I am so glad you love Norway. This is my heritage country my parents and elder sister were born there but unfortunately I was born in Australia. I am proud of my Norwegian heritage and love your portrayal of the scenery. Thank you I am 75 so do not think I will ever see it for myself, so thank you for showing me. My dad was born in Halden and mum in Fredrikstad. ❤❤❤❤
I live in the Soath of Norway. Me husband works in Odda where they are going to. He has a flat there where he stay when he is at work. He is only home at the weekend. Our daughter is there right now. Because she is going to a weeding not to far away from Odda. We live not far from there at all. Lees than 2 ours from Odda. I am visiting the place in two weeks. Have a wonderfull day from me closed to Odda.
I'm from Denmark and we also have "honesty boxes" (What an amazing expression btw) and I've never thought that they might be a special thing in Scandinavia. But it does go well hand in hand with our ingrained trust.
As a Norwegian it’s great to see that people find the hidden treasures also, and not only the “bucket list”. There are so many hidden treasures so the best way to experience Norway is to take that small road and explore 👍
Louise you've really outdone yourself here!!! the music, the footage, the editing, it's all incredible. This is the best video you've vever done. When the drome went up around the 19 minute mark I was just so impressed. Really good work!!!!
@@campervibe Seeing where you going and especially how the baw moves up and down can be an effective way to combat seasickness, but there's a better way. Stand in the middle of the boat while holding on to something firm and feel with your feet how the boat is running and try to "skate" with the rhythm of the movements. This is a more effective way to warn your brain what's about to happen with every wave. This gives the brain more precise information than just watching the bow against the background. This way you will get rid of seasickness within a few hours of practicing. After that, the brain has learnt to predict the movement from the information it gets from your feet and you won't feel sick anymore. I have yet to meet a person where this doesn't work.
Love it, your hikes are epic. My partner is on the road to recovery after 12 years in a wheelchair and we’ve just promised each other we are doing Norway. Challenge on!!! I knew Norway was beautiful, but I may have underestimated the drama. Keep the videos coming, we are loving them.
I needed your comment. I am fighting back from being paralysed. It has been ten years; I was beginning to think I was the only one dealing with such a hurdle. Every day I teach myself what is, basically, pigeon Korean and Mandarin as well as full-blown Japanese for when I can put my backpack on again. That said, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your partner. I hope you get to realise Norway. And if you do, I hope it acts as a springboard to experience other countries, too. Meanwhile.....keep fighting.
Hiking aside as I did not attempt that, I would say, in the hope that it helps you, that accessibility in general is wonderful in Norway. Everywhere really really tries, and as a firm bonus; everyone we encountered was so, so nice and helpful!
You're quite right, for a disliker of glacial water and the scenery it carves out, this series would become a little samey and unenjoyable... but my question to you would be 'who thinks that? Seriously!'
Just got back to the US last month after two weeks there. We rented a camper van in Oslo and drove many of the same areas as you. Many tunnels - many ferries - many waterfalls. Loved every minute. Great hotdogs and sammies at the gas stations. Really so much less pricy than we were expecting by getting groceries and doing the van life instead of tourist towns. Stayed in nicely kitted out rv parks and camps. Driving was quite challenging in narrow road rural towns. Lol. Can’t wait to do it again - maybe way Northern Norway areas next time.
I had the pleasure to live up North in Bodø for three beautiful years. These were by far the best three years of my whole entire life. If I would have the money (rtd. by now) I would go back immediately and would stay there for the rest of my days. The Land of my desire. Greetings from Germany.
Without sounding like a soppy mare, the stunning places you've shown almost made me cry, honest...I doubt I'd ever get to Norway to see for myself, sooo glad you're sharing it all with us, thank you for your videos 😍 Suzy

But the standard of your filming and entertaining dialogue makes it damn close to the next best thing. Bravo ladies, another very well put together vlog. You can’t stop this now, ever! Else!!! 👍

how abso-freakin-awesome was that waterfall. WOW! I'm just absolutely blown away by your Norwegian trip so far. Gob smackingly glorious scenery that called to my Landscape photographer heart. Great track list too which added brilliantly to this episode of you Norway trip. Its been a privilege to experience the journey with you. Thank you :)
Beautiful, amazing, stunning, glorious, impressive, awe inspiring! Thanks so much for letting me experience my ancestral homeland vicariously through you. I think you were wise to wait on the full hike up the glacier. Gotta be safe! You'll do it next time when you've got the proper gear. 😁
Oh I love.you guys so much. Louise you are so supportive of Emily it is so uplifting. You both did brilliantly on that walk. Keep on vlogging... I live for your content!
Omg, this trip is so stunning, every fjord, waterfall and cliff, just amazing! Thank you for taking the time to share it with us. I hope you make it all the way north this trip, and then go back next year for more… 😍

