I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

My Mom passed away young so I see any sign of aging as a badge of honor. Everyday is a gift and not everyone gets to grow old.

@@racheljamie1 ❤️ 🫂 I am so sorry about that loss. Losing your mom is hard at any age but to lose her when you're young is a terrible thing. You are speaking from a unique perspective and it's a good one. Getting wrinkles is a badge of honor. Stretch marks from having a baby or Life changes are as well.
My caregiver lost her mom when she was under two or around two. She was only 31 and had an undiagnosed aneurysm that blew. There was a younger baby at home too and they were alone for a couple of days. Smh 😢

@@NiaLaLa_V I have experienced a lot of loss. I had friends die on their way to see me. This is the summer before my senior year. The caregiver that I mentioned above ended up being related to the only survivor who a is a relative of my best friend from high school. This was the summer before my senior year and. It really messed with my head. I had a cousin die at 19 from osteosarcoma. He was brilliant and so kind.
I'm not mentioning all of them. I'm 50 now. I have lost my dad and so much family and in my friendship circle we lost all but three of us one had cancer. One has cancer and I'm not doing so hot myself. The cancer survivor of that group is in a nursing home. My best friend is alive today in part due to this friend's experience. Fine to make it easy. Her name is Karen. Karen's breast cancer was detected at stage 1. My bestie determined to get regular mammograms and that made all the difference. It's still very scary and very serious and she is only 48.
Last August I nearly lost my daughter and granddaughter at the same time. My granddaughter was born, not breathing and she didn't breathe for quite a while as in 12 minutes. Quite a while and my daughter stopped breathing for a minute or two. They both had magnesium toxicity. She is due again in November but they are scheduling a C-section due to placenta previa and I'm scared. Having lost my dad most of my friendship circle, my best friend has cancer. They're concerned that my mom have may have cancer and my daughter is having another dangerous pregnancy/delivery...
I'm losing my mind. I have seriously developed some pretty serious anxiety and then there's my own health... I have been bed bound for a year even more than a year. You can probably see me deteriorating over the course of writing this. I have to use speech to text and it drives my blood pressure sky high. I have EDS that wasn't found until I was very progressed. Very very progressed. I'm at risk of losing my ability to walk and use my bowels and bladder correctly. It's a race against Time.
I wish we didn't experience so much loss. Growing to old age Is truly a gift.

Crushes my soul that you are feeling this way. Number 1, you are stunningly beautiful. You look 12. I can't see a single wrinkle on your whole face. There is nothing you should ever do to change you face. Your eyebrows look amazing. Number 2, you are so much more than your looks. You have so much to give and share and you are still amazingly beautiful. I remember at 30 I felt old too and thought I was aging. Nope, it wasn't until 50 that I really had noticeable wrinkles and such. You have plenty of time looking young and beautiful. I promise. Do NOT listen to anyone who says anything negative about you. They are jealous because of your beauty and amazing personality.

Funny story about my relationship with aging. Most of my friends had a bit of a freak out as we were approaching 30 while I was cool as cucumber. What really kinda shocked me about my own aging journey was listening to music with my mom and realizing the song "Senora de las Cuatro Decadas," which we used to sing about her and how "someday" she would reach her 4 decades of life. But now she has long passed her 4 decades of life, and soon I will be 4 decades old lol. So while I'm not dreading 40, it is more sombering now. And a priviledge since now I have memories of former classmates who didn't have the fortune to get to live this many years. So bring on the wrinkles and grays, I'm ready!

I'm 70, and just had cataract surgery, which also gave me 20/20 vision, instead of the 20/200 I had previously. When I looked at the mirror, I looked SO FREAKING OLD and my red hair had turned white! The last time I could see myself clearly, I was in my 50's. I never thought I would look any different. What a difference 20 years makes. Not seeing yourself age is not always a bad thing.

