I'm actually enjoying collecting these cards... my youngest son wanted some so I decided we could collect together we're both trying to collect master sets of the new expansion set surging sparks. It's been fun
Flygon and Torterra were both active attackers in the FlyTerra deck you mentioned - Flygon Stall was a different sub-species of the archetype. The strategy revolved around Torterra continuously healing off damage with Giga Drain + Expert Belt while getting extra bulk from its LvX + Nidoqueen. I'd also argue regular Flygon from Rising Rivals was generally far more important than its LvX.
I forget the edition, but I remember being oppressive with a pure dark type Hydreigon (normal evolution). It was only in casual settings though, so never tested against tournament teams with billions of exs or megas.
@@BurtsPTCG I don't have the card on me, but I believe it was the sun/moon crimso invasion one. I believe I got a few from the "Destruction Fang" S/M deck box, but I know I pulled a few myself too. Looking on tcg player it isn't the strongest hydreigon at all compared to the newer Sw/Sh ones, but the ease of mono dark use, and the ability, allowed them to feint attack gx's/exs.

Would you say Applin with the Withdraw move (Flip a coin prevent all damage) was the the best one to use in an Expanded deck or would you go with one that can do some damage prior to evolution? Another great video mate, your love for the game is obvious and really shines!
Stormfront Gyarados is my favorite Gyarados of all time. I made a hilarious meme deck with Mew Prime to put a Gyarados into the Lost Zone and attack for 120 damage with all four Magikarps in the discard pile.
Is Blissey in this video? It's not in the gen 1 section (skips from Galarian Weezing to Kangaskhan, which skips Chansey's spot), gen 2 section (skips from Miltank to Raikou, which skips Blissey's spot), or gen 4 section (skips from Bronzong to Spiritomb, which skips Happiny's spot)
True but didn't have the greatest of worlds run, not even a top 8. Deluge got a top 4 and a win so was an easy choice for me 🙏 Unowns are probably fair but hand was fun to talk about. Super unique deck 😂
Lost origins lax has won worlds in seniors, won a champs league, won ocic, laic senior and regionals too. Definitely more notches in its belt then block lax
@ it has a good resume, but it wasn’t the focus of any of those decks. It was an extra attacker in Lugia or other box decks. Block lax features the snorlax as its main Pokemon and it has been tier one for a year now. U can make an argument either way though thinking about it
@JudgedByBunji yeah I guess it depends on what you value more, being a build around or results as an alternative attacker. Fro what it's worth it did take me a while to choose between the two 😂😭
