Damn that's a great set up. Dude has it tuned rite! Skar is starting to impress me more and more. That would be an everyday driver from hell. Great job Jacob
Taramp's for the win 🏆Good electrical ,mounting so they want vibrate and don't wire them below the ohm load specs of the amp and you are good, o almost forgot at least 8 gauge speaker wire. Hope that helps anyone looking to buy one. I researched a little before I purchased one. When you figure in your final ohm load after wiring your subs should you consider rise ?
Jacob, thanks for the videos. - I suggest promoting the following amplifier purchase and install concept for those looking to grow their systems: Because power increases are relatively inexpensive as you progress through certain power ranges, purchase the amplifier with the most power overhead that you can afford, and then reduce the power output to match the subwoofer rating. Change the gain while measuring the output voltage of a test tone: Power(watts) = (AmplifierTestToneVoltage*AmplifierTestToneVoltage)/ResistanceSubwoofers(Ohms) This power overhead will lead to lower amplifier heat (think big engine, pushing a small car). If over-done, you will be ready to go for additional subwoofers when you want to upgrade, just change the gain, no major electrical rebuild required. -- You can also set your amplifier to higher gains than RMS on a quality subwoofer -- if your subwoofer has the mechanical and thermal capacity -- to achieve high spl levels for a short duration: like a burp, or song demo. Best of luck. Keep up the hard work.
How can those amps put out so much power with only one set of inputs? I just blew my vfl comp 8k beyond repair. Im thinking of getting a orion amp. Or one of these taramps. Not sure yet
Need some help here Jacob. With just one run of 0ga wire is enough to power up a 2nd battery ? I have one xs power g34 in front and one g31 as secondary running a deaf bonce aak4000.1
Always best to double up if able but 1 run of 0 gauge should do fine for a 2nd battery for sure. Solid d3100 in the back man! Thanks for always watching Astronaut! I would recommend doing 2 0gauge runs to be more efficient.
Usually an efficient enclsoure should do very well within a half an octave of the tuning areas so in a 20hz and 40hz tuning it should do well into the teens up to the 50hz ranges.
Dude I just saw an old metallic green Astro van in the junk yard ,man it was meant, can't believe it was in there,I guess it had a bad transmission, bit man I wish it was mine.
i wish you would of got a better video of the under spider venting of those subs so we could see the voice coils, otherwise fantastic video, also what songs were used here? i gotta say skar audio is really starting to impress me... especially their subs.... they did a great job designing them..
So what if I have two 2 ohm subs and two 4 ohm subs 🤔 could I wire the 2 ohm subs to half ohm then the 4 ohm subs to 1 ohm then have a final impedance of 1.5 ohms?? I’m not gonna do that just a what if 😂
Jacob im a subscriber u forgot to mention the Taramps He is able to run all those on one amp because its a Taramps Brazilian amplifier they are full range they are big in Brazil they put 20 subs on one amp when hooked up right i have 4 12" pioneer premier spl 3000 watts apiece being powered by two 3000 watt Taramps HD 3000 watts to each pair its the full range Taramps guys wouldn't recommend anyone trying to put this many subs on other brands look out for a hot amp if u do and the Taramps crush the amp dyno they do over rated power these Taramps are meant to power all the speakers u can afford to buy lol look them up in brazil they put 20 subs on 20k watt Taramps
Do it from the C-PILLAR.. #RealCAstaysInCpillar Troll Away..These goofy ass systems only using the front half of a vehicle??How can it NOT be loud?Just dumb!! It's not real ca...
I disagree. Yes it is air. I have a single 15 tuned low. It is a daily driver and is very musical a 6th order has two peaks. Where air space is visible and you can see subs is the high tuned area. The port in rear is tuned low to 20 on that setup Jacob showed. Yes it is not everyone likes super lows due to heat build up in coils but proper tuning and no damage to subs. That's an everyday setup bro. Not bashing you at all. I just agree to disagree on your thought. No problem with expressing your thoughts.
Damn that's a great set up. Dude has it tuned rite! Skar is starting to impress me more and more. That would be an everyday driver from hell. Great job Jacob
Thank You Kathy!
check my channel i have a 8 15s skar build

My boi killin the competition💪💪💪💪💪
Great job bro. I'm a 6th order guy. No-one likes what they don't understand and a 6th most don't understand. It's the best I've seen. I'm impressed
Whatsup with the low bass systems lately hot damn!
Because the lows are where its at
Crazy front port area! It must play low with that cone area and 24hz rear
Jacob so loyal he didn’t even aim his camera at the chick getting out the van 😂🤷🏾♂️ damn Jacob just tell the wifey you aimed at her for us

Always enjoy your videos
Thanks Brandon! More to come
That thing is slamming. Great work Jacob. 👍
i have 4 zvx 12s in a 6th order on one md8k. What would be good numbers? outlaw on the window.
My guess would be 154s?
@@JacobViral so 156.3 @ 37hz is pretty good.
What's the name of the song playing at 8:00?
Big pokey keep my name out ya mouth slowed
An bass 30k would be perfect for this system @1ohm or .5ohm wonder what he’s running now anyone know ??
Nice setup. Skar subs are getting it!
Sweet system sounds nasty
braaah need to ask these blokes what their port area is and such, please and thank you :3
How many batteries and what size

@@JacobViral thanks for the help i really appreciated 👍. I watch every upload keep em coming 🔥🔥🔥by the way solid numbers on your build 💪💪💪
I have a 4th order blowthrough with 2 nsv4 12s. Ive never heard a 6th order. If u were to tune the 6th 20hz and 40hz would it play 30hz clean??
Usually an efficient enclsoure should do very well within a half an octave of the tuning areas so in a 20hz and 40hz tuning it should do well into the teens up to the 50hz ranges.
The value of the van increased significantly. I'm not a van man but do you have it under control dude.
Dude I just saw an old metallic green Astro van in the junk yard ,man it was meant, can't believe it was in there,I guess it had a bad transmission, bit man I wish it was mine.
Love all the videos
Oh fk that's bad ass
HITTIN HARD on the Boulevard..... What was the name of the two songs he's playing, like to here this in my ride?
i wish you would of got a better video of the under spider venting of those subs so we could see the voice coils, otherwise fantastic video, also what songs were used here? i gotta say skar audio is really starting to impress me... especially their subs.... they did a great job designing them..
It's the bass line taramps better or the HD taramps?
Seems most do Bass Line for Subwoofers, HD for mids/tweeters, or MD for subwoofer as well.
One Taramp pushing 8 15s like it's nothing!!!!
So what if I have two 2 ohm subs and two 4 ohm subs 🤔 could I wire the 2 ohm subs to half ohm then the 4 ohm subs to 1 ohm then have a final impedance of 1.5 ohms?? I’m not gonna do that just a what if 😂

20 Hz not music. Only air. Min. 90 Hz. Must be very high AMP. 3500 AMP. 12v.
