Very Nice! You want to know what’s better than a 306/S trim? A 351/T trim combo! It’s pretty similar to mine, from coil overs to alcon brakes/roll bar/bassani exhaust, very fun! Would love to have those wheels tho, sweet!
Got a 79, and I've only ever driven it once because of how many issues it has. But, I wouldnt mind restoring it someday to be race/show ready. Gotta get rid of the I4
79 Mustangs are very unique. Several one year only items like the gas tank and the inside door handles. Best of luck in your adventures with it. Sounds like you have big plans.
@@PuristMotorsports crazy enough, as of last night I have to let it go. My cousin can't hold it any longer and I dont have anywhere to store it so if my other cousin can hold it for a project car then that'll be good. Otherwise its going to the boneyard
The only thing I hated about the late fox body’s were the steering wheel it was the same one from the Taurus, I like the look of the earlier steering wheels
But it’s leather wrapped on the 5.0 Mustangs. Yeah… that didn’t make it much better. Lol. I would agree that the airbag wheel is bulky and unattractive.
It is very similar in sound to the Flowmaster. It is what the customer put on the car. It is a really good quality product. It's all stainless steel and flows really well. I really like their mid/X pipe pieces. My personal preference is a Dynomax of Borla type sound. With exhaust sound, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
No one is making them at the current time. A short run was made by a private investor about 5 years ago. Best advice I can give is to keep your eye out on all the Saleen for sale groups.
@@PuristMotorsports Thanks for letting me know. I remember hearing about a company that was doing them but were bad quality. Any recommendations for a hood that has some venting but still stockish look to it? This hood would of been perfect imo. Looks great.
lol.different seats and suffers from being to high!wow, head almost out the sunroof if it had one, knees hitting steering wheel.i have the cobra seats in mine and they are higher also but can be adjusted much lower than it seems your can.either way, nice car.have a GT show car that sounds the same with that blower on.
Classic sound on the blower isn’t it? You’re right that the Recaro’s sit high. There is a setup that allows them to be lower but the setup Saleen used in 1992-1993 sets the seat bottom about 1” higher than the OE Ford seats. That setup used the Ford sliders. I used the former in Almost 4 to lower them down. The Wedge Engineering brackets are used with different sliders. A non OE Ford setup. Much better quality IMHO.
Mark is awesome he got me a halo headrest when no body else could.
I know what it's like to drive a non SALEEN blown Fox since I have one, annd it's a blast! Great vids, keep em coming!
Power adders rule!! 🙌 Thanks for the support.
Man, I love the black color Saleen Mustang version so much besides the white color.
The low end torque of the SBF combined with the supercharged high end horsepower is a perfect combination. 👍
Couldn't have said it better Mike. 💪
Crazy this is watt road in Farragut! Had no idea this guy was local!!! I gotta find this shop!
Turned out BEAUTIFUL! I still would love one of those bars 😉
Thank you brother. Keep at it. We're working on the bars.
Nice job Bob -- car sounds really good.
Thank you sir!
cool video, and it looks just as good as when it rolled off the factory 👍🏿
Great video! We want more drives!
Great suggestion!

There's no replacement for displacement. 😎 I bet that your car is a beast!! Thanks for tuning in. Really appreciate you watching and sharing.

Well that stinks. I hope it all works out in your favor.
Beauty I would love to buy it if possible
Where can I find restoration items for an 88 saleen?.some interior and body decals, etc?
The parts division of Saleen has several offerings for the fox cars.
www.saleenperformance.com
What camera are you using for the vlog footage? Looks great love this content
It's just a couple of GoPro Hero 7's and some Tascam mic belt packs. Thanks for the kind words.
are autos faster then stick?
A really well built auto can be faster in the 1/4. But there are so many variables that weigh into that.

Hey Bob great video!! What do you think of the Bassani exhaust for sound, quality, and performance?

What supercharger? I have my 89-501 with a 331 want to throw a charger on it
It’s a V1 Vortech S trim.
Beautiful ride, we're the hood vents added on? And are the functional?
Thanks! We wish the car was ours. It is a replica of the Saleen 93 SC and SA10 hood. The vents are open so heat can escape.
Got it thanks.
@@PuristMotorsports Where can I get that hood? Thanks

*** WHAT SEATS ARE THOSE !!!!????!!!!*** 😍
They are cloth Saleen Recaro seats. Standard for the 92-93 Saleen's. Leather was an option as well.
