structures you tend to run out of space quickly
i would highly recommend using fire resistance potions and slow falling potions. when you have good gear the mobs aren't too much of a problem but falling to your death and dying in lava is an easy way to lose all of your max enchanted diamond gear (speaking from experience). Also, not nether related but taking the time to get into potion crafting is incredibly useful.
Man, i've been playing Minecraft for so long, I don't need to be spending my time on these videos. But I like your voice and your vibe and it's too easy to just let Autoplay work its way through your entire channel
You can always build an Arrow to point yourself in the direction you need to go. Dig into the floor on a 3x3 box on two sides, then give it a 2 block tail. Any variant of this works. Even a 3 block line with a 2 block arm.
All of these cool tips and tricks, yet I’m so surprised he didn’t bring up the boat method of trapping endermen, these videos are still so cool, keep it up!
Just a little tip, wearing a gold helmet can actually stop the piglins from wanting to chase you at all!! I always keep a few in a chest in my portal base just for that reason
Crossbow with Piercing IV can quite dissuade a ghast. If they're so far away that you can't see them but they are still spitting fireballs, make them find you in a nether forest or behind some blocks, so they have to get closer.
17:35 he forgets to mention another awesome fact about netherite equipment. It doesn't burn in lava. it will literally float on the surface. I know a lot of people know that but when you die and lose everything it's very satisfying to know you still have your tools and armor
For the porkchops you could just make a campfire and not have to constantly fuel your cooking. Also I believe the hogs are afraid of the warped fungus so you could offhand it to keep from getting ganked by them while hunting.
15:30 _(only for Bedrock Edition)_ but for the fuel part in the nether you can also use gold nuggets but you'll need an stack of it to cook 8 pork chops or something. 18:15 other thing that you can do that also works in the overworld is naming a piece of tool or equipment the coordinates of your nether portal/house, so that whenever you go in the nether or exploring in the overworld you have that tool or equipment with the coordinates on it. For example, you can change the name of your golden piece of equipment the coordinates, knowing that you'll always gonna wear that piece to travel safely in the nether.
11:20 you can actually run far, dig a 2 block deep hole and make a 3 block tall pillar next to it, then sneak at the corner of the pillar to get the piglins to run into the hole.
You can scare away the hoglins using warped fungi or placing them when you sense one attacking you, There is a chance in which piglins attack you in the first step you take into the nether, So i recommend you to keep a golden helmet or boots with you, You could easily get one by killing Rare Zombies in the overworld which wears golden helmet, They can be mostly found in coastal villages... Please note about facing piglin brutes, They are not stupid or foolish, They will even attack you if you have gold with you.. About ghasts, There are two choices, Either dodge the fireball or what i recommend is returning it back using a sword, Any sword can work tho..Or you could just go and kill it when it's distracted In zombified piglins, i have escaped one and made it passive, Just run way fast away from it until it's out of your view, If you have a speed potion, your lucky
I know this is an old video but Warped fungus is absolutely vital to dealing with Hoglins, I would even say that it's a necessary part of safety proofing your nether fortress.
I find the hogs easy to kill with my bow in hard mode, especially with knockback/punch. If I don't If I get lost and don't feel like making my way all the way back to the portal, I bring obsidian and flint, and make a new portal. It may end up far from my original, but it's safer to return from your trip in the main world. Great tips...I did not know a fair amount of this, and since I've not spent much time in the nether in a couple years and I'm in hard mode, I needed this education to keep me safe. I stepped into the nether earlier this week, and a ravager and multiple illagers were already killing me by the time I spawned in, and I was dead before I could spawn out. Thankfully when I respawned and zoned back in, they were gone.

You need to pillar up only 2 blocks for zombified piglins and piglin brutes. Hoglins and iron golems need 3 blocks.
Navigation tip for Java edition, if you have multiple locations in the nether you want to use as a base, use banners and maps. You won't be able to see any details on the area but you'll have an idea of your location relative to the banner
Just be careful not to walk off a cliff while looking at the map
Please, protect the portal in overworld as well
Consistently well done tutorials. Plenty of information. Stays to the point. I love that I know what I'm going to get before I click on the video. In a 10 minute video, I'll get 10 minutes of exactly the information I'm looking for, clearly explained, not 7 minutes of fluff and 3 minutes of confusion, like so many others.
