- The Neptunes (consisting of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) are responsible for shaping music in the late 90's and 2000's! In today's video I will be remaking; hot in herre (nelly), frontin' (pharrell ft. jay z) and wasting time (brent faiyaz ft. drake). I also show you how you can make your own neptunes style track from each era (2000's & 2020's) as well as their legendary techniques and ways which make them the best producer duo in the world!

Not true chad barley makes beats by himself. Chad said that Pharrell comes up with everything and he’s the fill in guy. If anything needs to be tweaked, tooken out or added in, chad is the one who does it. Pharrell has produced full albums without chad and chad hasn’t. If you watch the Neptunes documentary, chad even says Pharrell comes up with the beat, music video and hooks of the songs

Regarding the E Piano sound in Hot IN Heere. It's an actual Wurlitzer. They had the real hardware and used the same Wurli for Senorita. Wurlitzer has more bite when a key is played, than a Rhodes.
I wish u had talked about the work they did for kelis, those are some of their best songs

Most of the arrangement is Chad’s, instrumentation, chord progression, bridge, harmonies, layering, texture etc. He literally plays all the instruments except maybe for drums/percussion…It’s like Pharrell draws a terrible sketch and Chad turns it into Pixar. Kinda sad who gets most of the credit…But ya next time know what you’re talking about before you talk sh*t. Bet you don’t even know music 101.
Pharrell did all of the drums as well as songwriting and vocal production. Chad did much if not most of the instrumentation. All those quirky keyboard sounds, guitar licks, piano, bridges were all Chad.
