    I have an LS3 car, but with the 6 Speed transmission. is the installation deferent other than the absence of transmission cooling lines?

    How much better is this radiator over stock?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  Год назад +2

      •Drops outlet temperature by 5-10°F across powerband
      •Features a two-row 2" thick brazed aluminum core, providing ideal fluid temperatures on the street and at the track
      •56% increase in fin surface area for optimal cooling properties

    Dont u need to bleed the system for air?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  2 года назад +1

      Yes, we would suggest bleeding the system as well.

    5:55 why did you switch from an open end plug to a closed end?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  Год назад +1

      This depends on the vehicle the radiator is being installed into. Some require a port there, others do not. "Install the appropriate port/plug that matches the stock radiator to the drivers side end tank."

    What size plugs did you use?

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  Год назад +1

      If you are referring to the drain plug, M12 x 1.5

      @@mishimoto I’m sorry I should have been more specific. The plugs you used for the oil cooler/ trans/power steering cooler lines

    • @mishimoto
      @mishimoto  Год назад +1

      These do not need to be plugged as coolant does not travel through those lines. You can leave them open if you do not need them.

    Will this work on an XLR since it shares so much with the C6? Different engine but same 6AT transmission.