Keep up the great work!
What a poem. Its absolutly true tho
I mean you ARE traveling into a rendition of Hell itself, so I guess that makes sense
Ohhhhhh gonna use that from now on. 3:13
Also tips from my experience: If you go to the nether either place a chest near the portal or don't take valuables like enchanted stuff. This one time
I got killed with an enchanted sword and rage quit the game.
Best minecraft video ever. Simple, effective, not a single moment wasted during 20 minutes. Well earned following. Excellent ending too Lol
Love when I just get out if work and you post a video. Best part of my morning
its pretty cool that at the nether is a livable place, you got food, wood and stone, good loot (like gold to trade with the piglins) pretty great
I prefer the soul campfire to cook the porkchops with, as it's easier to make and is good for nether survival.
My little tip for making iron doors easier to close is to place it as if it’s open.
Or put a hole in the wall next to the door and put a lever there.
Thanks for all these tips, as well as all the others in the comments. I just started playing a few months ago with my daughter, so these are super helpful!
Glad to help!

I lost my hardcore world because of fall damage in the nether. I tried landing in the lava but it was too shallow and died (I had 110 days)
Oh no that sucks :(
You make amazing tutorial content that is not bland or just slow, thank you.
on a side note, the way you talk reminds me of a calmer Garfield.
(guide to not just survive but thrive)
-On bedrock if you jump out the boat right before you hit the ground you wont take fall damage,
-You can bone meal the mushrooms in the nether when they are on nylium giveing you some more building blocks and a vegan food source if you choose to use it if you dont want to kill skeletons you can compost the nether wart blocks and warped wart blocks since they have one of the highest chances in the game to fill up a composter,
-If you are in java you can get a zombie piglen chicken jokey to spawn and get chickens going and if you want a good source of iron without tradeing you can get zombie sieges to spawn from haveing zombie pigmen angry at you (use looting from zombie pigmen gold swords for higher chance)
I DO NOT HAVE JAVA I AM JUST A NERD but if anyone could test giveing a zombie a fire res and putting it in lava seeing if it turns into a drown OR pushing a zombies head into a water filled cauldron (you get bottles of water from piglin trades) to see if it turns into a drown it would be awesome to know
Play however you want. Your not a nerd for what you play or how you play
@@babygaga821 thanks :)
Omg you talk so detail thank you, your video make my hardcore survival live longer. I subscribed
14:53 you can also tower up like 3 to 4 block or go somewhere they can reach you then place the bucket of lava and set the hoglins on fire then last hit them so you can get the cooked porkchop instantly
16:22 not convenient way but it work I always carry a splash potion of water, you can you use splash potion of water to put out fire ; )
"You wont have (insert litterally any equipment) just yet if you havent been to the end yet"
Villagers and fishing rods: Are we a joke to you?
Fishing is so OP, I love it. Didn’t take me long to fish up a couple of heavily enchanted fishing rods to make the loot gathering even faster.
A faster way to deal with endermen is to place a boat in front of you as the enderman walks toward you and they'll get stuck in it
Only in Java though in Bedrock they can teleport straight out of the boat. I LEARNED THAT THE HARD WAY LOL
@@totallynotaminecraftchanne1923 😂😂😂
That is possible, but how many planks you would actually need to craft multiple boats if you're being attacked by multiple endermen? And you can't even stack boats!!
@@syedfardeenahmed2592I know this was 11 months ago, but if you plan on using boats you should probably just... kill them 1 at a time? I feel like thats pretty obvious
I really enjoy your guides. They are straight to the point and have been my go to guides now that I seen them. Thank you for what you do. Keep it up man!!!!
(like stone tools and leather armor)
dying isn't a problem if you're not carrying anything important.
Later, you can have an Iron farm and exp farm, so even iron armor and enchantments will be easy to get.
at that.
Don't bring diamond or netherite equipment there until you know what you will find there and you're confident that even if you die, you can at least reach safely the place where you die to get your items back.
I almost lost my diamond pickaxe 😅
Really helpful stuff here. This whole time I'd been planning to craft fire resistance potions from scratch. Never occurred to me that you could get them from trading with piglins. Much easier.
