Thank you for the tip. I have been knitting for 40 years and I’ve never seen this before. I knit very tight, even with chunky yarn. I’ll be trying this today. Again thank you for sharing. ❤
Hi Ann, Thanks for your video. I'm not a very experienced knitter and I saw you doing something in the video that I have never seen before. When you do a knit stitch, sometimes you pick the yarn from the front and sometimes from the back. Please help me understand why and when you do this. Thanks a lot. Catherine
Hey Catherine. I am doing it depending on how i grabbed the yarn in the previous round and whether it was knit or purl stitch. You do not need to worry about it at all, this is the way i knit. Just knit and purl the way you usually do it.
So if I understand correctly there's a 'yarn over' between two stitches of the cable, and in the next row you just lose them to make the cable more loose.
This is amazing! So, essentially you are adding yarnovers to allow more yarn so the cables can expand, Absolutely brilliant!
Yeah yeah. I like this method too

Wow! I can’t wait to try this. I had to stop working on my cable project because wrestling with my too tight knitting was hurting my joints.
I hope it will work for you.
Thanks so much for your video. I’m new to cables and tend to be a tight knitter. This has really helped my cables lay so much better.
Thank you for your feedback ☺️
Fantastic! this is a great and simple idea! My cables always look awful so tight! tnkss
Happy it helps

Very useful trick
What if you have a 3x3 cable instead of a 4x4 cable?
Make less yarn over. Or what is your question exactly?
Thank you so much! This is a big help.
you are welcome :)
is this method used for the baby romper in part 1 because you shown differently
I do not remember using this method for baby romper. I night said you can use. This method is for super tight knitters