I can't believe somebody commented that about your eyebrows and lips! Girl, your eyebrows are BEAUTIFUL, your lips are on the thinner side but you have such a BEAUTIFUL smaller nose, and big eyes and that's why your lips suit you. You are very pretty, and you know what they say - if a girl compliments a girl then it's a real thing 😄 But for real, if you could see yourself in the mirror you would maybe be even arrogant because of your looks. Hi Molly! I’m a sighted person, but I still have a hard time understanding what i look like or how I’m physically perceived. Even with being able to see myself in a mirror, my own perception of how i look changes alot. It feels strange, like what is in the mirror changes with how i feel, what people tell me and sometimes just for no good reason. Also other peoples opinions of what i look like vary for different reasons, like if they like me, if they are used to how i look, how their brain percieves things, their personal prefrences and on top of that I have to figure out if people are being genuine when they tell me what they think. I say all this not to invalidate what you are feeling, obviously it’s still a very different expirience, but to share that the sight is heavily influenced by perception and to hopefully bring some comfort in sharing this feeling of struggle with self perception.

Thirty isn't old, it's finally being grown up. At thirty your face matures, is no longer a child's face. Wrinkles and signs of aging come later.
And believe me, seeing yourself in the mirror only boosts your confidence if you already have confidence. If you lack confidence to begin with, when you look at yourself in the mirror you will see even more blemishes, more imperfections than anyone else has ever criticized. Your mirror image isn't objective. It shows you what you already believe.
You have more reason to feel confident of your own worth than almost anyone else. You have a following of literally millions of people who admire you, love you and want to learn from you. Who else can say that?

I left a comment about your eyebrows once and now I see that I was insensitive, I'm sorry.
I thought you go regularly to microblade and that it was useful to encourage you to research more about what suits you best. But even then I knew I might be wrong about them not suiting you and that I'm not an expert on eyebrows and that no one is, because it's subjective.
And it is such a small detail whether they're one shade "too dark", I always thought you're really beautiful!
Just how I analyse my face more and find more 'flaws' on me because of beauty standards, I start doing that to other people thinking I'm being useful. I will think more before commenting someone's appearance next time.

Molly! Read this until the bottom because I have a HUGE question that I need your perspective on about aphantasia!!
This is a really fantastic video, Molly! I appreciate your perspective souch rn because I can't control my weight anymore due to multiple autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses. And I was the petite-fit girl my entire life up until around 31-32. I'm 35 now and I think a lot of horrible things. I can't work out like I used to and I used to be a personal trainer. My body experiences 300-500+ symptoms and pain. I feel so powerless. The aging certainly isn't helping even though I have always looked young because I have a baby face. Hearing your perspective somehow makes me care less and just feel grateful that I am alive and have a body, despite it betraying me, because I have a man who loves me and two amazing son's. It does make me want to push myself harder though through the pain to accomplish something during this life. I just have to be careful because I experience so much pain, and I have been clean 12years, but if I set my aights too high and feel constant pain, it could be a trigger to use to compensate for the pain. It's a shame we have horrible pain management in this country and the "war on drugs" is the biggest flop, especially with millions of illegals enyerng our country from all over the world- which WILL only affect our healthcare system worse and worse every year and even every month. But THAT is a whole other subject. There is something I am curious about and it is about aphantasia. I have aphantasia (I am sighted) and I wonder if all blind people have aphantasia or just some. Is this something you have ever looked into? This isn't the first time I have has questions about aphantasia and it is a subject I am investigating in a journalistic way, so if you could respond if you see this comment out of the hundreds, please respond!

Me as a blind woman. Because I’ve been blind since six months old. It’s not bad at all growing old and being blind. I have a bunch of handfuls and handfuls of gray hair. And a lot of people tell me it looks beautiful on me.
Also, one thing I like about growing old as a blind person you don’t have to worry about that time of the month or you know having your period. That’s what I like about being blind and growing old. Because me and my sisters, we’re closer to 60 but I’m out of seven kids with my dad side , so old my two sisters that’s a year and two years old is great. I love it as a blind person because I can share my experience to my sisters who fully sided and I can share their fully experience to me as a blind person.

I can see more than you can. My left eye is a prosthetic and sees. Nothing obviously and my right eye on a good day, I see about 200 over 20. But I cannot see my face in the mirror or if my hair is turning a little Gray cause I'm 44 and my body changes disturb me. But my husband says I look OK. Ay, what else is he supposed to say! LO? L. You have a better grasp on makeup and fashion. And clothing than I do because I lost my vision at 30. I know how to put on some tinted. Sunscreen, but that's about it, and I'm so afraid of injuring the I that sees a little that I don't put any eye makeup or anything near it because it's very irritated. Most of the time. Wrinkles are stories of life lived. Laugh lines tell about good times. When my brother died my dad soon after got a new long line on his face, a grief line. I at 33 have small lines in between my eyebrows from frowning a lot, I frown unconsciously when I'm anxious or overloaded. It's okay. Life is like that. I still dye my hair green and buy the blingiest piercing jewelry I can find and it makes me feel good in my body. I remember that the reason my face used to be so angular was an ED and I'm happy that my features are now softer, it looks cute. Change is scary but it is definitely beautiful and necessary.