My sincere thanks for letting me travel with you to places I will never get to in real life. Your videos are so well done and joy to watch. Much love from central California❤❤
Our son lives in Odda, so it was fun seeing your trips. We love it there, especially in good weather. The Bondhusvann glacier lake is one of our favorite walks. This was my first video from you, will check out others.
Absolutely one of your best videos, videos from drone stunning and I think you girls have picked the right time to go on walks with lots of smaller hikes and more for us to enjoy through your eyes thanks for taking me on this journey with you xx
27:10 As a Norwegian, I am impressed you avoided the Trolltunga tourist trap. So many foreign tourists only do the top Instagram spots when visiting, not understanding that amazing nature experiences are everywhere in that part of Norway. You can go on a hike next to the popular Insta spots and be alone on the trail and have just as good if not even better views.
what a lovely comment! thank you for sharing such sage advice. I would love to bring my granddaughter to visit your awesome country before I get too old and decrepit and she gets too old to want to hang out with her granny.
I totally agree with this! I was also impressed by how they knew when to turn around, which is something all Norwegian hear as a mantra from an early age: "there's no shame in turning back". There are THOUSANDS of paths, you could spend years hiking the trails and following red T's. Don't worry about finding the "best" ones, it's hard to be disappointed unless you go for the couple of "famous" ones. Make your own adventure, it's going to be magical no matter what!
Superlative! Thank you for your work, as you document your travels, and share them with your subscribers! Even the boat in that small lake is gorgeous, at the end of this video... I think the homes are quite interesting as well, and services for travelers, such as the water stations are well kept and accessible. A beautiful country.
Thanks for sharing your hikes with us! It's always great to experience the non-norwegian perspective, because we who live here sometimes take the nature and scenery for granted and forget to see how beautiful it is here. Tomorrow, my family and I start this summer's vacation with our camper van. Enjoy the roads further up north!
So many vlogs, I often skip through them, but I watch all of your videos, they’re so entertaining and full of useful info, even tho I live in NZ and will probably never see it for myself x

One of your best videos girls. Norway is absolutely blown me away just watching the scenery. Great filming. Unbelievable. I been following your for a long time and this is one of your best trips from what I can remember. I was captured from the moment I opened the video. Your having the best time. Love it ❤️❤️❤️❄️❄️❄️
Come on over-this is a land full of legends and trolls (of which there are one or two in the Parliament here in Oslo..)and yes, it IS expensive here, however it is doable on a low budget as well, if you know where to look.
Just had to pause and say that it's lovely to see Odda again! Lived there for about 18 months. Tip. The series Ragnarok is placed in Odda, but it's called Edda in the show.
You two are brilliant, I’ve just found your channel and will happily subscribe! I was fortunate to work in Norway a couple of years ago in a submarine base near Tromso and I think Norway is incredible, definitely on my bucket list in my camper👍 Keep doing what you’re doing ladies 👏😎
Wow !! The scenery on this video is incredible. We have just come back from a cruise to the Norwegian fjords and we had the most amazing weather. Norway is truly beautiful. I often wish we had a motor home and not a caravan as I would love to tour around Norway. Not really accessible with all those hairpin bends in a caravan
8:23 Even the rocks are smiling at you. I also dance like that when cooking. There is a hidden pearl behind every corner in Norway, what a dreamy place!! Getting better and better everyday. Curious thing for Emily not liking bridges but marrying a Stockbridge.
Where are you on your trip here? As others have noted, the folksy, alternative music is just right for your vibe, it seems. Then you switch the music to match that magical scene at the end of your video with the very still, green water, which is cradling that gorgeous, Norwegian boat...rocks of the area, mountains in the background...Almost tears..

