How to get permits for The Wave - 2021 UPDATE!
So you want to go to the Wave? Of course you do. The Wave is awesome. Here is a video from a previous trip:

So why should you listen to me? Well, I've tried to go twice, and I was able to win permits both times. It took some doing, for sure. The Wave has the most difficult permit process that I've ever experienced. And it's worth it.
I highly recommend you check out the trip video (and the one I recommend from another channel in that video) because if you land permits for the Wave, you want to see everything there is....Not to mention it makes the experience even better when you have seen Top Rock Arch, The Alcove and Melody Arch.
Anyway, the rules are always changing. There have been 7 or so changes since my last Wave permit video from about 18 months ago. So I figured I should make this one to give updates and hopefully help you understand what can be a confusing process.