As someone who's actually a part of the non-existent upper lip club, I can reassure you that your lips are totally normal. You can definitely see them just fine, not too big, not too small and perfectly proportioned to evenly match your other facial features. And most importantly, they look natural, which in my opinion (as well as the opinion of the majority of Men) is far more attractive and preferred especially compared to the current trend of getting filler that will almost certainly be a passing phase. Plus, I can't imagine that all of these chemical injections, that are foreign to the body, being that healthy or safe for us.
Work with what God gave you because you're beautiful the way you are. He made us all individually unique and beautiful in our own ways and these cosmetic trends are really taking away from that, making everyone start to look the same like they came off of an assembly line. It's actually quite sad to see, especially all of these super young Women in their late teens and early 20's that are being told that they need filler and botox as "preventative care" by predatory clinicians and ads online that are preying on their insecurities which have been completely blown out of proportion due to their growing up during the age of social media, where everything is constantly being recorded and photographed and then filtered and photoshopped giving a false perception of unattainable perfection. Unfortunately though, all of these cosmetic procedures are starting to make these young Women look 10, or even 20, years older than their actual age, robbing them from their youthful appearance.

There’s a big difference between fact and opinion. Your face looks exactly as it should. That is fact. There’s nothing wrong with your lips- they suit you well because those are the lips you were meant to have. Your eyebrows are also nice, they are 1-2 shades lighter than your hair which is how it should be for brunettes. The only opinions you should trust are from those you KNOW have your best interest at heart.

Girl you look amazing. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!! As long as you do your skincare like you are now, there is nothing to worry about for years and years to come. You still look younger than you are. I am 47 and it's only now that i think that age is showing a little and you know what, it doesn't bother me as much as i thought it would. It would be weird to tell people i am 47 and i would look like 25. I am the same as you, i am not going to take fillers in my lips or anything. I take care of my skin and that will mean i will age as i am supposed to. When you get older it becomes more about staying healthy. Again, you look amazing!!

Regarding fashion and our bodies "THE look" seem to change as frequently as the seasons. However I never thought about how a person without sight might be affected by unfortunate posts or clueless potential employers. Someone can tell me my hair is bad, but I can go home look in the mirror to be assured that it was not true, just one person's opinion. It is something all of us should be aware whenever we post or verbalize our opinions. BTW adult acne is a concern for me also so whenever the product testing is done, please post. If possible try to keep product regime simple with affordable items that are non-prescription.

But I think in my humble opinion external beauty is overrated. You can feel beautiful no matter what you look like. Beauty is on the inside. And also presenting yourself in a beautiful way does a lot for the sight of others, if that's relevant and you are definitely good at that. 💕🐝

Molly, I can relate to feeling insecure about getting older. I just turned 39 last month, but fiancé pointed out something that made me much more grateful to be the age that I am… because a lot of our dear friends and loved ones passed away before the age that I am now. Age truly is just a number. I say positive affirmations daily and when I catch myself having a negative thought about myself or saying something negative about myself, I immediately come up with three to five positive things to say about myself. That has made a huge difference in my self esteem and mental health. We all have flaws, but that is what makes us unique individuals. And as long as I am taking care of myself (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually), that is what matters. We all age if we are blessed enough to live long enough to experience it… and it is so much more empowering to embrace it than to be self critical of it. And as a sighted person, I think that you are stunningly beautiful Molly and I don’t think that you need to change anything about how you look. 💗

Hi Molly, I’m your same age and I’ve been watching you for maybe 8-9 years. I think you are aging beautifully. As you age, your jaw/bone structure becomes more defined and your face shape becomes for feminine and womanly, I primarily see less fat on your face. Your skin still looks very smooth and wrinkle free, at least what we can see on camera. I wish you could see it, in my opinion you have only become more beautiful throughout the years.