Great video. Just please differentiate some of your tips, as they only work Java, cause you might have someone die in their nether journey on bedrock
Yeah
Or just know what Minecraft RUclipsrs your watching. Not every mc RUclipsr plays both versions. This guy will never differentiate between the two versions because his older viewers already knows he's exclusively Java edition.
@@DEATHMASTER30001 if you’re going to make a “guide” video. I’m clicking on it for a specific reason. And if the video is telling me info I can’t use because I don’t have that version, there should be a disclaimer/ notice that says which version this works on IN the video, not one 3 years ago cause he’s a Java player. It’s borderline clickbait
@@craftingtyre23 I see your point, but I apologize for being so repetitive: it just goes back to you knowing what RUclipsr you're watching. For example That's like saying I got clickbaited from a muselk, (mostly famous for Fortnite but is also extremely popular for other games like overwatch), because I wanted a Fortnite video but instead got an overwatch video. It just boils down to knowing what individual your watching. Otherwise I'd specify what exactly your going for, (EX: bedrock exclusive tips) And assuming you already did, and it still led you here then yea I do kinda feel bad that it somehow still led you here.
@@DEATHMASTER30001 his video is one that came up in the search results. It’d be unreasonable for me to have to research and watch older videos of someone when I’m trying to look for a specific topic. Afterall, I couldn’t know his tips were only really for Java until about halfway through it. If his vid would come up in popular search results, there could be parenthesis that say Java, or a footnote at the start that says some of these don’t work on bedrock.
Excellent as usual and honestly FASTER than trying to comb through and absorb everything from the wiki!
I have been playing minecraft since it came out and I still learn SO much from your videos! Thank you for making them!
Soul speed enchantment on your boots will change your life in the soul sand valley... I only have soul speed ll and it's definitely fast enough!
yea i love exploring the neather the most in the whole game
@@taniaphillips3124 piglins don't spawn in soul sand valley, so if your nether portal takes you right in the middle of a soul sand valley, it's difficult to get out.
One of my survival worlds was completely ruined by an unfortunate soulsand valley nether portal, very high up and suspended over a massive ocean of lava. After tunneling for a while in both directions, I had nowhere to go :D
We need an END survival guide!
Yes!! That would be amazing
I’m can’t really think of any good tips other than potions of slow falling, feather falling boots, and maybe pumpkins on your head.
0:57 i think a lever would not be very helpfull. use a button instead becuase a lever you have to flick on and off and when there are 10 zombie piglins after you you simply dont have the time for that. the downside with the button however is that it stays active for a bit allowing maybe 1 or 2 piglins to get inside. this only happens after they are right behind you, which i doubt since you are probably running for your life when you need your portal panic shelter (sorry if there any typo
eyecraft Mc makes the most thorough minecraft tutorials hands down
You just earned a sub! Thank u for ur informational videos, ur calm voice makes my day
Awesome, thank you!
I’m so glad I was finally able to like… build an actual base around my portal, because every time I’ve spawned in the nether it’s in a completely uninhabitable area 😭
That's what the nether is
I picked up playing Minecraft about a month ago, at the young age of 32.
I lost like over 3 stacks of diamonds and more valuebles in the bassalt deltas biome
There is very rough terrain and lots of magma cubes which deal LOTS of damage and if you kill them it gets worst because they multiply and harder to deal with also ghasts
That definitely sounds very close to the most unlucky nether portal possible, yikes.
One trick you can use to deal with flowing lava : dig a 1 block hole next to your feet. The lava will flow into it instead of into you
It’s the skeletons that get me. There’s a soul sand biome right next to my portal area and they’re always shooting me and ghost be blowing me up too
For the ghast you can use a sword to punch back the fire ball and you can also use that to damage it
Thank you for this video. I have been dying to piglins left and right. It's been awful. So much iron armor has been lost..
This gets recommended to me the moment I get to the nether in my biggest survival world I’ve ever had? Thank you, algorithm
Thanks man, i just got into Minecraft and ending up loosing my gear to the nether. Now next time I'll at least be more prepared
Haha! Excellent ending.. great tips! Thank you! My favourite, the warped vine, did not know that! Love these vids
Btw there is a simple way of dealing with the zombiefied piglins when you need rotten flesh. If you can kill the mob in one hit, the rest do not become hostile
You need a smite 5 netherite axe to one hit.
