Hi Tina. Your socks 🧦 are beautiful. Love the yarn 🧶 I’m sure Gary thought about it long and hard when he made the decision that it wasn’t the right time to go to Spain. At least this way you have something really wonderful to look forward to next year.
Tina, I think y’all are so wise to wait for the move. Moving in the midst of a Pandemic would be twenty times harder than moving in just a plain old ordinary year. Enjoy your time where you are now. The “sister” socks are beautiful!
England is one of the most beautiful places on earth! I lived in many places now in NZ I plan to return back as soon as I can! Spain is lovely and will be there after all this is all over !, Be safe and be well x
Tina, I am sorry you have to put off going to Spain and seeing your other home. I love it when you show all your crafts on this channel. You a and your husband enjoy your day trips, time will fly bye and you will be at your new place soon.
Thanks for the update. Speaking as someone who no longer works outside of the home you will be able to fill your time up quite easily and soon wonder how you used to have time to work, lol. I love seeing your knitting and stitching content and really could listen to anything crafty. Congrats again on the apartment...you'll get there. Hugs, Valerie
Hi Tina. Pleased that u got yr apartment. Sorry to hear u won't be going this year. But better to be safe than sorry. Least u will have some time together. Something to look forward to next year. Still got everything crossed for you both. Still looking forward to seeing yr designing and how u progress in that. I'm going through yr knitting video tutorials. My grandmother taught me the basic basic when I was a child. Unfortunately she lived a hundred miles away and only done knitting a few weeks every so many years while visiting. Didn't get very far. Thanks to u I've knit a pair of socks and a jumper, now doing harvest cardigan. 😊 thank you Tina. Love yr socks. Anyway take care, have a great week and catch u again soon.
I'm so happy the knitting videos are helping. I made them so long ago . I'm glad I didn't know how many people would use them it would have been too intimidating. Happy crafting x
On the bright side, you have something wonderful to look forward to next year. I am forever grateful to you for all of your knitting tutorials, I hope you won’t take them down. I always refer to them if I need a refresher and I’ve referred my friends to them also. Thank you Tina🤗
I am sorry that you are not able to go to Spain right now but hopefully when you're able it will be easy peasy and a wonderful experience! I bought a skein of Regia cotton yarn this summer to knit socks for my husband who wears his wool socks to church all year long! 🤐 😂 I haven't started on them yet, I will probably start next spring. I made my daughter's Christmas socks last year from the fairy lights yarn and I just bought the new Silent Night skein, it's so beautiful!
Sorry you can’t do your Spain trip at the moment, but it isn’t worth risking yours and others health I agree. I sincerely hope both of you remain healthy and thriving 😊. Thanks for the WYS Christmas yarn info....I love their yarn ! I’ll be checking my local shop tomorrow . Always a pleasure to see you here and appreciate knowing what’s going on so don’t worry unnecessarily . Take good care *hugs*
Hi Tina, Sorry about you having to hold off on your trip!! Id want to go just to actually see it and sort it out...but these aren't normal times. I agree on having different types of projects...I think our brains need that. Take care. Hugs
Aww. Sorry your plans have been scuppered Tina. Just look on it as a temporary delay. It makes sense & you have it all to look forward to. You'll get there & it'll be great & we'll worth the wait I'm sure. . Plus, just think how ship shape your home here will be! 🙄😂 Take care xx
It's a shame you have to wait to go to Spain but it's probably for the best for the moment. On the positive side you have an unexpected block of time where you can get everything organised. Now you are not working time will zip by. I liked seeing your knitting at the end of the video. I cannot get on with those 9" circulars. Take care and enjoy your time off. Xxx
Sorry for your disappointment. Sometimes it’s not fun making the adult decisions! I’m sure you will find plenty to keep you busy. Love your stitching, but I enjoyed seeing your socks as well.🙂
Ah, sorry you aren't going to get to Spain soon. Its probably the sensible decision - being an adult is a bit rubbish sometimes! Love the wool. I keep meaning to have a go at socks but haven't started yet, that blue wool is very tempting though.
Hi Tina, very pleasant for you both the apartment went through. Sorry you are not going on holiday, but i think you have made the right decision. Just think you have so much to look forward to for next year. Enjoy your days out. Your cross stitch coming along nicely, also a lovely wool choice. Look forward to your next vlog. Take care Dotx
