RIP Bill McCarthy. A true gentleman, in every sense of the word.
WOW..that was truly powerful. I live just outside of Boston on the North Shore, and see almost everyday the Peabody FD Engine 4 screaming down my street. I always wish them well and pray for their safe return from every call. And for those that don't return, RIP.
The sound of this bagpipe is really deep touching.
RIP to the fireman.
God Bless all Firemen . Very few people would go into a burning building to save some one while risking their own lives to do so . God Bless Billy McCarthy my he rest in peace with the lord .
RIP Billy. Beautiful song. Well played.
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah.
May the God rest his soul.
en souvenir de mes camarades de l'aeronavale mort en mission ou en exercise

merci a vous camarades
I'm also a Firefighter of 22.5 years and a former piper. I admire the dedication the eastern bands have over so many in the west. I also like how the lone piper played the final verse and walked away from the ceremony, very nice touch!
My respects to the fallens family
One hell of a tear jerker. So awesome...
To lose even one...that walk away piper did me in. Rest easy, Billy McCarthy. You are not forgotten.
Only a warrior's soul can produce such beautiful music.
A firefighter who has died, gets this played at the funeral. It is just amazing to me.
RIP, Billy McCarthy. Amazing perfomance and song.
Greetings from Galicia.
whoa....this song shook me up (tearfully and scaringly) i was reading comments, and when the drummers started tapping , i thot it was machines gun i was like WTF! no way someone popped them!
these guys r pretty hardcore to play in freezing weather
i salute u billy even tho i dont kno u
tear in eye...every time
I like to think I'm a hard man but the pipes get me every time.
Rest in Peace Billy. love you
Tears to my eyes, I've buried alot of my brothers and it never gets easier
Nice playing on what looks like a cold day.
Really lovely. Thanks for posting.
Praise God.
Please thank your Da for me, ForBoston523. Even though the band sounded challenged, the spirit was there, and in the end, that is what matters most. As long as the love warms through, even sour notes can be the most endearing.
Amen. Only warriors.
I can't think of a more amazing tribute to a fallen soul.
beautiful and sad. god bless
man im about to cry
R.I.P. Billy
I am a soon to be EMT/Paramedic! I know for a fact No Matter How Tough and How Manly you think you are, this means someone has made the sacrifice. God Be with the Family!
I like to think the lone piper represents the soul of the fallen, now free to depart the funeral and earth to its heavenly home.
God be with you all on this tragic day.
beautiful
R.I.P
GOOD TIME CAROLE
the bagpipe was originally used for scaring the crap out off the English in the scottish highlands in the medievals, beautifull music
RIP
The hardest part of a brothers funeral. Signal 5-5-5-5

I don't really believe in god. This is some powerful stuff.
