Awesome job Brooks! That’s more in one video than me and my son caught on Hartwell all last year 🤦‍♂️. I can’t get it figured out no matter how many videos I watch. Been going every week 2 years now. This is year 3 and off to another slow start. Never found them in winter. Only seen 3 spawning. And according to locals, I’ve already missed the herring spawn. God Bless! Ps, I messaged Dugout and mentioned you sent me but never heard back. It was a crazy long email though lol.

What baitcasting rod length and action are you using for the fluke?

Good work out there Brooks. You think some of those fish with the side sores could be from poor fizzing? Also on the sebile would you switch to chrome with sun? See you later this month with the kiddo!

I’ve had multiple theories to why they get those spots this time of year. I believe there are too many markings to be driven from fizzing. It is associated with the spawn I’m just not exactly sure the reasoning! I would still throw white during sunny conditions and switch to chrome if it was extremely slick and calm! Looking forward to it Cliff!

Hi, what rod did you use for magic swimmer?

I hope this is not breaking a fisherman’s code, but I would like to make a request. I just started fishing within the last year and recently purchased a used fishfinder with sides scan. I have not been able to find any brush piles. I was wondering if you would give me a waypoint that I could go to and use as an example of what to look for. I fish the south end of Lanier. Thank you in advance.

The sebile is a hard body jointed swimbait! I typically reel it fairly quick a few inches under the surface! It is now owned by Berkley and goes by the magic swimmer!

I was targeting brush from 15-20ft along with shallow shoals in 10-15ft!

Does this mean that you pull the sebile luer at about 10 ft down. If so, which version of sebile goes down 10 ft?
