- Some video of my 2011 535i. It has VRSF Catless downpipe and is completely straight piped. It is FBO with JB4 and an MHD BEF.

No it was completely straight piped and converted to quad tips from dual.
Sick.. Would love to do the same but need to pass emissions here so with an aftermarket catted dp perhaps I wouldn't get the full effect you are. I was thinking of doing just this..
...bro pass emissions, and then remove....then reinstall before emissions are due.

Have you tried this set up but with resonators on if you did how did you like it? What was the difference?
Sounds great are you using MHD for burple? If so what duration are you using to get the one loud pop?
straight pipe (muffler, resonator, and catalytic converter) plus a mhd tune can get these results.
i believe the pops can be achieved without a tune, but they aren't as pronounced

I have a question, doesn't it bother you if you have to drive a long distance? Does the exhaust sound not reach the interior of the car?
What size of spacers you run on front and rear? They look so perfect
It had 12mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the rear. The rears had the slightest amount of poke past the wheel well so an 18mm would probably keep it flush

Is the drone while cruising bad in comfort
I sold the car years ago but the drone wasn't terrible in my opinion. It is definitely there but I enjoyed it.

I have since sold it but it was pretty reliable. Needed the typical stuff like OFHG, tensioners, pulleys.

That's the same setup so it should be the same. Maybe the only difference is it wouldn't pop as much since mine had the MHD BEF.

Sound good ! Debating on deleting my resonator on my setup but I feel it would be too loud for daily driving. I have a muffler delete and catless downpipe. Any idea why you shot black smoke at 1:05?
Believe it was just the excess fuel burning from the burbles.
exactly what im doing lol. Catless DP getting installed rn, however, i have mufflers cut out (still has resonator) . my biggest concern is the drone tho. It gets annoying, especially if you're going on a road trip or taking your girl out for nice dinner. im scared it would ruin the refinement
also, is there a huge difference with Catless DP on our setup?
@@wesammmm5432 Yes huge difference. It amplifies the turbo sound a lot and the exhaust note a bit. I think you’ll be happy with keeping your resonator on.
My F10 is completely straight piped and it makes a raspy sound at about 2500-3500 RPM not to mention some drone and it sounds like a diesel truck at times. I’m gonna put the stock one back on.
What kind of tires are those and what stage? Any turbo upgrade? IC upgrade?
Upgraded intercooler with stock turbo. Toyo R888Rs in the rear and all season toyo proxes up front
Does it have transmission flash tune?
Yes XHP Trans tune

How reliable are these n55 535i? I have an n54 335, I wanna go up to to a 535 and I wanna go newer so before I go N55 535 I just wanted to see what owners thoughts were.
2014+ solid !
This car had 130k+ miles and was great while I owned it. They say the 2011 turbos were not great. Id say 2012 and up are pretty reliable as ling as you take care of the common failure points.
@@iAlwaysSpeakTheTruth yeah I was talking to my buddy who works at a BMW dealership he said 2016 and up were really good models they cleared up a lot of the issues. I appreciate the input from both of you the information helps thank you Brothers!!

Roughly 400. Probably closer to 390.
why did u choose BEF instead of straight mhd?