Hi Tina, A shame you couldn’t go to Spain, better to be safe at the moment with the way things are. Love your socks:) I’m am knitting a waistcoat, for my grandson, I love sewing knitting cross-stitch any thing crafty I will have a go at😀 Take care KimXX
So happy for your purchase but I worried about you traveling right now I think it is the right decision even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Love your socks I need to get back into some. Finished a sweater and knitting has taken a back seat to my stitching. Happy stitching Patty
I feel your pain Tina. We work during the summer season so that we can travel to Europe over the winter months (in our motorhome) along with many others. We too have decided it is not sensible to travel this year.
How kind of you to let us know about the apartment and your updates. I am not a knitter, but I love to see your knitting. Looking forward to seeing your videos when you decide to film again.
That stinks Tina, but I don't think you would have enjoyed yourselves as much as you should. You are right to use this time to take care of things at your current home and make plans for the future. Maybe you will get all that beading finished, lol!
Hi Tina, I hope you will be able to go there next year. This virous is so bad that we have to follow the the rules so we can get rid of it. I love seing your knitting and stitching, I hope we will see more of your knitting. I don't remember if you have a tutorial on making socks the way you ae knitting the summer socks. Please you and your husband stay safe and well and have a nice vacation anyway. Hugs.
Thank you so much. My summer socks are my usual apart from a shorter leg ( I go quite long in winter) and square toe. I knit further 1inch shorter than my foot before decreases. Kitchener at 32 stitches . Easier on the hands with 9" circulars 😁
Hi Tina, I love your videos and seeing you and hearing about your plans. So basically you are free to go, but not Gary as he's still working. And, thus, quarantine time in Spain or, when coming back to the UK, is not going to work, is it? Plus, of course, you do not want to catch the virus. I agree with you, it's just too dangerous and it doesn't feel quite right. It's bloody annoying. I am sorry for you. Let's hope next year will be a better year. 👍 At least, you don't have to worry about Tom for the moment. This summer angel seems to need a lot of beading. 😅 See you soon, stay safe and happy stitching. Michaela
Summer Angel is beaded to the max . Never has someone procrastinated over it for so long . I could almost hear everyone shouting JUST GET ON WITH IT . Take care x
I do enjoy your videos and did not realise you also have knitting vlog...where can I find these? I luv your socks and have only recently started knitting them on circular needles 🤗
Hi I'm not on the knitting channel at the moment because I'm cross stitching so much but there are tutorials over there . It's Simply in stitches if you would like to take a look x
Sorry about your trip to Spain. Something for you to look forward to. Could you please tell me what pattern is the October pillow that is on the shelf behind you? I love all of your stitching!
It's the Joyfulworld SAL from Facebook. It's a free set of patterns when you join the group. It was a few years ago but I'm sure will still be available x
Hi Tina, I have a question regarding beading. Can you simply use the stitching needle or are beading needles different? See you in your next viseo. Michaela
Hi, beading needles have a tiny eye for the bead holes. I couldn't get on with the long thin beading needles I prefer short sewing (dressmaking) needles . I'm no expert but it feels better for me . Happy stitching x
I've just knit a whole sock on 9" circulars but found it so difficult to do the toe. I need to use DPN's but am scared of them :( Did you say that you do the toe with 9" circulars Tina? Please can you recommend the pattern for a square toe? Thanks for the vlogs x
Here is a link to my toe tutorial. Have have changed since then . I start decreasing 1 inch shorter than my longes toe and decrease less stitches . I'm sure I go down to 32 stitches . This means 16 stitches each side for your kitchener cast off. I hope this helps ruclips.net/video/llKWr8SOqPE/видео.html x
Simply in stitches still has my tutorials but I'm not active on there due to not knitting. Maybe I will knit more in the future but I'm getting more enjoyment from stitching at the moment. Take care x

Tough decision but probably the right one under current circumstances. Something amazing to look forward to next year! Have fun daytrippin’ xx

You should try socks they are far easier than they look x
My husband bought me that book for my birthday. Thanks for the recommendation!
Enjoy, it has great designs . Apparently there is going to be another so we need to get stitching LOL x

Bummer! Glad you can spend time with hubby etc. BTW isn’t “Should I Stay if Should I Go” - wasn’t that The Clash?
After 3 glasses of prosecco I could have been singing anything LOL x