@@poseidon__93 I think if you kill them with a bow from long distance, they won't aggro
@@romariomejia5396 yeah bows do more damage than a sharp 5 netherite axe🙌

Honestly this video is pretty darn helpful!! These tips are pretty gooooooooooooood.
If you go to a soul sand valley in bedrock edition you get destroyed because there's so many skeletons and ghasts
That was the case in early 1.16 snapshot as well, it seems to be a common issue where bedrock developers don't listen to feedback.
The phantom for example was nerfed following unanimous backlash, but on bedrock the phantom still deals massive damage
10:09 the piglins also become agressive when you mine nether gold i think
piglins become aggressive when you mine any gold block including gilded blackstone and nether gold ore
always carry lava and water bucket with u.
In nether lava bucket can help since u can go 3-4blocks up make 3 more block there and pour lava on 1 and kill those piglins.
Powdered snow can also be used to prevent all fall damage. Similar to the vine, spam the bucket as you fall 😊
Small correction foe the bow, you only need power 1 to one shot ghasts
Pro tip. Always bring a ender chest if you can get access to one. And you should probably bring a silk touch pickaxe to be able to pick it up without breaking. Cs looting nether structures you tend to run out of space quickly
My day starts with ur videos
We discuss this things with our friends
20:59 that skeleton is a paid actor
i would highly recommend using fire resistance potions and slow falling potions. when you have good gear the mobs aren't too much of a problem but falling to your death and dying in lava is an easy way to lose all of your max enchanted diamond gear (speaking from experience). Also, not nether related but taking the time to get into potion crafting is incredibly useful.
Man, i've been playing Minecraft for so long, I don't need to be spending my time on these videos. But I like your voice and your vibe and it's too easy to just let Autoplay work its way through your entire channel
This Was EXACTLY what I was looking for tysm
You can always build an Arrow to point yourself in the direction you need to go. Dig into the floor on a 3x3 box on two sides, then give it a 2 block tail. Any variant of this works. Even a 3 block line with a 2 block arm.
or random pieces of cobblestone placed as you walk
All of these cool tips and tricks, yet I’m so surprised he didn’t bring up the boat method of trapping endermen, these videos are still so cool, keep it up!
i never thought id progress so far in the game that i needed this video
Just a little tip, wearing a gold helmet can actually stop the piglins from wanting to chase you at all!! I always keep a few in a chest in my portal base just for that reason
You can also use splash water bottles to survive from fire in nether
Crossbow with Piercing IV can quite dissuade a ghast. If they're so far away that you can't see them but they are still spitting fireballs, make them find you in a nether forest or behind some blocks, so they have to get closer.
17:35 he forgets to mention another awesome fact about netherite equipment. It doesn't burn in lava. it will literally float on the surface. I know a lot of people know that but when you die and lose everything it's very satisfying to know you still have your tools and armor
I’m new to Minecraft and not that great at it and the nether just really scares me idk why it just does so thank you
For the porkchops you could just make a campfire and not have to constantly fuel your cooking.
I'd suggeat bring a book&quill is more useful.
Yeah get a written book! Much easier
15:10 An even cooler method would be making a soul campfire, and cooking them on that. Eerie eats!
11:20 you can actually run far, dig a 2 block deep hole and make a 3 block tall pillar next to it, then sneak at the corner of the pillar to get the piglins to run into the hole.
You can scare away the hoglins using warped fungi or placing them when you sense one attacking you,
There is a chance in which piglins attack you in the first step you take into the nether, So i recommend you to keep a golden helmet or boots with you, You could easily get one by killing Rare Zombies in the overworld which wears golden helmet, They can be mostly found in coastal villages...
Please note about facing piglin brutes, They are not stupid or foolish, They will even attack you if you have gold with you..
About ghasts, There are two choices, Either dodge the fireball or what i recommend is returning it back using a sword, Any sword can work tho..Or you could just go and kill it when it's distracted
In zombified piglins, i have escaped one and made it passive, Just run way fast away from it until it's out of your view, If you have a speed potion, your lucky
I love your informative videos
I know this is an old video but Warped fungus is absolutely vital to dealing with Hoglins, I would even say that it's a necessary part of safety proofing your nether fortress.
Thank you. Great narration, great succinct information, great content.
Thankfully when I respawned and zoned back in, they were gone.
damn these are some useful tips, ill def be using the vines and the spectral arrow ones
