Yeah I was watching this and I was like he's damn near getting shut out in the first half haha. That's the way he was though teams would work so hard to shut him down but they would get tired before he would then the big runs started coming.

That's how The Bus always ran. He wouldn't have a great average in the first half but the more carries you gave him, the more he'd start to run all over the defense. Wear em down by the 4th.

smithfan22 Have you seen the way Zeke runs though? Hes a good RB for sure, but very line dependent. Im sure coaches love him because he is a textbook RB, fast, hits the hole and goes, doesnt make moves or too many cuts or anything like that, but thats the thing, hes extremely overrated and will never have the physical ability that AP had

Thank you for showing every carry, even the tackles for loss. Some fans think if you’re struggling at first running, that you give up the run but they don’t realize the fatigue a power back like Peterson causes on the D. As someone posted already, he had 200+ yards in the second half after wearing down the D.
Don’t give up, keep pushing and your obstacles will wear down.

The most fun I had watching AP in his '07 rookie year since Randy Moss in '98. The Monday night game where AP and Brooks Bollinger collided in the backfield on the handoff, I thought they would lose yardage. But in the blink of an eye AP was in the end zone for the TD!! Amazing football player.

People also don't realize how good the linebackers were not just in the NFC north but the league at that time. Almost every squad had a dawg for a MLB and some had awesome OLB help. Briggs and Urlacher, AJ Hawk, Clay Matthews a bit later, Lions had Ernie Sims who was a dog, Patrick Willis, Lofa Tatupu, Ray Lewis, London Fletcher, Vilma, Jon Beason sideline to sideline sure tackle machines were abundant.