Absolutely loving the Norway videos, We went there a few years ago and had the best holiday ever. Cant wait to see the rest of your travels. fingers crossed you go to Flam.
Walked up and down the North Cape from Holland... almost eleven months nonstop walking...but stunning with harsh weather conditions. Passed over 40 Ferries along the coast many long bridges and dark tunnels to walk back along the Russian border etc...
Your audio and filming skills are amazing to bring all the happiness to the public is a very graceful thing, god bless you both with long happy and healthy life.
This video is absolutely the coolest and most inspirational video out there. Thank you so much for creating this and inspiring many of us to dedicate our lives to the purpose we all are looking for, or have already or about to find. Happy exploring.
Just WOW!! Every episode keeps getting better. Every shot is a masterpiece of epic natural beauty. Your camera work is managing to translate the scope and majesty of the scenery. So well done. Add your spontaneous reactions and commentary that totally match ours at home and it's an amazing ride. It never feels static, like we're watching it through a lens. Someway, somehow, we feel right there with you guys and it's brilliant.
Great video and beautifully filmed. You guys are making superb content. Probably the best travel vlogs on RUclips. Thanks 🙏 for taking the time sharing your experiences with us.
@campervibe agreed. While we do have them, they're like, up little windy roads, in places where you have to be really beady eyed to spot em, AND, at the end of someone's drive, so you would have to have enough face to not care that the family may well be stood in the house watching to see if you actually have the FACE to rob them! These on the other hand really do appear to be in the middle of nowhere and actually do trust the public! 😂
Thank you so much for taking us with you. Norway looks stunning. I visited when I was about 5, so don't remember much. We stayed in Bergan and got as far as Voss. It looks as if I'll be adding it to my bucket list to visit again
Great video guys!! the scenery reminds me of our travels in New Zealand 🇳🇿 in a van.... those were the days. 1 month - North and South Island done... looking forward to the continuation of this amazing trip ! brilliant

WOW again simply amazing, thank you for taking the time and trouble to take us with you. Lou the worst sea sick feeling I had was sitting inside our motorhome on a short crossing, the motorhome was moving but not in time with the ferry it was a horrible feeling
I'm almost speechless Louise over your camera/drone work....the landscape is giving you so much love. I'm really enjoying how excited the two of you are exploring a bit of Norway...and that scramble up towards the glacier was well...a bit scary at times (good on you Emily!) I honestly appreciate the work you're putting into your videos.....it's just been absolutely stunning to see. xo Suzi

I have never watched your videoes, but follow a few other van-people. You vid popped up in my feed, and being from Norway I had to watch, of course. Boy, am I glad I did! Imagine my happiness seeing you hiking and discovering the of-the-beaten tracks, like true Norwegians
Very nice cover of the beuty of Norway. Have to thank you for showing as much as you did from Buer and the glacier there. It's the farm my grandmother grew up on. You should come back soon, the grey house is now finished with an amazing resturant. Not sure if it had opened when you visited. Love to have you back :) Btw... The cows are usually very people friendly ;)
What made me surprised watching these 2 very charismatic ladies, there’s no complaining about the weather! Just smiling and having a good time. And of course , high quality and a professional recording. Thanks so very much, and to all other here, watching, you are more than welcome. Cheers from Norway
Hi lars, firstly thanks for watching and secondly thanks for the nice comment. I think as our trip progresses we do talk about the weather a bit, mostly though, so fellow travellers that wish to come here know to bring the right clothes and kit! We have a saying “there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!” The weather here is definitely unpredictable lol, but that only makes things more interesting!! It’s a beautiful country in the sun or the rain and full of such lovely people, we’ve really enjoyed Norway, our favourite country in the van to date!! 😀 Having a dog and a cat in the van does make things tricky when the rain is prolonged but you just have to adapt and get on with it whatever the weather right? Thanks again for the lovely comment, I’m sure we will visit Norway many times over the coming years, hopefully at least once in the winter to see it in the snow!
@Camper Vibe 🙏 Can imagine. What to do with our beloved pets? Lets take them with us🍾🍸😃❤️ unfortunately, I’m stucked in the middle of this beauty with a motorbike and 3 kitty’s 🐈🐱 hehe🙂( I love my life) If You return to Norway for your exellente mediations wintertime, Aurora Polaris , Tromsø, NORTH is on the « bucket list» of ideas for many around the world. Do them and me a favor, please Do it❤️🥰 Safe journy everywhere and thank You both so so much🤟🍺😇 Friendly regards from me! but its all about you 2❤️
Fun seeing your video as you were in the area I drive through every time I go to see my mum. I live on the West Coast and she lives up in the mountains near Hardangervidda. Great video 👍It's a 9-10 hours drive.
OMG, brings back such jaw dropping "love Norge ❤ " memories. Reality, at my age & bad knees now, I could not rock climb up to that glacier. Lovin all these "water, fjords, waterfall" vlogs! The drone adds the "cherry toppings ! Thank you! Several other vloggers, have not gone extra, with the beautiful panoramic views you have offered in your vlogs + the cheeky humor between the two of you! (Posted from AR USA)🌞🌼💛🐈⬛🦮💛🌼🌞
Very nice, get in more of those fjords!! More rain and lower temperatures on the way. Enjoy the more northern half.. guessing that’s where your getting to now. All the best and don’t forget to try the smash chocolate haha

Hi girls! I don’t know what to say, you girls are in heaven! The beauty is indescribable. The most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. What a great video girls, can’t wait to see the next one. Regards