I have all sorts of physical effects on my body and looks thanks to my medical mayhem and disability. I don’t have any teeth anymore, but it’s been 16 years so I’m used to it, dentures have just never worked for me so I have been just fine however the effects of no teeth and no dentures on my jaw are really hitting in now, the fact both my jaw and palate would shrink and change the shape of my face, the look of my mouth and lips if I didn’t use dentures was never explained properly to me until I educated myself too late and it was much later after that before a doctor brought it up.
I have also put on a considerable amount of weight on the last four years since I have had to use a wheelchair full time and a power chair at that, it wasn’t to bad until I stopped smoking two years ago after 28 years of heavy smoking, that when my weight gain went wild!
So my body image and facial image have diverged so much from what it was for my first 42 years it is very hard to work with the new reality, I am getting better at knowing what size and style of clothing I need but the whole blooming thing isn’t helped by my low vision. I have neuropathic corneas, extreme dry eye and heavily scared corneas altogether this really does limit my vision because I really struggle to pick out any detail. Recognising faces is so difficult that I have passed my own children on the street and not recognised them! I went to my youngest daughters school plays but had to wait until the released the dvd before I could actually see my child’s performance.
So very long post shorter, body wrecked by medical issues, disability and self harm (smoking, my lungs are not good), my appearance has detrimentally changed but I’m not able to see the full detail of that changed
Edit because it seems I can’t spell weight the first time and while I’m sucre there will be other spelling, grammar and other errors I’m unlikely to manage to fix them.

Accutane is a game changer if you have significant acne or hormonal acne. Wise to do it before you end up with significant scarring, though better late than never. If doing a less stripping or less overmoisturizing skincare doesn't do the trick, that's the step I would take. It's a one and done and for life, you don't have acne more than a tiny one that some Zapzyt will get rid of by morning and it happened because you forgot to wash your face at night or something silly. I did it at 35 and haven't had a breakout since and I'm 61. It's a bit of a process, but once you're through it, you're set for life with good skin. I've yet to meet anyone it didn't work well for. It's life changing.
Oh and your eyebrows aren't green in case no one told you. lol No worries. Whoever that happened to must have gotten some bad ink or something. Yikes. It makes perfect sense a blind person would get their brows tattooed as that's an annoying thing to try to do when blind I'm sure. I got mine done because my brows are too blond so it was so hard to SEE them to color them in so that I had some.I got a wheat blonde shade that looks very natural with my blonde hair so you can't even tell. Looks the same as when I'd color them in. lol I've considered, though haven't done, a lip line and tint tattoo, faint and very natural, because my lips are pale and the line is uneven. I would guess being blind that could be helpful for you so you didn't have to worry about being so precise, esp w/ a red lip, but you have a nice lip color so idk if I'd mess with it. I wouldn't do anything ELSE to your face though as you have a beautiful face as is, so were I you, I'd only do things that made life easier (like the brows or maybe lipline, maybe very naturalish eyeliner that would also look good makeup-free. I'd never consider doing anything else like botox, fillers, etc. as I just feel like it mostly just looks like you're trying to look younger without actually achieving it, imo. Takes the character out of a face and the emotion too, and as humans, we need that to communicate. Just my take.

I’d be insecure here and there about weight when it came to certain things not fitting me right. At 5 feet weighing 180lbs it’s been hard. But I never was insecure about my double chin. Never noticed it, but hearing everyone complain about there’s, I caught myself looking at mine in the mirror. People need to stop complaining about their self image in public tbh.
Like when my cousin who is a size 6 starts complaining that she’s a whale, what am I in her eyes at a size 16?

I know you can't see it yourself, but you look radiant. Fine lines are also tricky for sighted people to see on camera, too, just so you're aware. In your videos, I truly notice no signs of aging on you at this point. You mention smile lines and lines around your eyes, but those aren't visible on camera from our perspective. The only time I ever notice them in any video is if it's a really close shot of their face/eyes (like in a movie or tv show during dialogue), but your content (and pretty much all youtube content) isn't shot in that style. Also, for the record- I think your eyebrows look great, and I'm a makeup artist!! You have high-contrast features- fair skin with dark hair, so of course your eyebrows are going to be higher contrast than someone with blond or lighter brown hair. It's not wrong- it's the proper color difference for you.
