I agree brother. I've got a 1993 Gambler intimidator that's in amazing condition with all of today's electronics. It keeps up with or even sometimes exceeds some of the more modern boats of today. I've got less than 30k all in. I hope that more people see videos like this and don't think you need a 100,000 dollar boat to compete

Absolutely! I was hoping this video would convey this message! It definitely doesn’t put me at any disadvantage and you don’t need a 100k rig to be competitive in tournaments!

Just bought my very first bass rig in 2023 which is EXACTLY what you have here; but, it's the 2008. VERY stable and powerful boat and I absolutely love it! I need to upgrade my push button panel to the rotary style switches that you have on yours, though. I'm running GARMIN thoughout including the FORCE and Livescope w/ 34. Retiring from the working blues in a few very short years and wanted something I wouldn't "outgrow". LOL. Folks always fail to mention that the driver and passenger seating utilizes pedestals and NOT the typical "shelf". The pedestal mounting screws came loose on mine so I upgraded to lag screws that really tightened things up! VERY NICE RIG, Kind Sir! IMPRESSIVE! (Side Note: Just got a NOCO GB70 jump starter for my AGM starting battery...just in case!) LOL.

nice rig. looks in good shape. good to see an older boat that looks like it isn't a sacrifice to the new $$$ rigs.

My seats are surprisingly the originals! The storage is the same as well! I have seen some older boats getting their seats reupholstered and turning out great!

Ive got the same boat, curious what you had to do to reinforce the console for the 12 inch Lowrance. I put a 7 inch HDS so I could still see the speedo and tach, and had to really reinforce with some 1/2 inch starboard poly sheets and some hefty aluminum brackets I made up. I fish Erie and the boat takes a beating, resulting in the trim around the gauges getting all cracked. Need to figure out another mod to clean it all up.
Looks good what you have done.

I had the bass boat technologies mount for the dash which required a metal plate! I ran my boat a few times on Saginaw Bay and had no issues from graphs moving!

How does this boat handle the waves of the Great Lakes, for example: Saginaw bay?

I have the same boat I run on Lake Erie, I've received positive feedback from the co's on my boat.

Was running 2 to 3 footers on a prominent lake here in East Texas which "eats" boats. At no time did a wave crest and/or swamp my 2008 Triton 21X2 and with the 21' profile, we generally "glided" from wave crest to crest. There was some bumps and jarrings, no doubt, though. The weight of this boat with its 54 gallon capacity fuel tank and its wide 96" beam makes it VERY solid when stopped and fishing. Of note: Bass Masters endorsed the Triton 21 footer for their early 2000 tournaments so that should say something about this platform. Love mine!