Wow! Norway is amazing. Thanks for showing us what a beautiful place it is. And, how accessible hikes are.
We have the dala-horse in sweden. You should come and see it one day.
This video is absolutely the coolest and most inspirational video out there. Thank you so much for creating this and inspiring many of us to dedicate our lives to the purpose we all are looking for, or have already or about to find. Happy exploring.
Amazing scenery, loving this trip you're taking us on. I think the lesser known hikes are much better. Love watching you both
That’s awesome, glad we make it feel like that
Norway's air conditioning unit must be big 😂
Out of all the trips I've watched never wanted to visit a place so much like this before 😍❤️❤️
I think it’s massive
Great video and beautifully filmed. You guys are making superb content. Probably the best travel vlogs on RUclips. Thanks 🙏 for taking the time sharing your experiences with us.
Have you never seen honesty boxes in England Emily they are everywhere in the countryside selling fruit eggs jam and veg 👍
Haha what I meant was on the side of a busy road I have only seen eggs outside someone’s house in rural areas not on a main road 🙂
It’s great to see you both so happy … and that waterfall is awesome !!
Absolutely brilliant video. I adore you two! The scenery, drone footage and adventurous hikes…BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT 💕
1 month - North and South Island done... looking forward to the continuation of this amazing trip ! brilliant

Just an awesome vlog you two! I’m loving all the glacial waterfalls you’ve found!!
WOW again simply amazing, thank you for taking the time and trouble to take us with you. Lou the worst sea sick feeling I had was sitting inside our motorhome on a short crossing, the motorhome was moving but not in time with the ferry it was a horrible feeling
Oooo yeah that would not have been nice for sure
I'm almost speechless Louise over your camera/drone work....the landscape is giving you so much love. I'm really enjoying how excited the two of you are exploring a bit of Norway...and that scramble up towards the glacier was well...a bit scary at times (good on you Emily!) I honestly appreciate the work you're putting into your videos.....it's just been absolutely stunning to see. xo Suzi
Thanks you Suzi

I have never watched your videoes, but follow a few other van-people. You vid popped up in my feed, and being from Norway I had to watch, of course. Boy, am I glad I did! Imagine my happiness seeing you hiking and discovering the of-the-beaten tracks, like true Norwegians
The views are extraordinary. Norwegians are lucky to be gofted with such beautiful scenery.
Wow, you really did the glacier lake justices. Fantastic scenery porn
Thank you ❤️
Wow, Norway is beautiful, thanks for sharing 🙏💜
Very nice cover of the beuty of Norway. Have to thank you for showing as much as you did from Buer and the glacier there. It's the farm my grandmother grew up on. You should come back soon, the grey house is now finished with an amazing resturant. Not sure if it had opened when you visited. Love to have you back :) Btw... The cows are usually very people friendly ;)
wish I was 50 years younger, so jealous, many thanks for sharing. ATB
We have a saying “there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!”
The weather here is definitely unpredictable lol, but that only makes things more interesting!! It’s a beautiful country in the sun or the rain and full of such lovely people, we’ve really enjoyed Norway, our favourite country in the van to date!! 😀
Having a dog and a cat in the van does make things tricky when the rain is prolonged but you just have to adapt and get on with it whatever the weather right?
Thanks again for the lovely comment, I’m sure we will visit Norway many times over the coming years, hopefully at least once in the winter to see it in the snow!
@Camper Vibe 🙏 Can imagine. What to do with our beloved pets? Lets take them with us🍾🍸😃❤️
unfortunately, I’m stucked in the middle of this beauty with a motorbike and 3 kitty’s 🐈🐱 hehe🙂( I love my life)
If You return to Norway for your exellente mediations wintertime, Aurora Polaris , Tromsø, NORTH is on the « bucket list» of ideas for many around the world. Do them and me a favor, please Do it❤️🥰 Safe journy everywhere and thank You both so so much🤟🍺😇
Friendly regards from me! but its all about you 2❤️
2:29 such a brilliantly edited video sequence 🥰
Your filming and photography gets better and better.
Fun seeing your video as you were in the area I drive through every time I go to see my mum. I live on the West Coast and she lives up in the mountains near Hardangervidda. Great video 👍It's a 9-10 hours drive.
Stunning scenery and the videos you do are amazing, I will go there one day now, thank you x
Thanks Laura, glad you enjoyed it
Very nice, get in more of those fjords!! More rain and lower temperatures on the way. Enjoy the more northern half.. guessing that’s where your getting to now. All the best and don’t forget to try the smash chocolate haha
Oh I will be trying that, the time soon 🙌
What a great time your having , jealous lol that waterfall amazing , we have honestly boxes here in cornwall I see many outside peoples houses , just finished 4 nights 12 hour shifts and always look forward to watching you both ,
