one trick i use to install heat exchangers, is to tape cardboard over the cooling fins in either side..install then pull the cardboard out.

Yea, it depends on how the intercooler is mounted. My oil cooler is on a bracket that mounts to the radiator support cross member, and the cooler laid flush against the condenser. So when everything shifted forward for the thicker radiator, it created interference. Hopefully you don't run into too much trouble!

Nice. One thing I discovered is that the thicker radiator interferes with my front mount oil cooler (will have to fabricate a new mount to shift it forward a bit). So you may want to get the radiator installed before you finalize the intercooler mounting. Good luck on your build!

Get ready for some extra work if you have a super charger. It seems the cold air intake does not want to work very well.

Did the radiator fit under the factory radiator shroud?

      Todd Johnson Yes it does.

Scruf's Garage thanks. I have a manual c5. Any issues with it? I’m debating whether it’s worth the somewhat hefty price tag.

Todd Johnson No issues at all. I’ve been very happy with it.

Hey scruff, checkout corvette forum tech section. Looks like Dewitts may change the radiator design on C5’s because it causes the upper hose to lay on the hot abs hard brake lines.

They are saying that it was designed for the early C5’s that didn’t have those lines there.

Just read through the thread. I don't recall having any rubbing issues with the ABS lines, but it is certainly tight clearances in that area. I sold my Corvette a few months ago, otherwise I'd go take a look. You get a slightly better look at that area in the video I did on repairing the EBCM, but it doesn't show the under side of the radiator hose, so it's hard to say for sure. ruclips.net/video/nparu1Gj6QA/видео.html I did really like the DeWitts radiator though, so hopefully they get it sorted out.
