It's amazing to see your full coverage pieces. I love them! I am working on 2, but I am very slow at it. I'm glad I found you and can't wait to see more.
@@funwithcrossstitch thank you Sharon, I have been following you since you started your channel and love your flosstubes. I’m also doing the Safari game.
What a wonderful 1st flosstube, I love full coverage and mainly stitch on 25/28 1 over 1 to make the projects smaller. Your projects are beautiful, and your progress is impressive……thank you for sharing with us!!
Anne....Im so glad i ran across your Very 1st Flosstube. You did Amazing and are a Natural at this!! Really loved seeing ALL your Amazing wips and progress on them and already looking forward to your next flosstube. I subscribed and rang that bell 🔔 so i wont miss your flosstubes from now on. Happy stitching, JoDee 🥰
I also have a preference for max colour, and admit I am envious of your projects and progress 😊 I’ve subscribed and can’t wait to see how you get on with these.
Hey Anne I am from Victoria love your first flosstube will be watching your flosstubes all the time I myself have just started doing cross stitches in max colour
Fabulous stitching. You sound like me…..always use a scroll frame and park when necessary! Have been stitching a HAED for four years, just the one as I hope I live long enough to finish it!!
I am stitching on Queen of Nature as well! I started in the middle which is the woman. I am not stitching the whole thing... I'm going to work down to the bottom & stitch to the edge of the dress then work my way to the top... I don't see a reason to stitch that whole background!!! I look forward to seeing your progress!!!
Beautiful projects. I look forward to watching you progress. I also stitch on 22 ct fabric but i use 2 strands. I will always choose max color too. If one is going to stitch a massive project you might as well go all in and do max color. The difference is definitely worth the effort in my opinion. Great first floss tube.
What a great range of projects! I would like to know how you progress through/choose which project you will work on? Do you have any finishes? So happy to see another Australian flosstuber
Wow! Beautiful! I love the bunny in the Christmas project and really look forward to the one with the fox. You need a light facing you so that your projects may be seen better; it does not have to be a ring light, but a true color light would be best.
@@angiefittro8372 thank you. Yes I am trying to work out a better way to film, my phone was better light but then it was too big to upload. Lots to learn.
Great video. I'd love to see how you store and manage your floss. I am currently setting up for a new start, Home in the mountains by Golden Kite and it requires 120 colours and 80 blends.
Hello Anne. That was a very nice visit. I hope you'll continue to share your stitching with us. I like full coverage stitching also. Do you have a favorite full coverage company, HAED, Charting Creations, etc.?
I too love finding a fellow Aussie flosstuber 👋🏼🎉 Your projects are nothing short of amazing and I love how many have cats! Do you have cats too? Great to meet you :))) xxx
Love love love that you are solely a full coverage stitcher. Your WIPs are amazing! Is it Zweigart 22 count fabric that you stitch on? Also I noticed you used some sort of tape to prevent fabric from slippage on your Omanik scroll frames? What a great idea! What kind of tape is strong enough to stick and use and does it damage the wood on the rods? Looking forward to seeing more of your videos plus all your progress.
@@claraarellano1867 I prefer to stitch on 22 count Oslo. The Zweigart 22 count (Sulta) is very stiff and I prefer a softer fabric to stitch on (like evenweave). I just use masking tape as I find when I try and put the rods through the frame, the fabric goes crooked. So it’s more for when I first put the fabric on the rods but I just keep it there.
@ Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I will go look to see if I can find 22 Oslo here in the US. Good idea on using masking tape. Enjoyed watching your 2nd video as well. Take care!
It’s so nice to come across a new Australian flosstuber ☺️ I love your projects too! I’ve heard 22 count is great for 1 over 1, where do you get large enough pieces from?
Well done! May i suggest you roll your projects in the opposite direction so that the backside of your fabric is what you touch not your project. It keeps the oils on your skin from depositing on your piece.
Hi, welcome to flosstube. I have questions; do you put your frames on a stand or hold in your lap? What frames do you use? How much stitching do you do in a day? Just 1 suggestion when you hold the project in front of your face I can’t hear what you’re saying.
@@jackiturner9228 thank you. I have a Gus creation stand and Omanik frames. I put a photo of my stitching setup in my second video. I do at least 600 stitches per day and more on the weekends. Thank you for the suggestion, I realized that after I have recorded and watched it back.
