He needs to use Vernon Davis more and Jim Harbaugh does too much and so does Greg roman. They need to unleash him like Pete Carroll unleashes Russell Wilson. @@Derrixk he wasn't the most accurate under pressure, but he was an awesome runner if he got a step. I also saw him make some pretty great throws. I just think that the NFL hated that he was new and making it work when it was strictly a passing league. They hated Harbaugh too for developing a system that utilized it as well. Now I think that it's hypocritical when they seem to be embracing it while purposely blackballing him when he actually put it on the map after Michael Vick.

If we do, then this team isn't going to win. There is a reason this style of read/option is being used less and less in the NFL. It took the league by storm a few years ago and coaches have adjusted. The QBs that are going to have longevity are the ones that can adapt. How many teams in the past 5 years ran this style of offense and won a Super Bowl? Look at the last 5 SB winning QBs (Manning, Brady, Wilson, Flaaco and Eli Manning). Some would say Wilson ran that type of offense, but the Seahawks didn't. A HUGE difference between a running QB and a QB that can run. Wilson is a QB that can run while Kaepernick's sole value is running the ball and his biggest weakness is throwing it. Thats not a good quality to have as a QB at any level.

A few takes I took from this game.. 1. Colin is RAW as F***! And validated even furthermore, why he was the right decision to stay as the starter. 2. Those runs though electric, were also bone crushing to the Packers D -- and the right reads by brotha Colin. This dude was routinely converting 2nd and longs, and 3rd and longs all night. Which is demoralizing to a team. 3. He also thre,w in the neighborhood of 230+ yards, with a pair of touchdowns. Showing the unstoppable potential, of of a true dual threat. And lastly, a few footnotes. Clay Matthews was mic'd up this game, and was trash talking alot with the Niners' o line. I remember him distinctly saying to Joe Staley (?).. "It's not y'all (blocking) it's the quarterback.." lol. And when he kept that zone read for the 60 yard dagger TD in the third. My uncle -- who I was watching this game with as well as with my Dad -- said "Who was that..?" My dad replied "That's the quarterback." My uncle then amazed replied "The QUARTERBACK! WHAT!? Man that's crazy."

I don't think Vance is bad. He had one fumble, but he had a good run. He just needs to bring both arms in and protect the ball before he's tackled next time. But that N-zone pass from Kap was NOT Vance's fault. That was all Vernon Davis's fault. Vance would have caught that ball if it hadn't been for Davis. Davis looked horrible last night; definitely rusty from his time off.

For some reason when JH stopped using the pistol formation (which is his best formation) it slowly started going down hill. Can't blame Kaep too much for a new system being forced on to him when he already had a more than functional pistol offense already in place.

Reviewing the plays, gore could've busted out a lot of long runs if they would've handed off

its a real tragedy..its only because they got good. In fact i only started liking the 49ers after the 2011 season when they re-emerged. ppl dont like winners

Imagine what he would have done if he played in the same style of offense Cam Newton did this year

He's pretty good but he needs to work on being a passer first then run if the play collapsed or its just me that I hadn't watched him play this season
