These deleted scenes would have made the movie so much better imo, and I'll tell you why if you care for context. I recently finished watching Jaime French's video on the film where she pointed out a bunch of plotholes I didn't catch or forgot about the first two times I watched the film. I had that video and this one in my watch later and decided to watch these scenes real quick. These scenes are exactly what I had hoped to see in the film while watching it, the missing context I felt the wrath of the void from, the extended storyline I wanted to see from Violet's songwriting dream rather than her Coyote occupation, the inspirational adrenaline rush I wanted to feel. These scenes had it all. I loved the idea of her ex-boyfriend being in the film; their break-up helped give some of the songs a backstory that the overall cut didn't tell (The Right Kind Of Wrong, But I Do Love You). I also enjoyed how the scenes actually told us of her friend's wedding rather than just randomly throwing us in like what happened. These scenes were meant to be in the film; I cannot believe they took them out like that.
I agree with your view on the plot. Also, I was NOT impressed with the 10th Anniversary special edition. It showed a bit more of Violet and Kevin making love and a longer version of the baseball game with Cami doing a strip tease for the pitcher. Other than that, it was all the same. I still love this movie though!😊
Gotta love the editing team of movies they always end up cutting scenes out that would have made the movie x100 better I think the part is 2 funny (notreally) when she sees someone selling her stuff on the curb and chicky response once criminals start throwing ur s**t out it's time for a wardrobe change 😂😂

Melanie is such a good actress and the queen of accents, but this was not it... It was way too Joiseyyyfied and it was just cringe. Still love her though.
