- The Lamley Awards continue with the first Instagram Head-to-Head Tournament. We've selected what we consider the 16 best Mini GT Models of 2023, and now is your chance to pick the Mini GT Model of the Year.
I'll show you all 16 models, and I've used the time to randomly draw the pairings. Afterwards, head to Lamley Instagram and go to my IG Stories to vote in Round 1. Round 2 will begin 24 hours later.

I love the size differences between them
The weights are different as well. The F1 cars are much lighter compare to the Lincoln for example.

Undoubtedly a very strong selection highlighting the very best of MiniGT; the only fly in the ointment being at least six haven’t made their way to Australian shores yet so this is going to be doubly hard to judge objectively. Four remaining are in my collection already another two are in alternate iterations and the rest are on my wishlist. Grrrrr ! this is going to be challenging….! But fun 😁
The Red bull and Alpha Tauri are certainly not the same at all any F1 fan can tell you that.

John, I wonder why not waiting for the remaining 2023 releases. Was there an issue waiting an extra month or even 2024? I mean the GTR Nismo GT500 just released and that is a stunner for 2023
It's difficult because so many amzing castings on the lists 😅
Lotus Type T and McLaren F1 LM are my favourite. The detail on the engine is jaw dropping.

Fun fact: The Terrell F1 race car model was also an transformer vehicle and the transformer was called Dragstrip

I agree they are alll the best haha! Ok for me Mclaren race car, subaru, Land Rover, Lotus, Tyrell, and Verstapen's f1.
MiniGT licensers ain't messing around with these model names. Good selection of Top16.
My tip is the final two will be the chrome purple Silvia versus the McLaren F1 GTR LM winner and the Silvia will win.

I’m rooting for the Lancia and the Lotus.
As a HW fan for a decade I would freely admit that Mini GT is the best right now right up there with Tarmac works. And little by little I am becoming a fan aswell
I love Mini GT, but only collecting Nissan's and Porsche from them. Love them.

A Gulf livery of the Maclaren F1 GTR would be sweet 😊😊😊
There were a few Gulf F1 GTR short tails, but they were royal and navy blue, not the traditional Gulf color. There was a powder blue Gulf F1, but it was a long tail.
That M4 looks humongous to me.
for the Alpha Tauri, I wish the blue was more navy blue than black with a hint of blue. that's just me.
Wow I wish I could collect mini GT but I just can’t afford it or have room for a whole new brand.

Your the reason I’ve gotten into mini Gt, these cars are great I’m so happy to get into mini Gt, such great quality for such a low price compared to the competition!
You know, McLaren G1 GTR and the Impreza are kings of significance and beauty but that doesn't matter because of the craziness around JDM. So we already know the S15 Is going to win no matter the competition. Same last year
